This spot was such a good find! We stopped by on the way back from a weekend trip, and were excited to find a poke spot in the area. I had never had a sushi burrito before but have had plenty of sushi and poke. When I saw the place was called pokerito, I knew I had to try the sushi burrito from here. It wasn't busy at all when we came around 11:30am on a Sunday. I built my own burrito with salmon, spicy crab, and plenty of toppings. For the two sauces, I got the yum yum and sushi sauce on the side. The burrito was actually quite big, but I would say the poke bowls are probably more worth it for quantity since you're paying the same price. The salmon was super fresh and so soft, and paired so well with everything else. I liked the spicy crab as well, but there wasn't anything too outstanding about it. Both the yum yum and sushi sauce were delicious and I loved how getting it on the side meant I could add the perfect amount to each bite. Overall, everything tasted really fresh and delicious, and I would certainly recommend checking this spot out if you're nearby! Great first sushi burrito experience :)

A solid and consistent poke location in Visalia. Excellent for pick up, making it a great choice for lunch. I've use the online ordering system through Yelp and I've never had an issue. The bowls are packaged well and bagged up with napkins and utensils. The only downside is that some of the daily specials and toppings weren't available through the app. However, unless you want nigiri or a sushi roll, I recommend getting an order through the app as the bowls were often neater. =ORDERED= *Bowls: came in two sizes, regular and large with 2 or 3 scoops of protein respectively. *Bases: consisted of lettuce, white or brown rice or seaweed salad. *Proteins: loved the selection of cooked meat and seafood alongside raw seafood. My favorites were the tuna and salmon. The bulgogi and Cajun shrimp were great alternatives for those who don't eat raw fish. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon were cut horizontally into strips and marinade didn't have much of a kick. *Toppings: included lettuce, cucumber, carrot, onion, jalapeno, green onion, crispy onion, seaweed salad, corn, ginger, wasabi, and pineapple. Not mentioned on the menu were furikake and sesame seeds. I loved how plentiful each scoop was and everything seemed fresh. My favorite was the crispy onion in terms of texture and saltiness. *Sauces: most options were soy sauce based. The only memorable sauce was the poke island which was mayo based mixed with pineapple. There weren't many spicy options. The miso and poke sauces were relatively bland and only contributed salt. I'm most impressed by the quality and variety in proteins from Pokerito. I would love to see greater investment in the sauce selection. Some more flavorful or spicier options would upgrade my bowl creations. I'll be back to grab my lunch on the go.

You can't call in and their online ordering isn't working. Getting lunch for tomorrow! Clean, safe and practiced. Really nice, open atmosphere with decor on the walls! Worker given order that was done online, even though it wasn't working. Sauces on the side. The workers were kind and happy to make it up. After it was made up, wished a good day! Next day! Lunch set up! My poke bowl was fresh and absolutely delicious! Wow! One of the best I've had. Everything in it was delicious! Plus, it's a lot! Easily 2 meals! Mother said hers was great! That it was fresh and a lot of food! Good service and Great poke bowls! Highly recommended!

We've been regulars at Pokerito for many years and it has always been good. But their new menu has really elevated things. Try the Christina Roll (my wife's favorite) or the Volcano (my favorite). As good or better than anything you might order for much more money at Sushi Kuu or Gozen. Other menu favorites: Thai boba tea, seaweed salad, dumplings. Non-menu favorites: the artwork on the walls.

7/13/20 I've been on a poke bowl kick and been eating this type of dish nearly every single day as I've become addicted to its delicious contents. So naturally, I came across this restaurant. I can't recall exactly what I ordered but I usually get half and half of rice and iced greens along with whatever marinated raw fish they may have. This location has a very delicious ceviche style salmon, in a slight acidic taste. I really enjoyed it and came back again for another order. I also enjoy all the vegetable options, and picked the house ponzu sauce as well. The customer service here is top notch, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Ordered my food through Grub Hub and I had forgotten to add vegetables to my order. The two employees behind the counter were more than happy to help without questions. Their customers service was excellent! The food was really fresh and delicious. I ordered a bowl with raw tuna and salmon and it wasn't fishy or slimy at all. The sitting area is much larger than I would have expected, and could accommodate large groups. read more

I was pleasantly surprise with the quality of the fish at Pokerito in the Central Valley of Visalia. I ordered the North Shore Burrito filled with Tuna and Salmon and their signature spicy sauce. I thought it was delicious and hope my next experience tops the first. They serve boba drinks and smoothies which I find common in the Central Valley perhaps because of the dry heat. Friendly staff and clean establishment. read more

My partner and I both now twice have gotten sick after eating here. Which was food poisoning I noticed all seafood and other meats were room temperature. Nothing was cold or hot just room temperature. I know for fact seafood uncooked out all day can give you poisoning. Sorry I loved this place but We have gotten sick. Please safe because food poisoning is not what you want. read more

I love poke bowls and sushi in general. So when this restaurant opened up and everyone recommended it to me, I had to go and check it out. Service: good. Most of the people working there were very friendly, helpful, and hard-working. When not serving someone they were cleaning up. However they can get a bit talkative with one another but they're college kids. Food: awful. I ordered salmon in my bowl because it's my go-to. I love salmon and get it at every sushi place I visit. It's buttery and just amazing. But the salmon here was the worst I've ever had. I've never had salmon that tasted so badly like... fish. Like a terrible fish taste. Salmon should not taste like that. And it was tough, not soft, like it should be. Maybe it was an off day or they were getting a new shipment in the next morning but I couldn't finish the fish because I was afraid I was going to get food poisoning. I think, in addition to the raving reviews it has been getting, the fact that it is in Tachibana's old building upped my expectations of the place. But it really disappointed me. If you like the vibe of this place, the modern asian type food/ambiance, just go to Maroo. They don't have poke bowls but the sushi they do have is so much better. read more

While I was in town I saw that this place was good and had amazing reviews so came in and while it is a simple layout inside the people there are so nice. The selection is small but its about quality and not quantity. I loved the tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, and even got some of that Cajun shrimp. But something I don't think enough people were getting was their seaweed salad which pairs so amazing in the bowls. That with the miso dressing, some sesame seeds, and the szechuan powder makes for one tasty bowl. Definitely try this place if you are in town. read more

Haven't had poke in a good while, due to previous experience at this location that ended in me visiting urgent care for food poisoning. I was in the area, starving and decided to get a late lunch. I always order the bowls but went with a burrito instead. I didn't build my own burrito, fear of over flowing it or breaking apart, I just ordered one of the pre selected ones. Needless to say, it was horribly assembled. Fell apart as soon as I unwrapped it. And staff member was not so friendly. Overall I have to say, this establishment has gone downhill since they opened . read more

Like others have stated, the service was great. I was greeted at the door with a smile and all the employees were friendly. I have been here twice and plan to keep coming. My wife ordered a regular size poke bowl, half white rice, half brown rice, with spicy tuna and crab salad. She was pleased that she could get any rice combo and she was happy with both proteins she chose. She said she was plenty full after eating the regular size bowl. My first visit, I ordered a large bowl which comes with the option of 3 scoops of protein. I chose two scoops of tuna and one scoop of salmon. The fish tasted fairly fresh, no funk. There were two bites of tuna that had an unusual texture, probably just a poor cut or cheaper piece of fish. Otherwise, fish was good. On my second visit, I ordered tuna, cajun shrimp, and squid salad. Tuna and salmon were by far my favorite. The large bowl was filling for a big boy like myself. The toppings were excellent, lots to choose from. Avocado was (I think) a $1.50 add-on. Seems a bit steep for 1/4 to 1/3 of an avocado. I'd highly recommend asking for extra toppings of the ones you like best. My favorites were the seaweed salad and those crunchy onions add a nice texture. Both occasions I asked for a blended drink with boba. The first visit, I was told the boba only comes in the milk tea version. No problem, I ordered a green tea boba and enjoyed the drink. Second visit, I asked again, "can I get a blended thai tea with boba?" This time I was told yes, but was then delivered a thai tea on the rocks. No big deal, not worth complaining about. About 10 minutes later, the owner walked over and asked how it was, so I asked him if they do blended drinks with boba, he said yes.. Okaaaay. Obviously there is some sort of disconnect. between the front and back of house. Make sure you clarify what style boba you want and be ready to ask for it to be re-made if you are particular about boba. With that said, the drinks and tapioca pearls were great. I took off half a star for the boba and the other half a star is because of the miso soup. It was the least flavorful miso soup I've ever had. It was like water with tofu, pretty bad. The friendly staff and good poke bowl deserves your business. read more

Extremely delicious place. But definitely on the pricey side at about $12 dollars each. But with that being said it's pretty awesome that they allow you to choose whatever toppings you want at no extra charge unless you choose avocado. The fish they have is also oh so very fresh and delicious. They have salmon and tuna and an seaway of hot toppings like pork and Cajun shrimp. They do not skimp on anything; both fish and toppings. They also have some great sauces and they don't skimp on that either. All in all a great experience with some very lovely employees as delicious food. read more

POKERITO IS NOT GOOD POKE!!! It is consistently "alright" and I am appalled at the large fan base it holds. The sauce variety is severely lacking, and the fish quality is adequate. This only serves as a place holder until a better poke bar pops up in town. The service is memorable, int hat the staff is friendly and will do their best to make sure that you feel welcome. read more

First off we thought the bowls we ordered were great! One bowl was missing seaweed, but at least it wasn't missing any fish. The portion sizes are very generous and everything tasted fresh. Based on the food alone we would come back. It scratched an itch for fish that we both had and overall we are happy with this place. read more

First time trying Pokerito and was impressed with the quick service and delicious product. My husband and I ordered an L.V. Raiders Poke Burrito to split and it was made with fresh and quality ingredients. Additionally, upon checkout, they offered the option for additional sauces. My husband chose Poke Island and I chose Sushi sauce (similar to eel sauce). I added a touch of sriracha to the sushi sauce and it made for a delicious topping. I would definitely recommend and will absolutely be back. read more

I'm so excited that Visalia has poke that is delicious! Since its opening, I have probably eaten here 5 times and the quality remains excellent. Each large bowl (3 scoops of protein) is about $9, so not too bad for how much you get. The interior is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the milk teas are also very good. Excellent small poke place! They have bowls or sushi-ritos. I ordered a large bowl with time and salmon and all the toppings. Fish tasted very fresh, they make the wasabi in house and it tastes amazing! Never has my nose run so much while eating poke. They also have boba as well. Overall a great experience! read more

We loved our poke bowls and the service was amazing. I will definitely go back. The Thai tea was delicious. My bowl had rice with crab and Cajun shrimp- so good! The dressings I chose were spicy mayo and sushi sauce. They had so many fresh toppings to choose from. I had lettuce , carrot, cucumber salad, cilantro, and green onion. I had never had a poke bowl but I certainly will have many more! The staff was extremely patient and very friendly. Try this place! read more

Tried it & LOVED IT!! Had a build your own sushi burrito with spicy tuna, crab, avocado, cucumber, green onion, masago & spicy mayo. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Fast & friendly service, very clean and fresh ingredients. Prices are insanely reasonable too, got a bowl and two burritos for $28! If I were to eat sushi myself would be more than that! read more

The food here is really, really good but sadly it's just a hit and miss depending on if it's fresh or not when everything is fresh it's delicious but sometimes they use old food maybe from the previous day. When it's old you can taste it and there's no use in complaining not like it matters. So like I said hit or miss when the food is prepared fresh delicious when it's old you can taste it. So sometimes it's good sometimes it's not. As to the service it really just depends who is working some employees are nicer than others. Ehh ok mediocre at best. read more

I had a great experience here :). Staff was amazing; everyone was very kind and helpful. I got a bowl with three scoops of protein. I picked out brown rice for my base, protein- salmon, tuna and crab, it was all great! There's sauces and plenty of additional toppings as well. The matcha tea was a bit on the sweet side, but still very good! I would recommend this place and I'll be coming back! read more

I should start with saying I love sushi, and maybe I'm just spoiled by the poke bowl places in Fresno. I was so super stoked when I saw they opened up a poke bowl place in Visalia, but I left completely disappointed. I wouldn't even call it mediocre. It was not tasty at all to me. I suppose if you don't know how much better the places in Fresno are, this might be alright. Also, maybe I just went on a bad day? Lots of other people apparently love it, so if you love sushi as much as I do, maybe give it a try. read more

Pokerito is one of my favorite healthy foods to eat. Delicious food. The boba isn't that good. But other then that the food is wonderful. Only thing bad I have to say about the place is when it comes to employing I'm more then sure the company or manager is racist or just racially biased. read more

Pokerito is fresh and tasty! The poke burritos are delish, but I prefer to get the large poke bowl. It's more food than I can eat, but I love the third protein scoop! Make sure you get the spicy crab and the seaweed salad. Owner is super welcoming and friendly, staff is quick and helpful. read more

Worst customer service ever! The food was not worth the price. We paid $30 For 2 bowls of : I've never had hot mushy rice in my pokebowl before until today. My fish was cooked because of the HOT rice they served. I do not recommend this place. Not to mention we had to eat in our car because the outside dining tables were filthy and a mess too. I am not sure what happened because when pokerito 1st opened we enjoyed poke with great service...and it was not the same at all today. Possibly new Ownership I don't know? I would have given NO STAR IF THE APP ALLOWED! read more

First time here/first time having a poke bowl and loved it. First off greeted by friendly employees and didnt hesitate to explain the process/choices to me. Thanks! The choices were fresh and plentiful. I chose the regular bowl with salmon and shrimp, a few other toppings too. I chose teriyaki sauce and spicy mayo. Great combo! That bowl filled me plus have some for later. The prices are great. To top it off the thai tea... I love thai tea! If the staff and g Food stay consistent they will do great. Ill recommend this place to everyone. read more

I come here for their amazing teas which I am in love with. I usually get unsweetened black/green tea with passion fruit jelly. I like their poke too very thinly sliced veggies and good protein. Not big in the sauce because not spicy enough for me but I add jalapeños. read more

With many poke restaurants closing around Visalia (Poke House, LemonShark Poke), I'm so happy this one is still around and as delicious as ever with tons of great meat and topping options. I decided to order on DoorDash today, and I was incredibly pleased that our order got here in 20 minutes or less. Yes, seriously! I've never had a DoorDash arrive that quickly. I ordered their ramen (made me SO happy that they offer ramen all year, let alone, at all because not many other poke places offer ramen -- only some do). You pick a broth base (regular, miso, or spicy). I got regular (super flavorful; definitely recommend); chose raw spicy tuna as my meat option; and opted for green onions, carrots, and edamame as my toppings (can choose up to 16! but I was happy with just these 3). I was very shocked at how good the ramen was overall and how generous the portions were. I expected a tiny spoon of spicy tuna like other poke places do, but it was much more than just a spoon. Even the green onions had the perfect portion. Normally when I get green onions at a poke restaurant, they give like a little pinch but not here! They even packaged it in 3 separate, heavy-duty containers so that things wouldn't get soggy during delivery. The ramen noodles were in one, the broth was in another (and was wrapped in cellophane and placed at the bottom of the bag to keep the lid on tightly to avoid potential spillage), and in the third included the toppings and meat I chose, all neatly organized. I enjoyed an amazing lunch; thank you so much! I hope the staff that worked that day get superb recognition. read more

**6/5 Star Review for Pokerito** I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pokerito, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a modern twist that makes you feel both comfortable and excited to be there. The food was absolutely delicious; every dish was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the signature dishes--they are a must-try! But what truly set this place apart was the exceptional service. Our server, a young Asian man named Taehun, was hands down the best server we've ever had. Taehun was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. He was knowledgeable about the menu, provided great recommendations, and his cheerful demeanor made our dining experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to their job, and Taehun truly made our night special. If you're looking for a place with incredible food and top-notch service, Pokerito is the spot. I had a horrible experience at Pokerito this evening that I just had to share. I ordered four bowls, excited to indulge, but my experience quickly turned sour. When I placed my order, the guy behind the counter was moving at a snail's pace and managed to prepare all four bowls with steamed white rice. Meanwhile, the girl behind the counter was busy sorting out DoorDash orders and took one of my rice-filled bowls for an outgoing delivery! After that fiasco, the guy casually turned around and informed me that they didn't have enough rice for my four bowls! Seriously? I was there at 6:15PM, and they close at 7:45! There's no excuse for running out of their main ingredient, especially during peak hours. This isn't the first time I've faced this inconsistency at Pokerito. It's so frustrating when something as simple as having enough rice can ruin an experience. If you're considering dining here, just know that you might not get what you came for. I hope they can get their act together because right now, it feels like a luck of the draw. read more
