It was not good. Very little flavor and pretty much reminded me of cardboard. I ordered Gyro Rice Bowl - gyro meat served over basmati rice, with a side salad of onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers, all topped with Ziki Sauce. Very little GYRO meet and as previously mentioned, the only flavor that I really got was salt. It was a salt bomb. I kept chewing on something crunchy like dirt maybe from lettuce. It was not washed well. I don't know, but it was gritty and this is not normal. I have had this exact same order many times from this location and have loved it every time. I don't know if they're under new management or just they need better attention to the product but today was not a good day. I left feeling that I had not received the product that I came for and overpaid for the product that I got. Very dissatisfied. Sad, I was looking forward to this for my dinner. I ate here for the first time this week. I regret not knowing about this restaurant sooner! We loved everything we had. The chicken bowl was fresh and delicious! The sauce is off the charts. My friend got the chicken pita. She said the pita was the best she had had. We got the feta fries which were crispy, hot, and delicious! The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. I wish I took pictures of my food cuz it was sooo goood. Definitely come here if you're in the area. The only downside is it's so far from me! I would come here more if it was closer. There's parking, but it's a pretty small and tight plaza. Most people order take out, but there are a few tables here and there, plus a tv. They also only have bottled water so it may be good to bring your own water. Overall, definitely definitely recommend!!! You won't regret it. read more

Tried Gyro Rice and Spice for lunch on Saturday and it was delicious. I got the spicy chicken wrap and it was 4.3/5. It was really good, the bread was just a little tough, but the flavor was 100% there. I also got a side of fries and it was so good, perfectly seasoned, and hot. Happy to say this is a great place to get chicken over rice. The interior is clean, with plenty of seating. Staff was friendly. I ordered a combo bowl, appreciated the generous portion. I tried this place yesterday and thought it was amazing! I decided to buy 2 of my colleagues at Medical City a late lunch before our meeting because i know they would've liked the food... the only problem was that the energy from the cashier and one of the guys by the grill on my second visit was less than valued. The lady that took my order had such a not so pleasant attitude and when she spoke it was extremely low and the way she stared at me made me feel a way. As i waited for my food to be prepared the talking in spanish at the grill began...i stayed quiet and listened as the lady dug into a box on the counter next to the register giving me "looks". I promise, I have never seen this lady in my life so i didn't understand why she was so weird towards me. Before leaving, i told the cook thank you... he smiled, and they started speaking Spanish again and i turned my back to face them as i was walking out and one of the guys smiled a weird smile at me, really weird....i walked out got in my car and they all started laughing. The most disrespectful experience that i have ever encountered before. I will not be back that was unacceptable! P.S. I am a Dominicana maybe they thought I was not.. and didn't understand them... We got the gyro wrap, gyro bowl, smash pita wrap, the spicy gyro fries, and the banaoffee cheesecake. We loved everything, but I'd say the top favorites were the gyro wrap and the gyro bowl. Gyro was juicy, the yellow rice was fluffy, and the sauces were a compliment to the food. The smash pita wrap was also good; it's like a burger in a pita instead of a bun.
