Came for their grand opening! Their bowls are absolutely delicious! I built my own bowl with white rice, ahi tuna & shrimp. Toppings were: cucumber, corn, onion, crunchy garlic, furikake, surimi & seaweed salad in sweet chili gochujang & sweet shoyu sauces. Everyone is very friendly and management is great. I am a Poke fanatic and I've been wanting to try this place after stumbling across their Instagram page. Finally after months of anticipation, I made the drive from Victorville to Fullerton. I am so disappointed and unfortunately I will never be back. The sauces were mediocre and very very high in sodium. The rice was mushy. I gave it 2 stars because the fish was the only thing perfect. Honestly I was so excited to come and try this new poke spot and I immediately thought the fish and all of the toppings were great! There was so much variety and new flavors to choose from which definitely makes them unique! Unfortunately my rice was not cooked properly. I also ordered a spam musubi and the rice was not edible :/ If the rice is not cooked well for a poke bowl , the whole bowl just won't taste good. I might've come on an off day which understandable and they just opened so I am willing to give it another shot! Didnt get her name, but an asian girl gave me some of the worst service at a poke restaurant Ive ever seen. I worked at one for 2 years and she didnt seem to give any effort to make a good bowl. She put the sauces in the fish and just dumped them on the rice without mixing. When asked for more sauce she just squirted the rest of the sauce out of an already empty container and just left a glob in the centre without getting another bottle. When putting any topping on she just dumped the in a pile without spreading or shaking toppings like garlic on, so when eating I just get a mouthful of garlic in one spot. She also spoke so quietly that couldnt hear a word she said. This was my first time here so I dont know if its always like this. But it seems like they dont train their employees enough. No, I would not recommend this place. Premium price but not so good food. Save your money and calories elsewhere. We got 2 orders of 3 proteins with 1/2 rice and 1/2 salad, all the "free" add ons, and the poke works classic with ponzu sauce. Small chunks tuna, salmon and "lobster". The rice is wet and soggy; nasty, not properly cooked. The whole experience tasted like bunch of leftover packed on tight a small plastic bowl. There is no poke taste at all. The best thing is the can of Diet Coke. Sadly, this is the worst poke I ever had, definitely not going back. read more
