My friend and I wanted to check out this location since we were craving poke and didn't know Pokeworks had a location in Fullerton. This location is smaller than the Irvine location, but in a pretty common center by the university. On this particular day, there were two girls working, who had an attitude from the jump. Carelessly throwing ingredients into the bowl and not paying attention to what she was really doing. As for the food, the fish was cut into very small pieces and some of the veggies were very mushy like they were going bad. I really like Pokeworks since going to the Irvine location, but this was disappointing. I believe they just opened a few months ago so I hope that they can improve in some areas. read more

They're holding Lava Volcano Bowl event and I went to try. Their standard Lava sauce was extremely spicy--almost too much for me to handle. The pokebowl itself was delicious. The sashimi was fresh and well-prepared. I especially liked the spam musubi, which was freshly made and turned out to be my favorite item. The service was efficient and friendly, and the overall vibe of the place was casual and welcoming. Try it if you like spicy food. read more

This is my first time here and this place is so clean and nice!! Poke and toppings are mixed separately (which makes the bowl look so much more yum). I got a regular spicy salmon bowl (no up charge for spicy vs regular salmon) and the total for a MEDIUM bowl was $17 after tax (normally $15.95). It's pretty normal for poke, and worth it for fresh poke like this!! read more

They don't close at 9 they close at 8:30pm if you want to dine in. Everything is put away in the dining room, even bathrooms close.

I usually enjoy coming here because the poke tastes great, and I find myself visiting almost every week. However, my experience with some of the staff has been disappointing. On a few occasions, I've heard employees using inappropriate language while working Today I was the only customer in the store, yet the person taking my order seemed rushed and inattentive. He missed several of my requests, and had to repeat my order twice. It felt like he just wanted me to leave as quickly as possible. After finishing my order, he tossed the serving spoon to the back, which was such a weird behavior. When I asked for an extra sauce on the side, he told me there would be an extra charge. I mentioned that I hadn't been charged for it during a previous visit, and his response was troubling. He pointed toward the kitchen staff and said they were probably too lazy to charge me and that he would talk to them to get them in trouble. It was so uncomfortable the way he was speaking. The food is consistently good, but management and staff needs a lot of improvement. read more

I had been here before but this last time I came in I was told they are under new ownership and I can definitely see the improvement in the quality of the bowls, the friendly staff and super clean environment. I ordered the Hawaiian Ahi bowl, the rice was super soft and fresh. The fish was amazing- they had fully stocked topping options. Staff was super friendly. I'll definitely be eating here more often from here on out! New owners are very attentive and it shows!!! read more

It is good but extremely pricey for the quality of fish. The same girl would always help me and she seemed unwelcoming and not friendly. I always made sure to be polite and ask how she was yet she would give a weird look to me. The scoops of fish were so small in comparison to the rice ratio. It sometimes has a weird fishy taste that doesn't sit right with me but never makes me sick thankfully. They are open, friends! I'm sure many were like me anticipating the opening of this location! I ordered a 3 protein bowl with double spicy tuna and lobster, I had half rice and greens as my base; topped it with the crab salad, cucumbers, seaweed, cilantro and dressed it with ponzu. I like how I can customize this to my preference or you have favorite bowl options too. You can make yours into a burrito if you prefer! Service was great with friendly and patient staff! The location is quant and clean. Parking is shared with EOS gym, other popular eateries so can get full fast. It's nice that the front parking are 30 min so you will get a parking space quickly if your plan is to take your food to go. I promise I'll share photos next time! read more
