The past couple times I've been here, I was NOT impressed with customer service, the portion you get on your bowl & how LOUD the music is playing. As well, the lack of cleanness on tables and bugs.. But today changed, I was greeted by all workers and it felt more of a friendly environment. I got the right amount of portion in my bowl and explained a little bit of their other toppings. Music was at a good volume, not loud. I could hear the workers talking rather than having to say "what" all the time. They should fix their glass though, it's too high and sometimes you can't hear because of it. Finally, no bugs on the table or floor. Let's hope it keeps it that way. read more

The poke burrito is pretty good and the seaweed paper is a nice alternative to a tortilla shell. I ordered the large burrito which is two scoops of fish. I like that you can pretty much add everything as far as toppings go to your order though it can make your burrito a bit full and unable to wrap all the way around making a bit more difficult to eat. It also runs a bit small and can leave you wanting more so you may want to add a drink or something to fill you up. Other than that, it's a nice place to grab a quick bite. read more

I've had a Poke bowl and a Poke burrito here and both have been excellent. I have tried the tuna and salmon and both have been really fresh. Try the Sriracha Aoli mixed with ponzu, my favorite so far. They have an Audio-Technica Autec machine for placing the rice for the sushi burritos. Perfect every time and pretty cool to watch. The rice is great. Service is super friendly but isn't the fastest since this place just opened, I imagine that will improve with time. Probably one of the best poke places around. The service was alright however, they just seemed a little clueless at times. The fish is good and you can tell it's quality. The place is clean and the center isn't too crowded. I did have a bone in my fish, very small, but it was still there. However none of my friends had bones so it was probably a rare occasion. There seems to be an abundance of poke bowl places popping up and now the question is which one is the best one? Decided to come here on the weekend for dinner. There was a line up to the door and it moved fairly slowly. The set up here is Chipotle style, move through the line and pick your options. The thing that makes it a bit slow is that all the poke is not premixed and they actually custom make it to your liking in front of you. I think one of the highlights here is that they offer fruit toppings like mango and mandarin oranges. I know fruit in your poke sounds a little weird, but believe me it was pretty good. Another thing that I love about this place is that they have a whole crunchy topping section like crispy wontons, fried garlic bits, and crispy onions. The cons to this place is that avocado is $1 extra. I've been to multiple poke places and avocado is usually free, so that is a bummer. If you don't want a poke bowl, they have this unique poke burrito which is poke wrapped in rice and seaweed. Think of it as a huge burrito sized sushi roll. Overall, this is a great place for poke with unique options and I would definitely come back again and maybe more often if the avocado was free (hint hint)! read more

this is my favorite poke place, partially due to convenience but mostly because of how tasty it is. I always get a bowl with ahi tuna and salmon, edamame, cucumber, onion, mango, orange, seaweed, umami shoyu, a little bit of wasabi aioli, and a ton of LOTUS CHIPS. Lotus chips are so good I could eat them alone. The wait is usually very quick, similar to a chipotle style setup. The bowl is pretty large but not overly filling and decently healthy. read more

They lean toward the pricier side of poke places though, at $10 for just two sushi options. Otherwise, clean interior and good service. I LOVE this place! It has great customer service, and the fish taste really fresh! The kale noodles are so good, i recommend it to my friends and they love it. I don't really get anything else except for the poke bowls, but they have sushi burritos and other pre-determined poke examples if you're lazy to pick and choose. Love this place!!!! I'm a big fan of Poke and have tried many places. This probably ranks as my top. Good quality, fresh, and the whole staff is friendly. Prices are standard for a Poke place, and it's Irvine so you automatically get that famous Irvine Premium. They're still very new, having been open for only a couple of weeks. I'm sure they're still working and perfecting the speed. I know running a restaurant is tough, and it takes time for the whole unit to operate like a turbo engine. I'm sure within a month, they'll be cranking out orders like nobody's business. I have been here several times and will continue coming back! read more

Please fix the AC. I used to like this place, but now, not so much. My last few visits have not been very pleasant. The AC has been broken for weeks now. With the current hot weather, how can a seafood restaurant not have AC? On my last visit, the scallops were mushy and some did not taste good. There are so many different combinations of bowls and burritos to make that I change up my order every time I come. Came for the BOGO event - there was a pretty good sized line and it was consistently busy while we were there. Not much seating inside but there should be enough seating outside. We got a couple of large bowls - I got the ahi, salmon and albacore and my wife got two servings of sous vide scallops and chicken. Just as we were up next, they ran out of sushi rice... fortunately my wife was able to get the last serving but I had to get brown rice. Not a huge deal, and a problem like this could have only been the result of so many orders coming in per the BOGO deal (they likely weren't expecting to run out so quickly). I wouldn't anticipate this being a problem in the future. They have a ton of different options, including adding 'crispy' stuff at the end. The lotus chips are great. They also have a lot of different sauces to try - the ponzu and Hawaiian classic are the ones we liked most. The wasabi mayo was OK. They also were offering a free bowl of miso soup with Yelp check-in so my wife was able to get that after. The fish is fresh and the service is good overall. I also like the fact that they offer non-raw fish items for those who aren't into that. The only thing that sort of bothered me is the difference between "regular" and "large" - the only difference I saw is that there's an extra scoop of fish (2 vs 3). They don't give you any more rice or use a larger bowl, which is what most other places tend to do. In other words, an extra scoop of fish basically costs $3 more. That seems slightly more inflated than necessary, considering we're already in Irvine :) We may come back - I think the crispy items (lotus chips, rice puffs, garlic and onion bits) in addition to the larger selection of unique sauces is what sets this place apart from the plethora of poke joints that have cropped up in the hood. read more

This place is effing amazing! So fresh, delicious and so many options! I was able to lose 60 lbs of post baby weight by eating their salad bowl 2-3 times a week!!
