As for me, Poke Bar is on my rotation for different Poke places. As a younger man, I spent a few summers working on fishing boats, so I'm something of a snob about seafood in general, particularly with regards to freshness. Poke Bar seems to share this ideal, as their food is impeccably fresh and delicious every time I visit. I'm something of a creature of habit when it comes to sides, but I do rotate through the different fish: generally, I order a medium with either salmon, yellowtail, tuna or albacore... and load it up with seaweed, masago, furikake, sesame seeds, and chili (I am El Gigante Picante, after all, Ichiban...) Glad that this place stuck around through the Great Panini, and hope they stay here in this big shopping center for a long time. I started getting hungry as I was waiting for someone to finish shopping at Burlington Coat Factory. I decided to walk around, and found this Poke Bar. I read a review stating that there was a Yelp event here. I am sad that I missed out on the event, but I am happy that I was able to try this Poke Bar. I got a medium bowl which came with 3 scoops of protein for $14.99. They had a wide range of sauces, and they have a helpful handout that tells you which sauces pair well together. I ended up going with the house Shoyu, light drizzle of sesame, and the spicy garlic. It was a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and spicy (highly recommend)! I've been to this location a few times over the years. Poke Bar is good to have when I'm trying to eat a bit healthy. I usually get a medium bowl with half salad and half brown rice. On the last recent visit, I chose the salmon, albacore and shrimps. The shrimps are very small here, so I would skip that next time and maybe pick another fish. They are pretty generous with their other toppings and sauces. Many choices to choose from like seaweed, crab meat to pineapple. I like to top mine with furikake sprinkle on top. Nice options for sauces and toppings, but $3.50 for a small extra scoop of imitation crab is crazy when other places are charging $1.00 or $1.50 for an extra scoop of topping. Overall, $20 for a "large" bowl with small scoops of fish and small portion sizes for toppings, plus crazy surcharges for anything extra makes this place one of the most expensive poke places I've seen in the 626. read more

I've unfortunately ordered online from this restaurant. I dislike writing bad reviews, but I had high expectations from this place considering the online orders had good reviews. The photos also looked appealing. However, I ordered two medium bowls, but these are the smallest medium bowls I've ever come across from all the experiences I've gotten poke. Not to mention also the most expensive. The photo is below for reference. It's slightly mixed and I took a bite to try because the taste or quality might explain the small portion. Medium poke bowls at other places usually fill you up halfway through completing the bowl. I ate the whole bowl and still do not feel satiated. I don't have large hands as a 5'2 person, so they either used the wrong bowl or it's purposefully done that way. Either intention is absolutely disappointing. This was the only time I ever felt inclined to make a phone call to the restaurant. It's heavily undersauced and some of the toppings are missing. When I received the bowl I was surprised as to how small the bowl was. I've been to many poke places and this was definitely one of the smallest "small" bowls I've seen. Then, I picked the 'Volcano' (a spicy mayo sauce) and Sweet Unagi sauce from their signature sauce menu (other sauces they have are: Ponzu Wasabi, Wasabi Aioli, Sesame, Cilantro Lime, Miso, and their House Shoyu - soy and sesame oil blended with citrus). The team member that compiled my bowl was attentive and helpful in recommending the most popular sauce combinations at their establishment. The quality of fish was superb and they were cut into nicely sized cubes, with a big enough serving of each fish given, so there wasn't the issue with the topping-to-fish ratio being thrown out of balance. I recently came here with my boyfriend cuz we were craving poke and us being the only customers, we were rushed for whatever reason. Someone smack me. I can't believe I haven't left a good review for Poke Bar. I come here ALL the time. I love Poke Bar!!! Good quality. Fresh ingredients. The price has increased since I started coming. That means the establishment is doing well. Good for them. They also don't offer rewards points anymore. The staff is considerate, they listen to your request and if you ask politely you can literally get away with getting extra scoop/sauce on each item. I make sure to tip when they hook it up. It is plaza parking thank god! Or I'm gonna go cray every time I have to find street parking for my Poke fix. It is always clean and well maintained.
