Parking was difficult to find on their lot. Came during a weekend dinner time. Place was really small and packed. It was hard to move around. Got the 1/2 pound of Ahi Garlic Crunch Tuna for $18. Ate the tuna as soon as we got it. It was really and full of flavor. Felt $18 was expensive 1/2 a pound.
Stopped by on a weekday afternoon and only had to wait about 10 minutes. The restaurant is located in a small plaza with shared parking. The ambiance was casual, with limited indoor seating, so it may be more convenient as a takeout spot. The staff was also very friendly! I was surprised to see that they only served ahi tuna, with no other fish options. I ordered a regular bowl with Hawaiian shoyu limu, garlic crunch, and 'uala mash (Hawaiian sweet potato). Even though tuna isn't usually my top pick for fish, this bowl was surprisingly good. The tuna was extremely fresh and had a uniquely firm, chewy texture without tasting overly fishy. The texture was probably what made this poke bowl stand out the most. I also liked the subtle sweetness of the 'uala mash. Between the Hawaiian shoyu limu, which came with seaweed, and the garlic crunch, I personally preferred the garlic crunch. It was more flavorful, and the crunch added a nice textural contrast to the tuna. I would definitely come back again for the tuna!
The best addition to SGV!! I was so excited when they finally opened a storefront. My favorite poke flavor I've tried is the ginger scallion ahi! All of their fish is super fresh, and the sides are also really tasty. They're really great at explaining the menu and they let me try a sample of a side I was curious about. The biggest downside is the parking lot of the plaza. It's really small and tough to find parking during the busy times. There's also only a few tables inside, so you may have to grab and go!
Premium poke and the uala mash does run out pretty quick by the time dinner rolls around. Standard poke bowls are pretty filling. They do provide quite a lot of tuna. Choose between 2 ahi flavors, 1 side, and provides standard rice. The standard ahi tuna should be paired the rice beceause it cuts some of the savoriness down. Texture is buttery.

My husband got the Ginger Scallion, I got the Kim Chee Cucumber, and we purchased an additional pound of the Ginger Scallion to take home. By the time we got there, the premium selections were sold out. We were told that they always run out in the morning and that line is out the door. We weren't planning to stop by in the morning anytime soon, so we grabbed what they had available. The tuna was fresh in both servings. The Ginger Scallion was light, flavorful, and balanced. I ate the pound we took home with white rice; I prefer to eat it that way. The Kim Chee Cucumber can be enjoyed on its own. This one had a great kick to it! We enjoyed this one very much. The staff were all friendly and personable. There was a line when we got there, but not long enough for it to be out the door. There are a few seats inside if you'd like to enjoy it there. They also have a self-serve water station, merch, snacks and drinks you can purchase. Overall, I recommend Unreal Poke! The poke was zestful, the portions were generous, and they have a great selection. We will be back hopefully in the morning to get their premium ahi!
Long overdue review for Unreal Poke since I tried it back in June! I got a Shoyu Poke Bowl with 'Uala (Sweet Potato) Mash - great flavors and super fresh! So glad it's close by and a short drive from my house. I used to live in Torrance and my go-to poke place was Jus' Poke in Redondo Beach. I haven't really had much poke since then, but I'm looking forward to more visits to Unreal Poke in the future! Mahalo for the great meal!
I've been waiting to try this spot because it's always packed, but one day I drove by and finally decided to check it out. The store itself is pretty small, so seating is limited and it can get crowded, but I was getting my food to go anyway. They have a few different poke options, but by the time I ordered, they only had the spicy ahi and shoyu ahi left. I decided to get a poke bowl, and I also got the lau lau and kalua pork combo plate with a side of poke. I have to say, the poke here tastes legit. I've been to the islands many times, and the quality and flavor here definitely hit the spot. I can see why this place stays busy. Now the lau lau and kalua pork plate... sheesh. It was amazing! The lau lau was sooo good, probably one of the best I've had outside of Hawaii, no joke cuz. The kalua pork was really good too and the whole plate was a solid portion. Overall, I'm super happy with this spot. It's also really cool to see Jordan, the owner, evolve from doing pickups to now having his own storefront. Definitely well deserved. I'll be back soon for sure, especially because I still need to try the other poke flavors before they sell out again.
Wanted to try this place since they were still just a stall at festivals. This is their first brick and mortar location. It's a pretty small restaurant with a few tables so takeout is your best option. Ordering is quick and efficient. Garlic crunch ahi - 10/10 best flavor! Shoyu Limu (premium) - well balanced, wasn't overly seasoned. Sauce compliments the fish wonderfully. Spicy Hawaiian Limu (premium) - mayo based sauce, well balanced. Loved that they didn't overdo the sauce. Ratio of fish to sauce was perfect Everything was super delicious! It tasted just like Hawaiian poke from Hawaii. It's definitely the closest you'll get to Hawaiian style!
SGV Passport x Unreal Poke! My wife and I were excited to come to their location as we tried Unreal Poke when they were vendors at the Yelpies last year. Parking in this complex can be a challenge. However, you can park on streets nearby and just walk. The location was poppin' on a weekend afternoon. The line was almost out the door! It's a tight space as it's mostly a quick service spot. There are only a few tables inside the restaurant if you wanna dine in. There is also a bathroom. They offer snacks and merch such as tee shirts for sale. Water dispenser is also available for customers. We redeemed our SGV passport deals for the 1/4 poke and order 1/2lb for ourselves. Unfortunately their premium fresh 'ahi was sold out for the day. We ended up ordering the getting our redemption for the Kim Chee Cucumber and Ginger Scallion. The 1/2lb we ordered was of the Ginger Scallion as well. We dined in as the rush of customers dwindled down. Our orders were ready in about 10 minutes to our surprise they gave us extra poke in the 1/2 containers as well! Whether intentional or unintentional that was awesome! Mahalo for that! The Ginger Scallion & Kim Chee Cucumber were both very good! My wife and I were both in awe and happy with the poke! The Kim Chee Cucumber has good spice to it and I'm a fan of spice! My take away from each bite was how freshness of the 'ahi. It most definitely reminded me of Hawaii. Not sure if salmon options will be available, but what they serve up now is good enough for me. My wife and I look forward to returning again and hopefully being able to try a bowl next time. Parking is available in the lot shared with other businesses. Poke is available daily and once they sell out, they're out. The SGV has always been waiting for authentic poke, and I'm glad we have one now!! Food: The poke is the best I've had on the mainland. The ahi is fresh and the flavors are simple, but allow the fish to stand out. The kimchee poke was pretty spicy but I liked the kick. The portion size also stood out to me. My wife and I shared the large poke bowl. It comes with two servings of poke and one side. We had leftovers! The mac salad was really good and Hawaiian tasting. Spam musubi was also very good. My all time favorite is served at the ABC stores on the islands, but this one is pretty comparable. Service/ambiance: Staff was welcoming and friendly. There are a few tables inside andnot spacious at all. Overall, I would recommend Unreal poke. I'm so glad this place is within my community!

I was expecting so much but for $20 a bowl, I'm glad they did. It lasted me about 3 meals. As for the fish itself, really thick chunks of ahi and tasted pretty fresh. Both were too salty in my opinion, kinda strong in flavor so next time I'll try different ahi. The Mac salad was really creamy but they skimped me out in that. There were about like 8 pieces of Mac in my bowl. Overall, I would come back. It's very small inside so no room to eat, and on a hot day it was t the best to eat outside but we had to.
I thought I knew good poke in the area & then I went to Unreal - the name is 100% correct. This is by far the freshest, best poke I've had in CA. Everything we've tried has been incredibly fresh & delicious, & while it's slightly more expensive than other places, it's so incredibly worth it for the quality you're getting. The restaurant is a bit small so you may not necessarily have a seat, but please don't let that deter you, it tastes just as good when you take it to go. The team is very friendly & willing to answer questions. Do NOT miss this spot.
So thrilled they are officially open and no longer in soft opening! Came here on Friday at noon and it was fairly busy but the line moved pretty fast! They're open Wed-Sun and closed Mon & Tues - Wed to Fri - 11am-2:30pm & 4pm-8pm - Sat & Sun - 11:30am-2:30pm & 4-7pm Parking can be difficult since the parking lot is quite small and it's shared with other businesses. However, there is nearby street parking! Inside is pretty small with very limited seating so I recommend taking it to go. Staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Pricing is slightly pricey but they definitely don't skimp on the quality and portions so you definitely get your money's worth! Regular Poke Bowl is $19 & Large is $24! It comes with rice and complimentary side. They also sell Poke by lb. - 1/2 lb - $16, $18 (premium) - 1 lb - $26, $32 (premium) The standard Poke flavors were: - Shoyu, Spicy, Ginger Scallion, Kimchee Cucumber, and Garlic Crunch Premium flavors were: - Hawaiian Shoyu & Spicy Hawaiian Sides were: - Uala Mash, Seaweed Salad, Crab Salad, and Mac Salad I used my SGV Foodie Passport and redeemed my free 1/4 lb poke (complimentary flavor - premium included!) Best poke I've had since visiting Hawaii!!! I was in the area to check out the arboretum plant show and decided to stop by for some poke prior. So happy I did. It was amazing! Food: 5/5!! Poke was fresh, the purple mash was soooo good! Reminded me of Hawaii! Wish I liverd closer I'd go once a week for sure. Service: 5/5!! Everyone was kind even though they had a packed restaurant. Line went outside, but they were quick and very nice regardless. Ambiance: 5/5! Small little Hawaiian poke vibes. 100% recommend. read more

I was at the 626 Night Market in Arcadia recently. One of the booths was promoting the 2026-2027 MySGV X 626 Night Market Passport Limited Edition and MySGV Boba Passport. Both are valid through June 30, 2027. I didn't hesitate and bought both passports for $40. What a deal! Unreal Poke is 1 out of the 24 participating restaurants in the MySGV food passport. It was my 2nd restaurant visited and stamp acquired. Superb! I've never been here before until now. They are a small and quaint corner shop located in an unknown plaza on Baldwin Ave in Arcadia. Very limited inside seating with maybe about 2-3 small tables. It's mostly a take-out place IMHO. One all gender restroom available for customer use only. Besides delicious poke and other Hawaiian inspired foods, they also sell merchandise, snacks, condiments, and more. Now let's talk about their free food offering. Wow, one 1/4 lb Fresh Poke of one flavor was my choice! What a generous offer! Thanks Unreal Poke! Staff was super friendly and nice. Great quality and fresh selection of various pokes. I love salmon so I got the Shoyu Salmon Poke as my poke flavor of choice (lots of salmon chunks, tasty sesame poke sauce plus onions, cucumbers, green onions, seaweed were the perfect complements to the salmon). YUM! In support of biz, I also got 1 spam musubi (good, but too much rice and not enough spam), 1 small uala mash (very tasty with a slight hint of salty flavor), and 1 guava cake (nice and fluffy, but needs more deep guava flavor). YES, it's UNREAL POKE! Highly recommend for the poke connoisseurs. I'll be back for more of the real deal poke. Btw, parking is a bit of a challenge and somewhat tight. Best to come here early to snatch a good parking spot and their premium poke because when they sell out, that's it for the day. Do check their business hours before visiting because they close between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM and reopen back up at 4:00 PM on most days. read more

My poke prayers were finally answered when I learned of Unreal Poke opening a brick-and-mortar spot in the SGV. Many of us are already familiar with the build-your-own poke bowl concept, which was popularized more than a decade ago, but authentic, premade Hawaiian poke has remained harder to come by. This place brings traditional island flavors to the SGV with a poke counter-style concept featuring poke bowls, poke-by-the-pound, poke bombs, and combo plates. Ahi tuna is the star of the show here. I've tried both the spicy and the garlic crunch flavors, both of which were fresh and delicious. Each bowl comes with furikake rice and your choice of a side, which includes seaweed salad, crab salad, mac salad, and more. You can also choose up to two flavors, which adds some nice variety to an already generous portion. I also really enjoyed the Spam musubi; it was the best I've had yet, with perfectly seared Spam and a flavorful sauce. Service is quite efficient, so despite how busy it can get, the food comes out relatively quickly. The cashiers are also friendly and patient when answering questions. Seating is limited, with only a handful of tables, so you may be better off taking your order to-go. Overall, this has quickly become my favorite poke spot in the 626. My only feedback is that while the ahi tuna offerings have been delicious, I would love to see other seafood poke varieties such as salmon, scallop, or yellowtail. read more

Pretty solid poke shack in Arcadia. Parking can be a hellhole though....Its basically in the corner of that stripmall where happy lemon used to be~(I think..). Ended up parking on the street by 7/11. The store layout is a little confusing because there were two lines--one was for ordering and the other side was just waiting for their orders. Two entrances and a couple of small tables. Lots of people at lunch time coming and going. I tried to imagine different layouts for the store while I was inside but couldn't come up with anything better than what they already have for store efficiency. Anyway, I ordered a regular shoyu and spicy ahi with seaweed salad. All the meals come with rice and a side. Friend got a large with this purple yam mashed potato tasting thing. Pretty dense and filling. My FISH WERE FRESH and flavor was pretty decent. I'm writing this review mainly because I think their customer service is great. Friend's plate had a tiny hiccup situation and he brought it to their attention. Not only did they immediately give him a brand new bowl and were super apologetic. A worker came by a short while later and offered us a macaroni side and 2 musubis~then came by again later and refunded him. He paid for us so I essentially got a freebie meal too...he didn't say something expecting to get anything free~but rather for them to be more careful but they took the situation and went above & beyond with their customer service so that speaks volumes about their business. I kept seeing Unreal Poke pop up on my Instagram feed recently, so my husband and I decided to try it today for lunch. We arrived a little before 1PM on a Sunday, and it was packed with people waiting for their orders but the line for ordering was not too long (two groups ahead of us). They also have a stand at Smorgasburg at The Row in Arts District on Sundays if you can't make it out to this new physical store in Arcadia. It's a small shop in the strip mall plaza with 88 Beef Noodle, so they only have a few tables and chairs for customers to eat at. We got lucky and were able to get a table, but most people were taking the food to-go. After we ordered, it took maybe about 20+ minutes to get our food. They pack and call out orders in numerical order, so expect a wait if there are a lot of other people waiting around. They gave us a free spam musubi for waiting awhile, which was a very nice gesture. The rice in the musubi was kind of mushy (understandable since it is wrapped in saran wrap under a heat lamp), but the flavor was good. Now on to the main attraction--the poke bowl was SO GOOD. We ordered a large poke bowl (garlic crunch + Hawaiian style limu ahi tuna poke with kani crab salad + uala mash as sides), and it was definitely enough food to share between my husband and me (especially with the extra spam musubi). The poke itself was super fresh in perfect bite sized chunks and well marinated. Coming from someone who has never really liked ahi tuna, I loved both the garlic crunch and the Hawaiian style limu because the texture was firm and bouncy and the flavors/ingredients were great as well. I have never been to Hawaii before, but I felt like I was transported there through the food because it was the best poke that I've (and my husband has) ever had. I read other people's reviews that the poke is too salty, but I thought the poke itself was fine and that the saltier bites were from the furikake. If you ate everything in the poke bowl together, it kind of balanced out the salty furikake. The uala mash was so yummy and paired well with the saltier bites by adding a bit of sweetness, so I definitely recommend it! The rice in the poke bowl was the perfect texture, and I didn't feel like there was too much rice in the bowl because they give a good amount of the fish and sides. My husband and I were already thinking about what we want to order next time while we were still eating our food, so we will definitely be back. The food is worth the wait and service is really nice. The poke here is truly unreal (in the best way possible), so I highly recommend trying it. read more
Unreal Poke is exactly what this community was missing and we are so happy to find authentic Hawaiian poke at home! The owners and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Parking is plentiful. We would come here everyday if we could. The quality, flavor, rice to fish ratio, fish to sauce ratio, portion size, and everything else you can think of is executed perfectly. Every flavor has been a hit, but these standout for us: Spicy Ahi, Limu, and Kimchi Cucumber. 3rd visit here and unfortunately they lost a star from me :( This time around the fish was quite salty, and the sides portion for the bowls are much smaller than my first 2 visits. Flavors reco: - garlic crunch - spicy - spicy shoyu Skip the ginger scallion, it taste like hainan chicken which in some way feels a bit weird and also did not go well together IMHO read more

SO WORTH THE HYPE! I've tried many poke spots throughout SoCal, and I can confidently say this is the best one. What makes this place stand out to me is how closely it resembles the authentic and fresh poke I had in Hawaii. It is on the pricier side, but I would say the quality of the food truly reflects what you're paying for. I got the regular sized poke bowl with Spicy Ahi Tuna and a side of Macaroni Salad. The sauce was creamy and rich, complimenting the bed of fluffy rice underneath. I also tried a bite of my boyfriend's Shoyu Ahi, and I love how savory and well marinated the fish was. For a regular sized bowl, you can choose up to 2 flavors and they are very generous with the amount of fish, too! I had enough leftovers for another meal because of how big the portion was! The mac salad was also delicious! I want a bowl of that on the side next time! My only complaint: too much green onion in the sauce hahaha but that is just my personal preference since I don't like green onion! You order at the cashier and wait for them to call your order number. We waited about 10 minutes after ordering for our food to be ready. Seating is extremely limited inside. I had purchased the SGV Food Passport and this is one of the restaurants who were participating. They only give you a small sample of poke with a packet of soy sauce and sriracha sauce. I ate the poke without anything added to it and it was fresh tasting and delicious on it's own. The small restaurant was packed and there was no place to sit inside. They should ask the city to allow them to add outdoor tables. read more

I've never had Hawaiian poke before so this was a first. I came on a Thursday around 6pm with a friend, the parking is a little small as it is in a plaza with a bunch of other stores. There was a small line inside and a few tables to sit at. The fish was very fresh and the staff were very helpful in helping us decide what flavors to pick, also offering 2 samples. Towards closing they also offer discount on the poke which is good to know it doesn't go to waste read more
Unreal Poke was SO good!! Everything tasted super fresh and had so much flavor. The cashier was really friendly and gave us some great recommendations, which we really appreciated! My boyfriend has been to Hawaii over 20 times and said this is the best poke he's had outside of Hawaii, and I 100% agree with him. Definitely one of the best poke spots we've tried. It is a little pricey, but honestly worth every penny for the quality and flavor. The only other downside is that parking is pretty limited, but that wont stop us from coming back. The wait was not bad at all on a Sunday noon. The reason I gave 2 stars is because my family and I got minor food poisoning from this meal :( It was also really expensive (around $56 for 1 premium ahi large bowl and 1 standard ahi large bowl). Flavor wise, it was not bad but I felt like the flavors weren't strong enough and were super similar to each other since I had to keep alternating flavors to actually taste something. Not worth getting the premium flavors imo. The mac salad and crab salad we got were nothing special, I've definitely had better. Good to try, but will not be back :( I still like Jus Poke in Redondo Beach the most read more

You needn't hop on a plane to go to Hawaii, when Hawaii is in your backyard. We stumbled across Unreal Poke today, and lemme say it was UNREAL! We ordered poke bowls and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity! Our bowls were overflowing with fresh ahi and in my case, a side of the imitation crab. Our other bowls had the 'uala mash; equally overflowing and tasty! No need for Foodland in Hawaii when you have Unreal Poke in Arcadia. Do yourselves a favor and give this place a try---you won't regret! Aloha! read more

Yoooo finally got some delicious poke. Love how there's no frou frou customizable area. You can either get a half pound or 1 pound of poke or a poke bowl with rice, seaweed salad, or a purple sweet potato glob called 'ūala mash. My brother and his gf got the kimchi ahi and I got the spicy ahi with mayo. My poke was drowning in mayo so if you're a mayo fiend.. get that. Garlic ahi seems more suited to my flavor palate. They sold out of the 'ūala so I shall try next time. Fish is fresh and tender. Lots of people grab and go since seating is limited. Coming back next time I have an open mic for comedy at Astronaut city! 4.8 overall and excited to come back. Thanks for bringing a piece of the islands to SGV, Unreal Poke. read more
Amazing! I'm glad to be able to try this again, now at their new permanent location in Arcadia. We arrived on a Wednesday around dinner time, and there was a small line at 6:30 PM. The fish looked like it was starting to run out, so I'm pretty sure we got the last of a few items. The line moved quickly though, and we ordered and received our food in under 20 minutes. Now for the food. There were a few different items on the menu compared to the last time I visited their pop-up shop, and these are my thoughts: Poke Bomb - I absolutely loved this. It lets you sample a few different flavors, featuring inari topped with some of their special poke. It wasn't salty but was packed with flavor. A must-try if you enjoy inari. (5/5) Poke Bowl - We got a large bowl so we could share it. The portion size was reasonable, but the poke is still unreal. It's one of the few poke spots around that truly reminds us of the poke we had in Hawaii. Not much else to say besides it's delicious. (5/5) Overall, this is definitely a go-to spot if you're craving the real deal. The fish is incredibly fresh, the ingredients are high quality, and the flavors are excellent. Yes, it's a bit pricier than your typical poke spot, but the quality makes it worth the splurge every once in a while. Parking - Small lot. It may be difficult to find parking during busy times since the lot is shared with several other businesses. read more

Intrigued by unreal poke! There's been so many places opening and popping up all through the SGV. The poke game is stepping it up this year which has been great. I love witnessing the evolution. Poke has been a long time trend but its trajectory is getting better. Unreal Poke is a great example because while there are spots that are chaining from popular areas like Hawaii, Unreal is creating its own force. It's not caught up by toppings, multiple bases, or sauces but showcasing what poke should always showcase-- The fish and the ode to the culture it comes from. We got the shoyu ahi tuna and the spicy salmon. Loved both but the tuna was a perfect savory chunk of a bite! Onion, green onion, and shoyu mixed with a little seaweed salad, crabmeat, mini spoonful scoop of rice all atop some crunchy seaweed I had at home. Mmm. The salmon was also good but in this particular case because of how fresh the ingredients are, the less saucier, the better I say... And trust any of my close friends when I say that I am the sauce queen of most friend groups. So, to say less sauce means that the fish is that good without being to flashy from sauce. The creaminess of the spicy salmon and the crunch from the masago was good but I feel like next time, I want to taste the salmon more than its complimented sauces. A solid poke bowl is one that makes you crave for less sauces and more of just the fish itself and the very few small additions just to really round out one bite to the next. A little crunch, some chew, some extra umami hits (but not too much!), and a quick piece of ginger to freshen the next bite. We also got a two musubis to go. The only thing we wanted to have some more of was their mac salad but they were about finished with it by the time we got there. They sold out of salmon when I visited so I wasn't able to try that. I got the tuna and it was pretty good. There was a large portion of fish and you can pick a side. This poke spot was different from the ones in the area because they don't have many sides you can choose from. It was pricey for just one bowl. The staff should spend some time explaining the menu. Theres limited seating inside. Parking can be hard, it's a shared lot among multiple businesses. read more
Unreal Poke is by far the best poke we have in the SGV! One of the things I miss most about Hawaii is the poke. I'm always on the search for the best poke and honestly we haven't found anything comparable to what we find in Hawaii until now. Welcome Unreal Poke to the SGV!! I am so happy there is something here for us now. They are still currently in the soft opening phase, but increasing operation hours and days. Check their IG for daily updates! I've been twice in the last two months and I look forward to coming back for more. The flavors switch out daily and once they sell out, they sell out, so come early! So far I am impressed by everything we have tried. The best bang for your buck is to order by the lb so we typically order half lb to 1 lb and pair it with rice and nori once we get home. Everything tastes so flavorful and fresh! I haven't tried a poke bowl there yet, but the portion looks huge and they include some amazing sides! read more

I tried two flights with 6 different poke flavors. All of them were tasty but since they only sell tuna, unfortunately made it taste more similar across the board despite the variety so hard to say which was my favorite. The flights did not come with any sides so I added a Mac salad and a crab salad. I did not like the crab salad at all. It lacked variety in texture and was super fishy. The Mac salad was only ok, thought the pasta was too soft and overcooked. Probably a personal preference. It's a small shop with a small lot but there is also plenty of street parking in the area. All in all, I'm glad they opened in the area and happy to see extended hours post their soft opening. Will come again to just get a bowl. read more
SOO EXCITED THEIR FIRST STOREFRONT IS FINALLY OPENED!! I've followed Unreal Poke at 808 Night market, pop ups in El Monte, and at B&C. Although Ry Poke opened a few miles down and they are great in their own right; I still have to say, Unreal Poke flavors are still my favorite. We tried their large poke bowl today and it was so delicious. The right cook on the rice, the authentic Mac salad, the poke nicely marinated, and all the suggested toppings.. literal perfection. My husband didn't understand the hype, until his first bite, he got it. We demolished all our food in minutes. We got the shoya and spicy ahi, both amazing. Unfortunately I am terrified how often we will come here as we are considering coming back for dinner... Anyways congrats Jordan and your team ! read more

The best poke I've had in the SGV. Not to name names of other establishments in the area but.... Nothing compares. Fresh fish always, very authentic flavors. Other poke places are doing too much. Mac salad is bomb. If you sign up for texts they have special deals everyday. Kalua pork and Lau Lau hit so good!!! Friendly staff that can help you if you have questions. My wife and I stopped by Unreal Poke on a Sunday afternoon after originally trying it at a family get together, and wow, this place absolutely lives up to its name. Their poke is truly "unreal." I can honestly say it's the best poke I've had in the mainland U.S. and would easily compete with many of the top poke shops in Hawaii. I visit Hawaii every 1 to 2 years, including Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island, and always make it a point to eat poke whenever I'm there, so that's saying a lot. On our most recent visit, we ordered two regular poke bowls. Bowl #1 had Shoyu Ahi and Garlic Ahi Crunch with Seaweed Salad. Bowl #2 had Ahi Ginger Scallion and Garlic Ahi Crunch with Uala Mash. The fish was incredibly fresh and high quality, comparable to what you'd find in Hawaii. This is not the lower quality fish that some poke shops around the LA area use. Every bite tasted premium. The Shoyu Ahi was my favorite because of its rich umami flavor. The Ginger Scallion Ahi was also outstanding and very unique. It reminded me of the classic ginger scallion sauce served with Hainan chicken, but paired with fresh ahi. I've also tried the Furikake Ahi during a family get together and loved that one as well. The Uala Mash deserves special mention. It's something you don't see at most poke shops and was a fantastic complement to both the poke and rice. Definitely give it a try if you've never had it before. Beyond the food, the service was top notch. From the moment we walked in, we felt the true "ohana" spirit as the cashier and owner were very friendly/helpful. The wait time was also quick, about 10 to 15 minutes, which was great for a Sunday afternoon. The Hawaiian music and decor instantly transported us back to Hawaii, and the atmosphere felt like an authentic neighborhood poke shop on the islands. The owner is from the Big Island, and it shows. They clearly know Hawaiian poke and are committed to serving it the right way. If you're looking for authentic Hawaiian style poke made with exceptionally fresh fish and served with genuine hospitality, Unreal Poke is a must visit. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area and am looking forward to trying their crab salad and a new poke flavor. read more
