Ordered two medium bowls, one with spicy tuna and salmon and one with albacore and scallops. Of the proteins, I would skip the scallop and salmon was the clear winner. Scoops are a smidge small compared to the base but the unlimited toppings help balance it out. The toppings were all fresh - especially loved the edamame, cucumber, fried garlic and shallots, seaweed salad and crab meat. Sauces sort of blend together if I remember right, you can only choose 2 and I did wish there was a bit more sauce. Dynamite and ponzu wasabi are my top picks.

We enjoyed our poke bowls, my favorite was the salmon. I ordered a small with salad. I like their sweet unagi sauce with sesame & shoyu. I love all the unlimited add-ons like edamame, corn, pineapple, red onion, cucumber, seaweed, sesame seeds, furikake, fried garlic & shallots. You get 1 free scoop of masago & krabmeat. It's a lot of food for a small bowl. Or you can pay an extra $2 for medium bowl & get 3 scoops of protein instead of 2. They have a few tables & chairs for dine-in or you can get it to-go.

Way to feel unwelcomed. I originally wanted to try the noodle restaurant next door but they hadn't opened yet so I decided to give Poki Bar a try. Also, they didn't have any customers so I thought I'd support their business. On my way in, I saw a promotion on the window for 20% online pick-up orders. I began browsing their menu on my phone to place an order and one of their employees tried to kick me out for looking at my phone in front of their restaurant. Like seriously, there was no one else there, why so rude? Instead of asking me if I needed any help ordering, they tried to ask me to leave. Since I was already there, I placed an order anyway. The food was mediocre, flavorless and portions were small. Scallop tastes like it was sitting around and was warm. I won't be coming back nor recommending this place to anyone.

I love how bomb my poke bowl came out. I was helped by Sarah who was super friendly and patient. She walked me through everything and helped me get my bowl to perfection. Thank you so much! Also, the inside is really clean and music wasn't extra loud. Made everything better.

Sad this used to be my favorite spot when I was in highschool and I just moved back to the area. Size wise is awful smallest bowl I've seen for poke and came out to $18.22 not worth I've had huge platters large size for that price lol. Fish quality isn't there anymore doesn't seem fresh.

What's up: Had a craving for poke and did a search nearby to see what was around. Parking: Located at Arcadia Hub Shopping Center, parking is plentiful along the shared businesses. Environment: Limited outdoor seating is available. Since I placed an online order ahead of time, I was able to grab and go. There was one staff member working the counter. The place is clean and simple and the menu is displayed on the right wall. What was ordered: - Nari Bu: Dynamite Salmon w/Furikake, Spicy Garlic Shrimp w/ Green Onions, Garlic Spicy Tuna w/ Unagi Sauce, Spicy Garlic Tofu w/ Red Onions (yummy and unique but the tofu was a bit bland) - CaLee Bowl (California roll in a bowl. Mix it up for to make it yummy and creamy) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Food was good and ready when I arrived. The Nari Bu was interesting and unique. And I was pleasantly surprised by the CaLee Bowl. Overall, things were good. Credit cards and ApplePay are accepted.

The only thing that wowed me was the portion size and not in a good way. The medium size which is 3 scoops is pretty much the same size as my palm and I don't have big hands by any means. The beef bowl was even smaller! Lol so if you're a hungry person, this is not the spot for you. I've had better tasting poke for better price and bigger portions. I added shrimps for one of the scoops and I think they put like a handful of miniature pieces. They were tiny!!! I think these portions are made for people on a diet. I am far from being on a diet so it's a no from me.

Large - 5 scoops poke and 4 piece Inari sushi
    Ann C.

I love it when my BF finishes the gym at the same plaza and brings poke home for dinner. He also brought the 4 piece of inari sushi. The Large Poke 5 Scoops comes with plenty of fresh fish. It's big enough for both of us to share. Although the inari sushi was good, it was a little too sweet and the rice was a little too wet for my liking. If we get it again, I probably would tell them to go easy on the sauce.

I order two scoops, one was salmon & the other was tuna lava w/ half salad, half kelp noodles, though the kelp noodles did not taste fresh to me, something in my bowl had an old taste unfortunately. I did enjoy the texture of the noodles, everything else was good though, scoops of fish can be bigger. The Tuna Lava flavor had a mexican taco flavor twist which wasnt something I was expecting, I dont know if I enjoyed it in my poke but it was okay. Salmon was good, I enjoyed the wasabi lime sauce they offered. I came on a Wednesday afternoon and they had plenty of seating, not too packed. Place was clean and bright. Not the best poke I have had, but not the worst.

Restaurant was ridiculously dirty. Every surface and door handle was sticky. There was about to be a fight outside between 2 homeless men arguing between each other. The food was meh. I ordered meal #3 (chicken and beef combo) and it came with generous portions of rice and chicken, but three slim pieces of beef and three small broccoli florets. Were they rationing vegetables because they were running low on ingredients that day or something?! The measly spoonful of cucumber/squash salad they give you on the side is honestly such a joke, they might as well not serve it. Miso soup was good. If I had to summarize in one word: gross. You can get the same meal at much better quality AND quantity at TK cafe just a 6min drive from here. Just go to TK, don't bother with this place.

Apparently my Yelp backlog is now longer than the waitlist at some restaurants…read more This dinner happened last week. Better late than never. This visit was a first for both of us. My daughter actually found Mikomi on Yelp and suggested we give it a try. She definitely picked a good one. We started with the Sushi Combo 2 ($50), which included ten pieces of premium sushi: - Hotate (Scallop) - Halibut - Madai - Uni - Blue Crab - Bluefin Tuna - Salmon Belly - Yellowtail Belly - Albacore - Amberjack Every piece looked beautiful on the plate, and the fish tasted incredibly fresh. The variety made it fun because each bite offered something a little different, from rich and buttery to light and delicate. One thing that immediately stood out was the presentation. The plating was exceptional, and every dish looked like it belonged in a food magazine. They were almost too pretty to eat... almost. My daughter insisted we order two Salmon Carpaccios ($23 each) because it's her absolute favorite. I can't really argue with that decision. The lightly seared salmon practically melts in your mouth, and the ponzu-based seasoning adds just enough brightness without overpowering the fish. We polished off both plates in no time. My personal favorite was the Amberjack Carpaccio ($25). If I had to pick one dish from the entire meal, this would be it. The amberjack was buttery, delicate, and refreshing, with a light citrusy dressing and fresh microgreens that complemented the fish instead of masking it. We also ordered the Seared Mackerel Battera ($20). I'm usually a fan of mackerel, and this didn't disappoint. The lightly seared top added a subtle smoky aroma, while the shiso leaf, bonito flakes, and chopped ginger balanced the richness beautifully. To finish dinner, my daughter picked out a macaron ($5) because apparently dessert is mandatory after sushi. And yes... I also ordered my usual cup of hot green tea. If you've been following my reviews, you've probably noticed by now that I order hot tea almost everywhere. It's become part of the ritual. Mikomi has a clean, modern Japanese aesthetic without feeling overly formal. The warm lighting, wood finishes, and comfortable seating create a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for slowing down and enjoying a meal. Even though the restaurant was busy, it never felt loud or chaotic. Quality sushi certainly isn't inexpensive, but when the ingredients are this fresh and consistently prepared, it's money well spent. Price Breakdown Sushi Combo 2 - $50.00 Salmon Carpaccio ×2 - $23.00 each Amberjack Carpaccio - $25.00 Seared Mackerel Battera - $20.00 Macaron - $5.00 Hot Green Tea Total (including tax & 20% tip): Approximately $200 If you're looking for beautifully presented sushi made with fresh, high-quality fish in a relaxed atmosphere, Mikomi is definitely worth a visit. And to my daughter... thanks for finding this one. I think you've earned the right to pick our next sushi adventure too.

The restaurant is very big and open, but feels very lively and comfortable with all the decorations and music, aswell as the nice little open bar that they prep the sushi at. We got a plate of ribs on the house at the beginning, and ice cream on the house at the end. Food 10/10 * I'm not really a sushi person, (was out with family) so I got the box special instead, with the salmon teriyaki. It comes with miso soup, rice, shrimp temperua, an eggroll, and vegetables, 4 pcs california rolls, and a small side salad. * The miso soup was pretty good, good for a cold evening, and i like the amount of miso paste they added, which gives it rhe perfect amount of salty and rich flavor. * Salad was very fresh. No complaints. * I loved the tempura. It had an assirtment of shrimp, cegetabls, eggroll, and a gyoza., as the tempura batter was very light and crispy * Salmon was very fresh, you could tell by the taste, and the light teriyaki sauce on top added to the taste. * Overall the portion for the box is very good for the price, and it reallt does full you up. I would order it again, but I think I'd like to try another variation next time, like the mackerel. Although i didnt order or try it, onr of my family members did mention that the beef teriyaki box was a bit on the saltier side. The icecream at the end was good, it green tea, or matcha, and it was fried, not too sweet. Bathroom review lol The bathroom is pretty solid. Its fairly well cleaned. Although its not some fancy bathroom, it still has all the amenities, and well, its a bathroom! 4/5
