There's a few long tables for big parties. The service is nice and friendly, and I'm always asked if I have any questions or need help. The prices are pretty average for a poke place at $13.99 for the small bowl (2 scoops of protein). There's a little robot that brings your food to your table, and I don't usually find myself to be waiting too long for the food. My only complaint is that when you order the half salad, half rice, I often find myself with a 3/4 salad, 1/4 rice ratio bowl in front of me. They have self-order kiosks for faster ordering. My family member and I took our food to go, however they have ample amount of inside seating. I tried their Large Poki Bowl with albacore, salmon, and spicy tuna. They have many toppings to add in that are included, even avocado is too surprisingly because most poke places offer it at an extra charge. All the toppings and ingredients were very fresh. When entering the restaurant I was not greeted, asked how the process of ordering works (because it's done through the kiosk), nor if I needed any assistance at all. There are three self-serving kiosk's you can order your own bowl at. They offer specialty bowls, poke bowls, drinks (really limited), and more. Ordering was simple and I didn't have much trouble. I do wish more toppings were offered as I noticed they didn't have green onion, fried onion, pineapple, jalapeños and more that I would find at other Poke Bowl locations. I customized my own regular sized bowl and it came out to ~$16 which isn't too bad, but I expected better quality for what I paid for. My bowl consisted of sushi rice, crab, Tako leg, crawfish, PokiMaki sauce, and more. Unfortunately, my wait time was long and my friends were already halfway through their meals before I was given mine. Food is delivered via an AI robot that is cute and surprisingly efficient. I was disappointed when I ate my poke bowl as it was oddly bland even after everything I added and didn't taste as fresh as I would have expected. One of my friends noticed their salmon didn't taste as fresh and couldn't finish their bowl. Overall, my experience was like any other average Poke restaurant and I have had better; but even other decent Poke restaurants offer more of a variety and better customer service. If you're looking for a decent poke bowl for a decent price then Poki Maki by Mr.7 is for you. And to my knowledge they do not offer military discounts :( read more

I came about 40 minutes before it closed to grab some food to fill me up. This place is fairly self service, you order via the kiosk, take a number and take a seat at one of the many tables. A robot cat will bring your order too shortly so I didn't have any human interactions at all. Ended up getting a large poke bowl with salmon, spicy tuna, and scallops. As much as I wanted to like it, I found this poke was pretty mid. It wasn't bad but it wasn't very memorable as well. The fish tasted fresh but the quantity was lacking. The bowl looked pack but it was nearly 70% rice. Also my poke came plain with no sauce even though I put in sauce on my order. A tad of a letdown tbh, and for $16 I felt like there really should've been more. Maybe it was because the store was getting ready to close but still, felt like there was a lack of effort in putting my order together. Even though I have tried many of the other restaurants in this plaza, yesterday was my first visit to Poki Maiki by Mr. 7. I had always heard about the robot bringing your order to your table, and finally got to experience that during yesterday's lunch. I was meeting with a friend for lunch and one can place their order online or through the kiosks. The kiosk was relatively easy to use and I was able to order a few rolls to try. After placing my order, I entered the number of the pager and the robot brought my order to me when it was ready. Eel & Shrimp Maki (5 pcs) $5.99 1x soy sauce 1x wasabi 1x ginger Salmon Avocado Roll (8 pcs) $5.99 1x soy sauce 1x wasabi 1x ginger The rolls were nothing exciting but they were affordable and there were many options to choose from. It's great that the rolls are made fresh and not sitting in a refrigerator. I was full from half of my 2 rolls, and even had leftovers. (Yes, I ordered 2 rolls but I figured for a first-time visit, might as well go a bit "all out." I also was not sure of the portion size of the rolls.) A worker even came by each table to collect the pagers and ask how their meal was. I was pleasantly surprised at that level of customer service. Since it was my first time, I was not sure if I was to ask him for a to-go bag or to walk up to the counter. He was kind enough to bring a box and a brown paper bag. There were a few parking spots in front of the restaurant, but I am sure it can get quite full at times. I am still surprised at the cost of the items on the menu. While my friend and I enjoyed our lunch, we even spotted another coworker come in and pick up their lunch. Poki Maki by Mr. 7 is conveniently located across from Mt. It's self service here - you order at the kiosk and a little robot machine wheels out your food. Fun! The menu here is pretty straightforward - snacks, sushi, curry, etc. Everything is unbelievably cheap. My spicy tuna roll was $4.99 for 8 pieces. Are you kidding me?? I started with the aforementioned spicy tuna roll and it was delicious. Nice and spicy and tuna-y - what more could you ask for? I also ordered the chicken karaage curry ($8.99) and this was absolute perfection. The tender chicken was lightly coated and fried to a T. It had the perfect amount of coating to keep it from drowning in the curry. It was crispy and tender and honestly, I'd prefer this over a katsu situation. If in search of a solid poke place in a pinch, this could be a good go-to. Order from kiosks, which can be challenging for first-timers like us. We ordered: poke bowls (one w/ rice, the other salad), shrimp tempura udon noodles, karaage and sukiyaki. We ordered all of this to go. The restaurant itself is VERY spacious and there's plenty of parking out front. Food order came out a little slow (more than 10 minutes), and then we were on our way out! Onto the food: the poke bowls are standard fare, although we did enjoy the salad one better than the rice one (too much rice, if you're being carb conscious). My kid enjoyed his tempura udon, although they forgot to pack the tempura dipping sauce for him, which was a downer. My FIL enjoyed his sukiyaki and didn't complain it was too salty. I've been to this restaurant three times. The first time, I came with a friend and really enjoyed the poke -- it was great. But on my second visit alone, there was a strong odor, like chicken manure or a chicken coop. It was very unpleasant and made me feel nauseous. I even heard nearby customers talking about how bad the smell was. I left without eating. Today was my third visit. I thought it might have been a one-time issue and decided to give it another chance, but the same smell was there again as soon as I walked in. I sat farther away and forced myself to eat, but it was uncomfortable the whole time, and I felt a bit like throwing up afterward. On a positive note, the service here is excellent. Staff greet customers warmly when they enter, and they check in during the meal to make sure everything is okay. I really appreciate that. I also got half rice and salad and went crazy with all the toppings. The bowl turned out nice aesthetics wise but honestly there was very little poke. It was more 70% rice/salad and 30% poke (I ordered salmon and tofu). Also, the toppings were limited compared to other poke places I've been to. I like how on the kiosk selection they say 1-5 toppings you can choose from but there's only actually four max, with the 5th option being no toppings at all. My daughter and I stopped by Poki Maki for lunch today. This is your typical street mall kind of place except that the food is really good. It's clean but not fancy by any means. Found a fun and exciting new kind of poki restaurant right across from Mt Sac college. The place was clean, all the food in the display window looked super fresh. It was self ordering kiosk. It was first time, so little confused as to what was part of the combos and which were the extra side orders. But after awhile figured out. It's good I like it a lot. After the poke place by my workplace closed down after Covid it's been difficult to find a good place that actually fills you and gives you a big portion. The place itself is pretty big they have music playing. It's pretty chill. You order on kiosk and order items to your liking. I got a regular bowl with salmon and tuna 2 crab balls. My eldest kiddo likes this place and usually orders their trio fries (minus the guacamole) or California roll. From time to time, I'll ask her to bring back food for the fam for dinner. This is located in the plaza at the corner of Grand Avenue and Amar Road, closer to Grand. Lots of eateries in here, including my favorite, Pro Tacos. I haven't dined here yet, but I hear they are testing out a robot server. I like shrimp so I usually get the popcorn shrimp roll or fried shrimp roll. Hubs gets the eel & shrimp maki, and my younger kiddo gets a poki bowl. The sushi rolls are smaller than the maki rolls so sometimes I get a roll with a side or 2 different rolls if I'm really hungry.
