I've been coming here since 2020 and this is the best poke place ever after going to many other places I always come back here

The only thing to keep in mind is that the parking lot is pretty small, so I could see it filling up during busier times. I'm by no means a poké master. Every time I order a bowl I forget what I liked from last time and I get something that I wish had whatever missing ingredient, sauce, or add-on that I had gotten in a previous session. I remember there was a time getting a poké bowl with Toby up near Seattle and she told me what I had gotten was 50% different than the last time we had gotten bowls together. It's just not something I get often enough to have a standard order. That being said, what I got today at Mr. Poke was excellent. All the fresh seafood was chunky and delicious. All the sauces and marinades blended well. My only wish is that I had thrown in a little extra sauce because my bowl was drier than I remember getting other places. I guess that sort of thing would come from ordering bowls more. The staff was great. They were super fast and courteous. I guess I was hoping for a little more guidance as to what to include, but that's not their problem. The space was a little small, but inviting. They had enough tables for what seems like is the normal dine-in crowd. It was very clean and laid out spaciously. I could see myself being able to catch on a few chapters here with no problems. Mr.Poké is a solid choice for those who crave poké bowls. The fish tasted fresh and there was an array of toppings like any other poké restaurant. My only negative was that they ran out of avocado and that is an essential when I have my poké bowls. The restaurant itself is very small on the interior with few tables available and the parking lot in the front has little to no parking depending on the time of day. I arrived during rush hour so it was pure luck I found a parking spot. It appears they have a rewards program if you download an app which is something I may consider in the future. The staff was quick, however they had a flat affect and were monotone repeating, "anything else, anything else" when I made my choices. The staff weren't rude, but just a point I wanted to include. Our FIRST time trying poke in general, and our first time visiting here. We drove all the way from Torrance, it took us more than an hour because of traffic. I decided to try this location because it 'seemed' like this place had more toppings/options to choose from after doing research. We came on Monday around 6:30PM. We went inside and it was empty. I felt like the worker(s) who took our order were rushing us even though we were taking our time deciding since we only ordered one large bowl to share + it's our first time ordering a poke bowl. We gazed the menu but it's kind of confusing, because there is an unspoken limit of how many toppings/garnish you can get. Additionally, the various garnishes/toppings aren't all listed on the glass so we had to ask which is which. The worker had already closed the lid to the bowl before I was about to add another garnish so we assumed there are limits it's just not stated. I am not fond of cucumbers, but my boyfriend is so we asked to get the cucumbers on the side, they said they could not, but then they said they could, and that it will be less portion. We also asked for spicy mayo on the side. In the end, we never got them because it seemed like they forgot to put it inside the bag. I wanted to try more of the sauces but they moved on to payment so overall they only allow two sauces maximum which made our bowl taste dry. They give a lot of rice that sits underneath, but small portion sized for protein & toppings. I think we were fooled because other poke places seem like they offer 3 protein choices-larger portion, compared to this place with 5 protein choices-smaller portion. I'm not sure if it's this place or all poke places, but it does seem like a typical place where people come on a daily basis, so the workers don't take the time to explain the menu or how they operate. A simple breakdown would have been helpful especially since we did take our time choosing and might've seem confused but the workers didn't really care. The presentation is nice but the process wasn't. The lady asked if we wanted utensils, we said yes, then I noticed she put one fork in the bag. Great quality ingredients to choose from and I like all the different topping options to choose from like Mac salad, pineapple, seaweed salad and more. The fish, shrimp, and other proteins are I usually pretty fresh. Service is nice and friendly. There's only a couple tables inside to sit at but this place is more of a takeout place imo. read more

I got 3 scoops of salmon for my half brown rice, half salad poke bowl, with all toppings, and all sauces. It was actually a lot of food and I could only finish half. Not bad, I did a pick up to go. I got a 3 scoop bowl with 2 salmon 1 scallop. Overall, I was able to get all the toppings that I wanted and it was nicely packed. Unfortunately, this place fell a little short for me today. The parking lot is rather small and shared with multiple businesses. The staff isn't rude, but they also aren't friendly. I had to greet the staff because even though they saw me walk in, no one actually greeted me. They don't have a two scoop bowl they start at a three scoops. They're three scoop bowl is the same size as other places two scoop bowls So I don't feel like I'm paying for three scoops. I'm really feeling like I'm only paying for two in fact this blow might actually be smaller than the other place. I wouldn't mind if it tasted better but it kind of doesn't. I really don't care for the white rice . The spicy tuna is good, but I'm not sure this bowl just isn't doing it for me. It isn't tasting that great. Unfortunately, they only have pineapple. This is a really great and affordable place to get poke! I like that the smaller bowl option still has 3 protein choices, and I like that they add sauce sparingly in comparison to other places that tend to load too much sauce on the fish. Really great topping choices, and I love the free miso soup! I only wish that there would be more variety for the greens for the salad since the current greens were a tad bitter for my liking. Mr. Poke has been around for a few years now and is one of the first poke places to open up in Diamond Bar. It's located in a strip mall located next to Hair Affair. I recently visited here two days in a row and it has significantly improved from the first time I went here which was a few years ago. I usually get a regular poke bowl with white rice, three scoops salmon, crabmeat, corn, avocado, ginger, macaroni salad, cucumber, citrus ponzu, garlic ponzu, sesame oil, with spicy mayo drizzled on top. Avocado is extra charge for $1. The poke bowl is excellent. Generous portions for the fish. The salmon is fresh, no sinew or fishy taste. The sauce is perfectly mixed onto the fish with a nice savory and nutty flavor. All of the toppings are excellent and nicely scooped. The white rice is cool, soft, and sticky. It tastes similar to sushi rice. They also offer complimentary miso soup. Service is pretty good. I would be greeted upon entry. The servers are pretty friendly. The restaurant is pretty small. I've been coming to Mr. Poke since I was in high school (for reference, I graduated college in 2023) and this is still one of my favorite poke spots to go to. It's located in a little strip mall with weird entrances and little parking, but it's so worth it. It's a smaller restaurant tucked away in the corner and there are a few tables inside for you to sit at. I always get a regular bowl which allows for 3 scoops of your protein--I get 2 scoops of tuna and 1 scoop of albacore! Regardless of who is helping me, they're always super sweet and give me a decent amount of fish! After that you pick your sauce, toppings, and garnish. All of the above are unlimited (with the exception of avocado for an extra charge). They also provide complimentary miso soup which I always get. I'll always love them, I swear! read more

Came here with my coworkers on a Wednesday afternoon. This place is super small and limited parking. There were different choices and I went with the regular bowl which has three choices of protein. I got salmon, tofu, and tamago with rice. You get unlimited toppings of your choice and for my seasoning, I chose garlic ponzu. I liked how instead of putting the raw salmon in my rice, they separated it and mixed the sauce with it, and then put it on top. The plating of my bowl was pretty. Service was quick and fast-- even though there was a line originally, it went by pretty fast. There isn't a lot of seating indoors though so it's more of a takeout place I'd say. Hit the spot and fill your tummy right. They are giving complementary miso soup now. Reasonable price and generous portion. Service was fast. I always turn past this poke place when heading towards Diamond Bar and decided to finally try them out. The parking can get pretty tight in that small plaza, especially since it's a really busy cross street too, so just keep that in mind. I got the: 1) Regular Sized Poke Bowl: -I chose to have this with white sushi rice and a scoop of ahi tuna, salmon, and octopus. -For sauce, I got garlic chili and spicy mayo. -On top of that I added crab meat, seaweed salad, edamame, macaroni salad, furikake, macaroni salad, nori, tempura bits, and for a nominal fee, some avocado. -Everything was fresh, and they gave a good amount of protein. I don't usually see mac salad as a toping for poke so that was nice and there's was rich and not too sour. -The rice itself was a bit mushier than I would have liked and with how huge the bowl was, this made it a bit hard to finish eating, so it might be a dish you share with someone or save for later. 2) Thai Tea: -Standard Thai tea in a can Not bad, but for the price I think there are better options nearby. read more

I love this place. Everything from the service to the food is great! You pick from either a small or large bowl. The small comes with three scoops of seafood and the large with 5 scoops. And then you pick all your toppings, which include things like crab salad, macaroni salad, avocado, without an up-charge. You also get a yummy miso soup with your meal. Finally decided to try this place out. It's located in a small lot with limited parking. Went around 4pm and there wasn't a lot of parking spots. Got a regular sized poke with a shrimp tempura roll - total was about $29. Poke was decent, not too spectacular but will definitely go back some time if I'm craving poke (closest poke in my neighborhood). The shrimp tempura roll was really bland - I assumed it was a crunch roll but it was just a shrimp tempura with avocado... Can't believe this was $14 but I learned my lesson.
