Stopped in for a quick lunch because I was craving poke. There was one person working who seemed to manage the small line that just went through and the orders online that were coming in. I ordered a small bowl with salmon, and was alarmed when the total cost came to $17 after tax. As I understand it, the amount of fix ins are the same between a small, medium, and large bowl, but the amount of scoops of fish is different. I wish this spot had a small with bowl with less fix ins that you can buy for less money, between $10-$12 seems reasonable. The amount of food I got for a small bowl was a ton and was more than I wanted, but had pretty good flavor. For the amount of sides and rice you get, the ratio of fish seems very small, so I'd check out this spot if you want less poke and more sides with your meal. For those that's never been here, it's basically a Chipotle/Subway version of poke. You start with your base and you got down the assembly line until you pay. No extra charge on toppings, which is nice. Is this the best poke ever, no, but I do appreciate all the different toppings and they do not charge you extra if you ask for extra toppings like seaweed salad. Is it the best quality fish in the world, no, however this place is so busy that I'm positive that they do get fresh fish on the daily.
