FROZEN poke pieces :(( Perhaps it might have been an off day (On a Thursday 4pm) , but what used to be a phenomenal poke meal here is no more. Last time I visited, about 6 months ago, the fish was super fresh and delicious, combined with scoops of (free!) avocado, seaweed salad, and crab salad. Service was attentive and quick. What could be better right?! My go to meal here is the combo which includes a roll on the side of the poke, but this time, the avocado roll had browned bits of avocado, and it seemed the sushi rice was overly seasoned with vinegar, and it just didn't taste right. The cuts of fish were not only small, as some Yelpers have also noted, but what bothered me the most was that the fish was FROZEN inside!! It had not been completely thawed! I really want to like this place, because their location is convenient, their staff is super friendly, and apparently they make their own sushi rice. I hope the owners take note to fix this quality issue to bring it back to days when this place was the best poke spot in Milpitas. read more

Were huge poke fans! So I was excited when finding a place close to where we live! Been here twice in 3 weeks since finding the place LOL and I love it! I will say, I feel the scopes of fish are smaller? Not sure.... however, its still super yummy here and pretty affordable in price. I will keep coming for sure! Both times there was no line, SCORE! Super delicious spot were basically you create your own bowls of sushi meaning rice and or greens on the bottom with scoops of fish and all of the toppings including avocado cucumber onions etc. I definitely would not recommend coming here for rolls since the only options are an avocado roll or a California roll but fantastic for the sushi bowl concept!! read more

This place is great because with a regular, you get a choice of so many different types of "proteins" (or fish), and you can choose for 3! The fish tasted of excellent quality and I would say with the portion, you get your money's worth here for sure. I was torn between getting greens completely but was able to do half greens half brown rice, but the greens weren't bad. For those with a healthier diet, the greens make it such a lighter choice and I liked it a lot. The spicy tuna, ahi tuna, and salmon was great... and lots of toppings to choose from! read more

Best poki bowl in silicon valley!!!! i would give 10 stars!! The dining area is clean and it was playing hawaiian music when we entered. it gets crowded after 12:10pm. We were greeted by very friendly staff who patiently listened to our order as we were debating which toppings to pick. The poki is super fresh and the toppings are plentiful. The seaweed salad,avacado, crab meat and orange salmon eggs are included. Other places you have to pay $1-$2 extra/topping. one of the toppings is shredded fuji apple and it really adds a kick to the whole bowl. Impressive!! Will definitely come back every month! Loved my bowl! Great little spot in Milpitas for poki. Went during lunch on a Friday and it was very busy but the line went quickly. The people working there were fast but also friendly. Lots of topping and sauce options - avocado is free! The regular bowl which includes 3 scoops of fish was just the right amount of food. Great, large portions of quality poke for a reasonable price! I had a salad with 4 kind of fish with tobiko, seaweed and avocado, my husband had pretty much the same with rice. Both tasted great! Also, try the tobiko green tea ice cream. read more

Went for lunch, not overly crowded on a Saturday, which was nice. Plenty of parking nearby. The options for building your own bowls were plentiful, especially with their proteins. Definitely my favorite out of all the poke spots in the bay! They have generous portion sizes and have a variety of toppings. They have more choices of protein than any other poke place I've been to. update from most recent visit: Changed rating from 4 to 3 because... 1. Sushi rice was hard (sushi rice should not be al dente). 2. Saw 2 flies - Food behind the counter are exposed. With no covers, I can only imagine how many times these flies land on them - especially raw fish. ============ I have to say their food is quite good. Lunch for 2 average tab = $30 + tip. I really didn't enjoy the first time as much because putting sauce (e.g. spicy mayo) in addition to the house sauce, on top of already seasoned sushi rice made it really heavy and pungent - couldn't enjoy the subtle taste of poki. I now skip extra sauce and most other toppings and it is much better. Quality seems good... although I do wonder how long their fish sits out. read more

They have a pretty standard selection of fish and condiments. My typical order is half salad/half rice, with 3 scoops of tuna and all the condiments with house sauce and spicy mayo. There poke was ok for my opinion, when i eat seafood i like to taste it and but not frozen fresh cuz after frozen the food still only has 60% of the freshness. Therefore, rice is the main ingredient in poke bowl also but their rice is dried here, maybe i came in a wrong time. read more

Pretty good, seems like slightly smaller portions - high quality, fresh and yummy. The store is clean and open, but a bit sparse. Nice toppings but fewer sauce selections.
