Came here with my partner during our lunch hour on a Monday. There was plenty of parking as it's in a large plaza with numerous other businesses. The inside is small, with about 4 2-person tables. The ambiance is bright and inviting. One of the employees greeted us immediately. Both employees who ended up helping us were very friendly. I decided to get a regular bowl. I tried their new Trinity tuna and decided to get it because it was delicious. For the base, I got their cilantro rice. I got spicy crab mix, spicy soy sauce, corn, edamame, cucumber, green onions, seaweed salad, crispy onions, crispy garlic, nori, sesame seeds, wasabi cream, and spicy mayo. It was a great size bowl and worth the price. Something to note is that unlike other poke spots, the toppings are not unlimited and are capped depending on the size of bowl you order. But all the ingredients were extremely fresh and everything tasted great. I was able to finish the whole bowl but I did slow down at the end. Will definitely be back to get the same exact bowl too!

The place seems fast-foodie and not the "fresh poke-style" you'd expect. We're in SoCal, do better. We ordered a large and it was so saucy! Without adding anything extra. Very tart and the rice was hard. Super disappointing. Leaving behind more than half a plate sucks!

Phenomenal Poke! This joint shares parking with other businesses but finding a spot was pretty manageable around lunch time on a Friday. There was practically no one here so I was in and out with regular bowl within 5 minutes or so! There are some tables inside and none outside. The staff seemed real chill, informative and quick! I liked all the ingredients Pokitomik offers. I try to get as creative as possible and have a good blend of citrus, sesame, umami, spicy, crunchy, and creamy. Some of my favorite components were the masago,furikake, spicy mayo, and it's unique hot Cheetos crumbs. The portion size is pretty generous.

Probably the worst poke I've ever had. Nothing was fresh, the cilantro was black and had a rotten taste. This was the lunch I ordered during my 12 hour shift. I couldn't even finish it I also ordered a Thai ice tea , it tasted like milky water. I threw it away Don't eat here. Super disappointing read more

Found this place on door dash. It traveled very well to the house. Was delicious. My daughter come home and we wanted Poke bowls so I said let's go to this place and try it. The owner is friendly and gave my daughter GREAT recommendations. This has become one of my favorite spots to go for poke bowls. They also do burritos, and tacos. Delicious every time we have been there. He has a couple unique Tunas that are homemade or made the same way they do in Hawaii. The restaurant is always clean but there are no tables to eat inside. Which has been fine for us as we take it home. I would highly recommend this place if you want stellar poke bowls. I will add pictures next time we do. read more

Tried this place for the first time today. My new favorite in the area for sure. The tuna is fresh and all the other ingredients were no different. They are generous with the portions of everything. Poke is my favorite kind of food and this place is at the top of my list for the area. I wish they set tables out for dine-in but that's my only complaint. I absolutely loved this place! Since it was our first time, the owner was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu and even was generous to taste some of the fish. The freshness of the fish was impressive, which is the most important part of any bowl of course, and the variety of options was great. I was especially excited to find poke burritos (the Hot Cheetos version is a rare find and so good!) and the tacos were incredible. I only ordered one but immediately wished I'd gotten more. Pickup was super fast, staff I interacted with was super friendly, clean interior; all good stuff. But something was off about the ingredients. The rice was not seasoned, other poke places I have been have had a kind of sushi rice seasoning but this rice had weird pockets of it having a vinegar flavor and a tang that was a worrisome one. The edamame also had a weird... almost sour flavor that's about to go bad. I know I made a make your own bowl, and flavor combos would be my bad, but I get the same thing at every poke place and something here just felt off. That being said, I think it could and would be all fixed with sauce. I have a soy allergy, so I cannot partake, but I can get by with the rice being seasoned. Middle of the road for me. I'm sure if I ordered one of their fun curated bowls I would have had a better outing, but with having food allergies, I have a limited menu. Portion size is nice, easy parking. read more

The food is amazing but the service is a stellar aspect of its own. I was having a horrible day at work when I came in here. Sam immediately turned my day around and put a smile on my face. Really really good! I ordered this on DoorDash and it was so unbelievably tasty. The staff also got all the toppings on our bowls correct and I swear every time I order on a delivery app, the toppings are always missed but not here! We were so happy. The fish quality is really good and they give a good amount of fish which is hard to find at poke spots nowadays! I've been in once too since and it's a Cute spot and great location! Def try it. What a find!! Was introduced to Pokitomik recently and so grateful! The sushi is so fresh marinade choices. The topping choices are excellent - edamame and mango being my favs. Spicy mayo perfect on top. A small bowl is less than a McDonalds meal deal and soooo much better for me!! I always enjoy my poke bowls at Pokitomik! The quality of the fish and ingredients are fresh. I love the variety of sauces and toppings that they have which makes your poke bowl or burrito very customizable to your preferences. I particularly enjoy the mango yuzu and garlic ponzu sauces. You can never go wrong at Pokitomik. The sweet salmon and trinity tuna are SO GOOD! I've been coming here since the day they opened and it's been wonderful to see the evolution of the offerings. I love that they have tempura shrimp and miso soup now! Everyone that works there is kind and accommodating and the music is always fun. First over all the staff was amazing they where very patient with me, I had mentioned it was my first time thereI wasn't expecting to be blown away, but this sushi poke bowl completely reset my standards. From the first glance, it was a work of art. Vibrant cubes of impossibly fresh fish--buttery salmon, rich tuna sat on a perfectly seasoned bed of rice that was just the right balance of warm and slightly vinegared with loaded side's Every ingredient looked intentional, like it had a purpose beyond just filling the bowl. Then came the first bite. The fish practically melted, clean and delicate, while the rice grounded everything with subtle sweetness. The toppings took it to another level crisp cucumber, a pop of tangy pickled ginger, and just enough seaweed to bring in that ocean depth. The food here is very good. Today my order was completely wrong. Clearly they mixed up the orders which happens but when I called I was asked to hold and no one ever came back on line. Waited for 5min and gave up. Guess maybe I expected better customer service. Ordered through DoorDash and maybe they were overwhelmed but either way I got the wrong thing and didn't eat most of it because it had things on there that I would never want. Customer service is key with these businesses. Today was not a good impression. read more

With the growth and popularity for poke, I walked in here by chance and have found my favorite poke bowl place. Having grown up in Hawaii with expectations of ahi, sashimi, poke, I finally found a place that has it here! Salmon, ahi, shrimp are all exceptionally fresh and cut to perfect size as I like it. Tofu as a protein option was new for me but I get it now in every bowl. 5-stars for sure! read more

Not sure if it was the end of their day and they ran out of fish, or what....but, I just got my door dash order and had maybe 3 chunks of albacore, didn't see any salmon and had a tiny scoop of tuna. Basically, paid 50 Dollars for 2 orders of rice. Unacceptable! read more

Might be my new favorite poke place in the area. I love their wide selections of toppings and crunchies and option size! I got a regular size bowl and can barely finish half by myself. My husband got the hot Cheetos sushi burrito with sweet salmon and spicy tuna (you can't go wrong with sweet and spicy) and it turned out so good. I like that you can choose tofu as one of the protein options as well. Always love some tofu in my poke bowl. We went on a Tuesday night and didn't have to wait long at all. The guy who made our orders was super friendly and helpful. He gave some great recommendations. Overall love this place and can't wait to come back for more. read more

My wife got the Hawaiian Poke Salad, and I got the Muzen Sashimi Roll. They tasted fine but portion was on the smaller side. My sashimi roll was basically a partially deconstructed spicy tuna roll with sashimi pieces on the side instead of on top of the roll. The restaurant itself is packed, loud, and cramped. The tables are tiny, and there are not many of them, so it is hardly a pleasant dinner experience. To me, this place feels more driven by hype, social media, and people following the crowd than by truly excellent sushi. I wanted to like it, but based on this visit, I would not go back.

We started off with the tempura cauliflower as a starter and it was AMAZING! I typically don't like tempura but it was only very lightly breaded and seasoned sooo well. It gave it a delicious crunch with a perfectly cooked soft interior. We shared the sunset and poke rolls which were delicious, and got several nigiri pieces which all absolutely melted in our mouths. Stephanie was a fantastic waitress! She made several recommendations about the "additions" to put on the nigiri pieces - house made soy sauce, garlic ponzu, and lime zest. She even spoke up and offered an alternative suggestion to what we initially asked for telling us what the truly best pairings were for each fish. We SO appreciated her knowledge and care to make it the best experience for us! Q Sushi will become a staple whenever I'm back visiting the Thousand Oaks area!

For a moment we had the feeling that the evening would be great. The place looked very clean and even a little bit glamorous, so we thought we had chosen a really good spot. Unfortunately, our impressions changed as soon as we started ordering. We ordered a salad, a sushi roll, and monkfish liver. The monkfish liver tasted so "authentic" that it felt like it had just been taken straight out of a can. It definitely did not taste like something that had been prepared in that kitchen. From the beginning to the end of our visit, we never received water. When we asked for wasabi and ginger, the waitress told us that they would bring it when the sushi arrived. We repeated our request for ginger, but the answer was exactly the same. When the roll finally arrived, it looked like someone might have started eating it yesterday and they simply decided to give it another chance today. It wasn't really sliced so much as it was spread across the plate. On the very edge of the plate there was a tiny bit of ginger and a tiny bit of wasabi. Both looked like they might have been borrowed from someone else's plate. When I looked at the waitress questioningly, she explained that if we wanted more wasabi and ginger, we could pay extra and they would bring more. I checked the rating later and somehow it has four stars. I'm giving it two stars -- and only because the sushi chef was very polite when we arrived and the place was clean inside.

There is about 10 to 15 tables inside with different amounts of seating and since it was just my boyfriend and I and the lady gave us the choice to sit wherever then we chose a table with two seats but, had us move to the next one because she said that the two seat ones were for single people, especially because it was lunchtime. She refused to let us sit at the two person table ‍. We got several menus and a pencil with an ordering paper. She took our drink order and we started to explore the vast menu and it all looked great! (I love when they have pictures on the menu apart from descriptions) After she brought us waters, I asked her if the special menu was considered the happy hour menu and she said it's not happy hour yet and I said yes it is 1 o'clock and she looked at my boyfriends clock on his phone and apologized and brought the happy hour menu. I included the receipt so you can see that 4/5 rolls were happy hour pricing. The sushi chefs were 2 Hispanic men and the reason why I mention this was because I feel like most of my rolls had this "chili powder" that resembled Tajin on my rolls and that's what they called "spicy" half my rolls were supposed to be spicy tuna but the tuna itself was not spicy they just had this Tajin-like powder on top and to me it wasn't spicy at all and I also felt like it made those 2/3 rolls taste bland. My bf loves deep fried rolls so he opted to try the magic mtn and he loved it and I think I enjoyed the spider roll the most. Even the spicy tuna on the crispy rice was just regular tuna with no spice. We still thought it tasted good but we will maybe give it another try with different rolls next time. They have a punch card if you spend $50+ after I think 10 you get a free speciality roll. The chefs gave us a parting remark and we thanked them upon leaving for lunch. Our server was a little more cold but kudos to her for handling the whole restaurant by herself in an efficient manner as our food came out quick and we got water refills and she checked in on us while serving 5/6 other tables all by herself.

They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. And trust me, every time I come here with my kids, They are "Like a Bull at a Gate" trying to get to the front of the line to place their order for their favorite flavor of Ice Cream. My first thought, slow your roll kids. Dinner first, then we can discuss Dessert. Fast forward to when we get our food.... Some of what I'm about to say is TRUE, but the rest may or may not be "Bull$h1t" that I just made up.... No need to "Have a Cow", cause here it is.... Little Calf Creamery and Cafe is a fun little local shop in Thousand Oaks that serves up delicious Ice Cream with some familiar flavors and also some flavors that will spark your interest... -Moorpark Road (their take on Rocky Road) -Roasted Coffee!! -Witches Brew...Spooky!! In addition to their Ice Cream, they've got lunch and dinner covered so you can take a break from the kitchen... And doing the dishes for that matter! Last visit, the favorite food item rated by the kids and by me.... Their Kids menu Chicken Tenders and Fry Basket! All I can say.... "Holy Cow"... The black cherry is my perfect ice cream. Delicious, not too sweet, and FULL of the real cherries inside!!! The real cherries are my absolute favorite part and I've never had a black cherry that came with this many before. Not to mention the small is still HUGE and for only $7!! The flavor of the actual ice cream is perfect and I like that there's NOTHING else, no chocolate chip, no "ribbon" of cherry, and no mix of vanilla. I never thought it was possible for me to have an absolute favorite ice cream. I have been back many times since and haven't tried any of the other flavors. I've tried the black cherry on the cake cone and sugar cone. I'll probably get it in a dish! Probably the waffle bowl too! I will keep coming back!!! I haven't been to any other location, but this one is great. Convenient location for me and plenty of parking in the Oaks mall area. Right next to AMC so I can grab an ice cream before a movie. The service has always been so friendly and efficient! There isn't much seating around but that's okay because I eat it so quick. I visit this location every week. I have a severe salmon allergy and it's hard for me to find a place that serves poke where I won't possibly have a reaction. I found my place at this location for sure! The employees (especially Alexa) take such unbelievable care to ensure there is no cross-contamination.
