The food is awesome. However, the drive thru window experience was terrible and my order was wrong. I asked for yucca pieces and got french fries with my chicken nuggets. We've been buying family meals and we like the food specially the yuca. It's always fresh and crispy. I was craving pollo camperos food and their yuca and we decided to buy for dinner. The chicken was good but the yucca looked pale, not crispy nor fresh. I don't understand why all food joints have to lose the quality of the food as time goes by. I've noticed this in several food places and I get disappointed and stop eating there because I'm afraid I'll be paying for something that is not worth it. Pollo Campero is a South American fried chicken fast food restaurant chain and this is the 2nd location in Las Vegas. It specializes in fried chicken but also has chicken tenders, grilled chicken and empanadas available. Ambiance: Very clean and workers are attentive and come around to the tables to ask if you need anything else for your meal. You order your food at the counter and they will bring you your food. Weight time varies but it's fairly quick. Food: Pretty decent. Better than most fast food chicken. Have tried most of everything; fried chicken, grilled chicken, tenders, chicken bites (camperitos), and empanadas. Also have tried all the sides. Their chicken is unbelievably moist. Grilled chicken is delectably seasoned and comes with a slice of lime to squeeze on it. Tenders/camperitos would probably not order again. The most common sides I order are either the cole slaw (if trying to be low carb) or the fries/yucca fries. Price: Probably slightly more expensive than KFC or Popeyes however the quality is worth it. Recommendations: Would highly recommend ordering the empanadas. They are fried and filled with cheese, peppers, and chicken. They are accompanied by their Campero sauce which is a mayo based dipping sauce similar to "fry sauce". If they forget to give you the sauce, definitely ask for it as it's good to use on sides as well such as their French fries and yucca fries. read more

This was only my second visit and I was told they were out of their signature "Campero sauce" as well as their baked chicken. The chicken itself is good. By far the best tasting chicken I've ever had. Light crispy flavor and not overly breaded or greasy! Must eat it fresh not left over. I got both crispy chicken and grilled. This location recently opened just a few weeks ago. I used to live in Central America when I was younger and remember loving the chicken here, specifically the citrus grilled chicken. I went for the first time last week to try it out and was so disappointed when they were out of the citrus grilled chicken at about 8:00pm in the evening. Went again just tonight with my family at 7:00pm and again they were saying they were completely out of the citrus grilled chicken again!!! How do you run out of your signature item during the peak of dinner time for customers??? Seriously? This is the sign of a very poorly run establishment. I probably will not go back again. Went here when it first opened so it was a tad busy, but the food was fresh, hot, and delish. The chicken was great. The rice was great. The yuca sticks were good. The empanadas were delish! It was all around just really good, really fresh "fast food" I think this place is actually better than some of its competitors but.. that's just my opinion. Some of the workers weren't so friendly, but some were quite friendly, so it worked out. They actually serve you and pick up your plates when you're done, so it's fancy fast food. My first time here was 3 days after opening. I went through the drive thru. I ordered Grilled Chicken.Our 2 sides were Yucca and Rice and then I ordered french fries as well. I should have checked the bag before I left the window. When I got home, I found the whole order was wrong. I took it back and they fixed it. I was very annoyed but didnt want to review them at that time because any new business can have a rough start. Today is black friday. I've worked all day, traffic is awful and I dont want to cook. I decide to give them another try. I went through the drive thru again. No waiting. I ordered only the grilled chicken, no sides. I asked the girl at the window to check it before I leave, she did. The Chicken was so flavorful and delicious Im certain I'll be bringing that home again. Ive had a few of the sides and they are ok but we really liked the chicken the best. We love both their fried and grilled chicken and get a mix of both whenever we go there. The yucca fries are a nice change of pace for a side, and even my picky husband loves them. Food is tasty. Service was not good. Placed an online order for pick up at 3:30 pm. I arrive at 3:30 pm. They tell me they cook to order. It should have been cooked to order already for pick up at 3:30 pm. Whatever. Luckily, I'm not in a rush. Later another lady probably the manager comes and offer me a drink. I appreciated the gesture but I didn't accept her offer though. I'm pretty sure they didn't start my order until I got there. I received my items at 3:40. Ten minutes late. There was no point to place the online order besides entering the coupon code. I look into my bag. There is one box and two little aluminum foil bags. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches & 2 empanadas. I think they forgot a sandwich. I open up the box. It's empanadas in the box. I open up the aluminum foil bags. There are sandwiches in there. I'm pretty sure it should be empanadas in the aluminum foil type bags to keep the texture of the crust. The buns on the sandwiches became soggy in the aluminum foil bags. The sandwiches should have been in the cardboard boxes while the empanadas should have been in the aluminum foil bags. All the big name fast food burger chains put their burgers in the boxes. read more
