What I got was sautéed baby shrimp, iceberg lettuce in a thousand island type dressing and some watery salsa in cold corn tortillas. No cheese or guacamole. Overall, the food was all very bland and overpriced in my opinion. We wanted to try a new place and my parents love Mexican food. The people were lovely and they tried really hard to understand my order. I wish the food had been better.

Since I was a little girl I love the Pollo Campero, and a long time ago I ate it the last time (six years). This was my first visit to a Pollo Campero in the U.S. and the experience has been pretty good although I must admit that the comments I had heard like "not the same," were true. It's a little bit different from the "Original" of my country, but, very similar. However, the service was quite efficient and although I criticize the cashiers and waitresses speak much more Spanish than English (maybe it is normal) but there are many American clients who do not understand any Spanish word, I must also congratulate you for bringing our taste Campero to Virginia. My order was to go but I saw several families enjoying a delicious dinner in the Restaurant and I must add that the environment is very familiar, very clean and the employees are very friendly. Definitely I'll return for my little chicken Capero when I have another chance. ;) read more

My favorite Latin food place when I'm going shopping. Even though it's technically fast food - in that you receive it quickly - the food is surprisingly better than the typical fast food around, which makes it one of our top lunch picks. I don't have much experience with Latin food, but everything on their menu seems authentic and well made. And most important it's just tasty and satisfying! read more
