I have been to several Apollo Regios and by far this one is the best one the food taste better and the customer service on point. Ordered Nachos through Postmates and was honestly blown away with the quality. Even after delivery, the chips were still crispy and they were generous with the meat and portion size. Also they season the chips with a spice mix which was a nice addition. Definitely recommend sticking to chicken, but the al pastor was also really solid too. First, the good news: El Pollo Regio is pretty consistent, product-wise, from location to location. On many a Sunday in other cities, I'd hit the drive-through here for a mound of Mexican style chicken, some sides, and just a touch of old Mexico as everything got piled into a giant plastic bag and I moved on down the road to dinner. Second, the less good news: come here any time that is remotely busy and expect a hot mess of traffic challenges: there's clearly no one minding the store on how folks get in and out of here, and even if you are, as in my case, compelled to make a special trip over, it makes it really tough to imagine a trip back when there's such universal panic in the parking lot. Which sounds like an album title. I digress. Ultimately, I really love the chicken and sides that these guys provide and I feel like I'd stop at any of em given that consistency. But it's the little to no consideration for the rest of their customer experience (and who knows, maybe that doesn't matter to some people) that challenges me. I have hope, El Pollo Regio. Look, I'm not sure if I was hungry or if the food was actually that dang good but whatever the case may be, I enjoyed. I ordered the half chicken with two sides and it was a nice meal that turned into enough leftover for two more meals. The chicken was moist and delicious but it was something about them darn beans that were the absolute bomb! The were seasoned perfectly and quite delicious. Great grilled chicken but if you order anything other than chicken pieces such as chicken burrito or quesadilla you got a choking hazard for children since the chopped chicken is loaded with bone fragments. The good- the chicken is ferosh. Love the chicken. So juicy and great prices. Equally good is the pistachio green creamy salsa. The bad - beans are over cooked. This isnt my first time here nor is it the first time that we've had issues with the food and service. My wife had to send her food back 3 times with an incomplete order! She ordered the Flautas and the first plate was made to go for an eat in order. When they corrected the plate the second time it didnt have the avacado. The third time that they tried to correct it the brought it out without the sour cream this time! The staff always looks confused Like thier lost. After finally having to have the manager correct the order we got fed up and left. Stopped by earlier yesterday. The chicken burrito was delicious. The flavor of the chicken is real tasty. The spicy green salsa is amazing too. This is a great place to have grilled chicken. It tastes authentic and the ingredients are fresh! They've added better seating areas and is not much of a struggle to eat.
