1/4 of white chicken, and it was dry and poor quality.

I ordered the 1/2 dark meat chicken dinner with black beans and white rice and a side of plantains. I received 1/4 white dry poor quality chicken. Beans and rice, plantains was okay. My receipt shows I paid for a 1/2 dark meat chicken dinner.

    Cuban Sandwich

I had high hopes for this fast casual Cuban food chain. But was underwhelmed, Cuban sandwich was very bland and steak bowl had little flavor even with all the toppings. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Prices seemed decent.

Tropical Trio with side orders of Sweet Plantains

Had: tropical trio ; Side sweet plantains Most yelpers are always hating on Pollo....this one has low rating but nothing compared to other Pollo. To make up for the haters 5*. Plus every Pollo I have been to are loaded with Cubans..... So don't understand the disconnect. Split an entree with spouce. The chicken was a little dry but everything else good. Of course I appreciate anything I can have since there are no Pollo in my home area.

It's been five years since I've been here and it's taste exactly the same. I got the 1/4 chicken, mac n cheese, plantain and my son got a Cuban sandwich. Everything was delicious. Nice and clean restaurant with plenty of space to eat. Nice staff. Until next time, I will miss you

Avocado Cilantro TropiChop® & Sweet Plantains

Food was very bland, I was excited for Cuban spices and seasonings. Rice was overcooked. The avocado on my Avocado Cilantro TropiChop® seemed as though it had been previously frozen, the texture was strange. Everyone said the chicken was cooked very well. They forgot a few things on our order, we ordered like 5 different types of sauce and only got the garlic cilantro. I probably wouldn't go back because nothing was very tasty and the orders were wrong.

I order the coconut shrimp and this is what I came home to. Under cook and soggy.

Horrible quality of food. I called and was on hold for 20 mins yo speak to someone. No one ever picked up

Their fried chicken is the best I've ever had, and the spice levels are actually legit. But my favorite thing on the menu is the peri peri chicken. The peri peri chicken is CRAZY good. It's a South African-style grilled chicken served with fries, and I always get the corn ribs on the side too. The chicken sits on top of a tortilla, which I use to soak up all the juices and eat with the chicken. Even though it's grilled, it's unbelievably moist every single time. It's packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and ridiculously juicy. I seriously cannot get enough of it, and I HIGHLY recommend everyone try it. If it's not the best grilled chicken in Tampa, it's definitely one of the best. And don't skip the sauces. The ranch, blue cheese, and garlic sauce are my favorites, but the peri sauce is delicious too!

We tried this place about a year ago, and we had a completely different experience than before. I can honestly say, I won't be back. Not ever. Not even a chance. This place is filthy. The floors, the tables, the bathrooms (the worst I have ever seen), and even the napkin holders. I had immediate regrets upon stepping in based on the lack of cleanliness. The amount of flies swarming was alarming. The service was a zero. The girl working watched us order at the kiosk, the kiosk wouldn't let us pay, we tell her, and she says "oh it doesn't work." So we ordered with her even though she sat around watching us waste our time. I ordered a wing meal, told her I wanted the wings injected, and she said "we don't inject them. I will give you sauce on the side." The menu clearly says they inject wings, social media videos always show it, and also, my last visit there was also injected wings but she would give me no explanation other than "I will give you the sauce on the side." It was bizarre and I couldn't even get a "we don't do that anymore" from her. We ordered a chicken sando. The quality was horrible. Chicken tasted overly processed with bad texture. We also ordered a wing combo. The wings were flavorless. Absolutely flavorless. I ordered medium and there was zero spice. Not even a tad. Apparently they don't inject their wings anymore so there was no flavor in the wings. The quality was pretty bad. Also, the "sauce on the side" that the girl working promised me was not the sauce I ordered, it was the sauce she chose. The whole ordering experience was odd. Definitely seemed like someone who did not care about providing good service, good food, or a sanitary environment. We waited about 25 minutes for our food. About 3 people came in to get pickup orders while we waited and no one else. So we sat and waited while the flys swarmed our heads. The cashier never once tried to come out and clean the filthy tables. She even paused doing nothing for a restroom break, used the filthy restroom, came out with WET hands, and grabbed a napkin from the dusty napkin holder on the filthy table to dry her hands. Then still never wiped down the table caked with food debris. Absolute terrible level of cleanliness, care, and service. It ruined my appetite. After waiting that long, the Mac n cheese was ice cold. 25 minutes for Mac n cheese with a chill to it and no heat. I'm convinced they pulled it out of the refrigerator and forgot to heat it up. This place just had too many misses: a lack of quality, a lack of good service, and a lack of any sanitation standards. Never again. We didn't finish our food. We threw it away outside.

Some places you build up in your head for a while...and then they actually live up to it…read more After wanting to try @everglazeddonuts for a minute, my son and I finally pulled up on a slow Sunday with one goal in mind...chicken and donuts. First impression? Bright, clean, and super inviting. The branding and artwork pop, and the open kitchen window where you can watch everything being made is a power move. That level of transparency always earns points with me. We went all in: #4 Hot Honey Chicken Tender Combo - 3 jumbo tenders tossed in hot honey garlic, fries, and a mini glazed donut #5 Fried Chicken Sandwich Combo - 2 tenders with honey mustard and pickles Plus four Mega Donuts: Peanut Butter Explosion, Caramel & Sea Salt, Cookies & Cream, and Cinnamon Roll Let's start with the donuts... These Mega Donuts are no joke. Thick, loaded, and extremely filling. Every single one hit. The Peanut Butter Explosion and Cookies & Cream stood out, but honestly there wasn't a weak link in the lineup. Now the chicken... The Hot Honey Tenders were juicy, flavorful, and coated in a sauce that had that sweet heat balance. The flavor oddly reminded me of something you'd get from Panda Express, but in the best way possible. The mini glazed donut on the side? Dangerous. Soft, sweet, and the perfect contrast to the tenders. The Chicken Sandwich was just as solid. Same juicy tenders, perfectly balanced with honey mustard and pickles so nothing overpowered the bite. Fries? They were fine. Nothing crazy, nothing bad...just there. Everything came out fresh, and even though there was a small wait (which makes sense for made-to-order food), the staff still apologized. That kind of service doesn't go unnoticed. Final verdict... Great food, great atmosphere, and a concept that actually delivers on both sides of the menu. We'll definitely be back, especially to check out the breakfast menu before 11am and grab some of the donuts we missed when they sold out earlier. This one lived up to the hype!

The restaurant was clean, bright, and had ample seating and parking. I loved everything that I tried. All the food is prepared fresh, so everything came out piping hot. The firecracker chicken bowl was my favorite. I got it medium spice. It was absolutely delicious. It was hot, crispy, spicy, and a touch of sweet. The fried rice was super flavorful, and this is something I typically miss at typical Chinese food restaurants as I cannot eat pork. Of course, no pork in this fried rice. My partner got the sesame chicken, and I presume it was amazing because he wolfed it down so fast, I didn't have to even sneak a bite. The Japanese fried chicken was a 10 out of 10! It was lightly breaded, flavorful, and crispy. This place is a gem. I seriously recommend it and may even go back today. When we were eating, someone came in and ordered a mango matcha. It looked so good that I have to go back to try it.
