Hubby and I had been eyeing Polo's ever since it opened. Honestly, the prices made me think it would be a better value for dinner rather than breakfast. So we came by for an early dinner. The service was very gracious and attentive. Hubby got the salmon, and I ordered the Chicken Madeira. Everything was delicious. The portions were filling but not too large. Went there for a lunch meeting with colleagues as we were told it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is located in a small mall area and the decoration is simple yet nice looking. The waiter was fast to take our order and get our food on the table. I hesitated between the salad and the burger but since I was told it was a great Californian experience I thought the burger was more appropriate. Amazing food and drinks. Clean and modern. Extremely friendly staff. Family owned and run. What more can one ask for? My phone was dead when we went an hour or so ago, so I can't add photos. The paella was delicious and enough for lunch tomorrow. Mark's black and bleu salad with added shrimp was perfect - the steak was medium rare. The clams were YUM! That sauce! Tried Polo's for the first time and was very pleased! I went on a Sunday morning around 10am and there was no waitlist yet. We were seated quickly outside and our waiter was very attentive. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was very sweet. Good but sweet. As for food I ordered the ranchero omelette and it was super good! It came with a side of salsa that I of course dumped on top of it. It wasn't spicy at all (but I have high spice tolerance) and I loved it. The amount of chorizo that was inside my omelette surprised me because usually omelettes are mostly egg and less ingredients but this omelette was very meaty! After we finished our food the restaurant was busier and because of that, our waiter did take a while to come give us the check. Also, if you sit outside the flies that are wandering around for food do become bothersome but just swat them away. I would definitely come back and try something else! read more

I went here a while ago with my dad, and spoke highly of it to my siblings. We decided that we would come on Father's Day since we were in the area. My sister came in to put our name down and was quoted 30minutes for a table. No problem. We went to grab coffee and came back 40minutes later. When I went up to the counter to ask about our table, mentioning that we had not received any text and that it had been over our wait time (I was hoping that our spot was actually held on the list, and that they had our number down correctly)- and I was met with a dry "we have another party ahead of you". Okay. We waited outside with 2 kids and a baby for another 35minutes. We were not met with any apologies, nor any accountability of any sort. We should have left then. We finally got a table inside (after my sister finally complained about the situation and time waited) and were not greeted. There were two water glasses on the table, and those were filled but no one thought to bring the other 5 people glasses. I had to specially ask a buzzer (totally hate doing this, but no one was interested in checking in on us.) It took another 15 or so minutes for us to even be able to order. When we got our bottle of brut for our mimosas every glass was dirty. They came back with more dirty glasses. I had to open our bottle. It took about an hour more to get our food. My sister and I split the chilaquiles which came out cold. We asked for it to be remade. No more than 2 minutes later a "new" plate came out. It was obviously the same plate (same bites taken out) though the manager tried to assure us that it was new. Lol. We decided we would just eat elsewhere. Afterwards, I went to that manager (same woman who dryly told us that there was a party before us) to tell her what went wrong. I like to try to do that as opposed to writing a review but she was SO uninterested. This is bad business and not a place I can see many wanting to come back to. I'd say the chipotle I had after hours of waiting was a better experience and better food. Don't eat here. If I could give a zero star review I would. read more

Great find on our way in from the bay. We stopped here when traffic got bad through the altamont pass to wait it out. Around dinner time. They've got wonderful customer service here. Sat outside to enjoy the patio. A really nice ambiance even with it being in a shopping center. The ahi salad was to die for! The pizza was really good too though it didn't appear like a classic flatbread margarita. Highly recommend for a bite! read more

It was the best I was in Livermore taking care of some business, and at the conclusion of that We decided to look for a good place to eat so I did my Yelp and I found polo's corner and thought why not so we went there and everything was so good. Came here for lunch today and it was very good. We got the chicken sandwich with bacon fresh mozzarella and chipotle aioli. All ingredients were very fresh! The chicken sandwich had another type of sauce on it too. The fries were fresh fresh and portion plentiful. The service was great (it was a Monday at 1pm however) and the staff very friendly. Went with my family for the first time yesterday. It was pretty busy so I assumed breakfast would at least be good but our experience wasn't the best. My daughter ordered a breakfast sandwich and they forgot the avocado. My husband ordered the breakfast special and they forgot the pancake. I reminded them about and when they brought it out it was completely raw in the middle. My pancake was very flat, cold and lacked flavor. The portion of the breakfast potatoes was extremely small and for the prices this experience was not worth it at all...will not return! Food was very mediocre and nothing special. read more

Excellent Saturday night dinner at Polo's! Our server Ion made the night even better. So nice to find a family owned business with such yummy food in our neck of the woods. My husband and I both had the Margarita flight- guava, mango, and jalapeño. Supposedly, the 3 margaritas were equivalent to 1.5 glasses. I don't think so. Each glass was huge. I had the baked clams for my meal. It was excellent. So fresh and flavorful. And the cheesy bread that accompanied it was perfect to dip into the bowl. My husband had the Greek salad and Margarita flatbread. Both were fresh and great as well. One of my sons had the chicken nuggets which was hand breaded and scrumptious. Pleasantly surprised because I wasn't expecting much from a strip mall location not near downtown. Went for lunch and had the crab melt and my brother had a Polo's breakfast (huge pancake, sausage, egg, bacon, country potatoes) and it was REALLY good. A bit more pricey than we were expected (but isn't everything these days?) The service was friendly and prompt (our water was refilled 3 times without asking!) and the outside patio where we ate was spacious. Other diners eating around us were trying it for the first time as well and we all said we would be back. My husband will LOVE that they serve breakfast till 3pm! The apple pie was just ok and not baked there. Ok so finally tried polo corner this morning for breakfast,after all the great reviews my expectations were pretty high. I ordered the polo favorite which is 2 eggs 2 meats hash browns or country potatoes and a pancake. I had bacon and linquisa as my 2 meats both very good and highly recommend eggs were over easy and cooked nicely, I opted for hash browns asked for.crispy and they are the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review hardly crispy at all and a little greasy too bad other than that everything else including the pancake was great,will definitely go back again just won't have hash browns lol. read more

This is one of my favorite spots in Livermore! Extra bonus, you don't have to drive around for 10-15 mins looking for a parking spot like you do when you go downtown!! The menu has recently changed and they have added so many amazing things like The Cowboy burger! By far, one of the best burgers I've ever had. For a healthier meal, my go to is the pear and prosciutto salad with grilled chicken added. The fish tacos are really good too!! On April 26th they will have Live music!!
