This place is packed all the time for good reason! It's the absolute best pub pizza in town! The price is just right, and their pizza is the smaller pub size pizza. Nice and greasy hot out of their oven. Sometimes the wait is long for pizza if there's a lot of people, but I assure you, it's well worth it! If you ask anyone and look at the reviews, its clear that Poopsies has some pretty great pizza but I've gotta say I love their burgers. Few to no toppings depending on what you order but its hands down my favorite burger. Its simple, cheap, and absolutely delicious. So if you go, sure get a pizza and you'll love it, but I promise that you'll be pleasantly surprised by their burgers. Poopsies is always packed and the pizzas can take some time, but they're worth the wait. They don't take reservations and you agent seated by your server. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The place is too cheap to hire a hostess, so you have to seat yourself and pray to God one of the understaffed waitresses notices you. After waiting up to 30 minutes just to get a menu and tell them what you want to drink, you get to wait another up to 15 just to put in your order. After your waitress brings out your food you can guarantee that will be the last of the waitress you will ever see because she will never check on you unless you violently wave her down. Even then, she may just blatantly ignore you when all you want is to ask for your check so you can get out of this hell-hole. The only reason I'm giving it two stars and not one is because the pizza is amazing. The only person who should keep his job here is the chef! First time at Poopsie's today for lunch and was just what we were hoping for! Very relaxed setting and very family friendly!! Waitress was very nice and wasn't bothered by our energetic 3 year old. Old decor but clean inside and reminded us of Alumni Pizza in Quincy that closed and we very much miss. Pizza was soooooo good! We will be back! read more

I love this place. It is an all American Cash only no bs pizza bar. It has a small but great menu that hasn't changed for decades. Have to agree with the folks talking about shopping the frozen isle at the grocer instead. This pizza is pre-frozen and slung through the pizza oven at nuclear hot temps turning the layer of fake cheese into a puddle of grease and creating a cracker hard crust. People give this place big stars because it's a "staple" and they've been brainwashed. I admit, I am a bit brainwashed as well. For some reason, it is delicious. The price and cheap beer helps. But plan on waiting 1hr for food service. Take out is much faster. Pitchers flow down like water giving you ample time to get on a good buzz before the food arrives. read more

Hidden jewel of South Shore fare is bar pizza. Lynwood Cafe in Randolph, Cape Cod Cafe in Brockton & Bridgewater, and Poopsie's is right up there with amazing bar pizza. Crispy, Crispy thin crust. Tons of flavor. Nice, smaller compact slices. And served on paper plates. Never disappoints. I would give Poopsie's 5-stars, but if you're out with the family, this place can be a little bit of a cluster F. Can get insanely busy and they can't keep up. They don't really seem to care and it's like you need a flashlight to eat dinner in the place because of how dark it is. Now, if it's you and a few friends, and you don't mind just sipping some beers and enjoying the decor. Then you'll be all in. I would recommend take out at Poopsie's if you're going to pick up a few pies for the family. read more

very dark....seems more like a bar....we were in the dining part of the restaurant and could hear the foul language.....there were other young kids there ....so I think the language should have been better.....restrooms (ladies) are horrid....you can't even get in one of the stalls....the door hits the toilet when you open it ....I had a toddler with me that needed to use the rest room....I had to leave the stall door open and stand there which blocked the main door going into the room read more

We went on a rainy Sat. evening and sat in the dark dining area. The beer selection stinks. The pizzas are small and we waited 45 minutes for it. These are not traditional Italian style pizzas. I suspect that they are cooked in pans. There is no love put into the food,drinks or decor. read more

I love Poopsie's pizza's and occasionally my cousins and I get together and when they come to my house they want a Poopsie party. The only problem is ordering the pizza. Easily the biggest disgrace of an eatery in all of creation. The service was absolutely awful. Not only did me and a few of my pals wait over 2 hours for a mediocre at best pizza, but we didn't even get refills for our drinks. I also found a rat in my cheese pizza. Poopsies has rats. They should have a sign instructing you to seat yourself...tried to make eye contact with the bartender to ask about this...he knew we were there but he decided to leave us hanging. They have added more tables, so they can really pack them in...they should have invested in a bigger kitchen and more waitstaff. Decided to go here on a Friday night....big mistake. We have been told by a friend that the pizza was good here so we decided to give it a shot. We knew that we might have to wait a while to get a table, but we saw multiple empty tables that weren't cleaned off yet. My fiancé and I were just standing at the door waiting to see if the tables would be cleaned but ten minutes went by and we couldn't get the attention of any of the waitresses so we sat at a dirty table. Someone then came over and cleaned it off and asked us what we wanted for drinks. Then, she walked away....for fifteen minutes we waited. When we finally got our drinks our waitress (with the most annoyed facial expression and voice ) said that it's an hour wait for a pizza...AN HOUR...seriously? Ordered take out last night. Wow. Guy that answered so rude. He basically tried to talk me out of ordering bc it was a 45 minute wait. Ok by me. I was out doing errands and was in no rush. Got there at 7 to pick up and I have a feeling the miserable male bartender was the one that answered the phone. Why an establishment has such a miserable person working for them is beyond me. When I got home I told my wife the story. She is in the industry and asked if the bartender was a large man and if his name was Ed? Didn't know his name But description she gave me was pretty accurate. Said knew this fool from the industry. Told me he cant hold a job and is always fired bc of this attitude. Clearly the same attitude I got last night. Guy has no business tending bar. Who wants to go out to be waited on by a miserable human being?? Miserable! All set getting pizza from there again. Poopsies is a local favorite. It is in Marshfield on Rte 53, in a strip of stores a few doors down from Christmas Tree Shop. When you drive by, the lights in the restaurant are so dim it looks like they were late with their electricity bill. The carpet and old-school wooden paneling have been the same since I started going there when I was a kid in the 80's. Be sure to bring an extra layer in the winter as I think they barely heat the place. The menu is simple: smattering of sandwiches, bar room pizza & domestic beer. The pizza may look underwhelming but it is sooo good! They have a decent variety of pizza toppings- chorizo is pretty tasty! Toppings are all fresh. Beware: they only take cash but there is an ATM machine onsite. Also, service is slow and many nights when you try to order pizza, someone already placed a huge order ahead so they will warn you that you won't be able to place an order until after 8:00 pm. I can't speak to anything other than the pizza and it is the good, old fashioned kind. Don't come here looking for fig and prosciutto pizza or any new fangled type of pizza. read more
