Very good, soft donuts/kolache. It's not too sweet. Cronuts are really good but it's pricey.

One of my favorite donut joints at the moment. Icing to dough ratio is on point. Apple fritter is good; a little bit crispy and not too oily. The cronuts are an equal blend of donut and croissant compared to other places I've tried, where some places tend to err more croissanty or donutty. The cronut flavors are also pretty unique with crème brûlée cronut being my favorite. I will say I am not a fan of the braided kolache because I feel like there is too much dough to hot dog. Service is friendly and there's always parking out front. I'd recommend going early (before 9am) to have the best selection. There is a table inside if you wish to eat there, but it's mainly for takeout. Owners are very friendly.

I came around closing time and they only had 9 glazed donuts left, so the owner offered to do half and half of glazed and chocolate donuts. The owner was so sweet, she told me how to heat up the kolaches at home. The kolaches were great - buttery and creamy, sweet and salty. The cronuts were the best I've ever had. They were so flaky and not too sweet, and she put donut holes in for free. The owner is so sweet and I will definitely be coming again.

Really good donuts! Have been here a couple times now, it is my go-to spot for donuts now. Reasonably priced, it's about $13 for a dozen donuts and a bag of donut holes. The donuts are very light and fluffy, everyone loves them at the office!

Got to try their Cronuts and bought some donuts for my niece. The creme brulee cronut was good and the creme inside was amazing. The glazed cronut was also good. The donut with maple glaze and bacon smells so good. I did not get to try it because i gave them to my niece. The owner, is super friendly and helpful. I will be back to try that maple donut with bacon.

Had the sausage croissant and the maple bacon cronut. I would recommend the cronuts from this place! The cronuts are huge, and the specific maple frosting and bacon used was better than your average fare. I heat mine up in an air fryer for 1-2 minutes, and it's perfect. I agree with the other reviews in that a clearly visible price chart would be helpful. My order for a cronut and a croissant sausage was around $13 for reference. Nevertheless, the ladies who run this place are super nice and welcoming!

This place has the most amazing and beautiful donuts. After speaking with the owners they explained that it takes at least 2 days to make the cronut donuts! And let me tell you they are amazing! Such a high quality donut shop! The owner wakes up at 1am so that all the donuts are fresh! You can taste to differences!

This place located in the same lot as the Starbucks and is all the way in the back left corner area next to the chicken place. Kinda behind the decommissioned gas station. The decorative cronuts here are definitely what sets them apart from the numerous donut shops around town. But they also have several other interesting donuts and a large variety. And I do like their sausage rolls/hotdog buns and premade sandwiches. Both the man and lady behind the counter are very nice. Appreciate the freebies we sometimes get. I prefer this spot over others.

Stumbled across this shop on my way to work. I stopped in for about 3 dozen donuts. I ordered an assortment for donuts and they were all a hit with my co-workers and a marketing run I made. I love that they have a halal chicken sausage roll, and it's delicious!! The owners are very nice and friendly. They gave me a munch of donut holes along with my order at no charge. Definitely my new go to stop for breakfast treats!

Their cronuts melt in your mouth in buttery goodness. A bit high for donuts IMO but a nice treat occasionally.

Fortunately, if you're not dining in, ordering from the to-go line is very quick, and there's even a comfy seating area in the front where you can enjoy your food and beverages. In addition to a double shot espresso I ordered, I also got a broccoli mac and cheese croissant. The croissant was expensive ($7.50), but it's hearty enough to be a meal. I wasn't offered an option to toast up the pastry, but I didn't particularly mind the coldness of the mac and cheese component of the pastry. The croissant surrounding the filling was flakey with nicely laminated layers. Meanwhile, the filling was satisfyingly salty and rich. Although the pastry was tasty, it's probably something I would only try once -- rather than something I would get regularly, due to how heavy the pastry ate. Overall, if you're looking for skillfully prepared, creative pastries, La Casita Bakeshop definitely fits the bill.

The one thing that freaked me out was I did see a bad bug in the place and notified the cashier. They were able to squash it but it did ruin my appetite a bit. I know these things happen but I hope that it isn't a bigger problem. My friend to go'd a delicious cake that was seasonal and it was beautiful and delicious. She got another dessert that was a bit heavy for our liking that was also seasonal but the flavors were still good.

Inside has lots of sitting areas, but it does get filled fast with people who want to relax and study or read a quiet book to themselves. There's seasonal drinks are delicious, but I stick to my tried and true- Beez Kneez I had a little modification of a little extra honey, and a few splashes of heavy cream. Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.
