App did not offer a spot to put in a reward and there was no double confirmation like most food apps. I contacted customer service on the app right away and said I cannot cancel the order. I called the shop 5 times and all 5 times it went to voicemail, so I could not inform them. Although I put the pickup time later, the food was prepared long before I arrived; plus it took me an extra 15 minutes trying to contact customer service that was never received, so the food ended up cold. At the store itself, the worker told me that they cannot help with app orders and to go through the app-- but as we know, the app already said it won't refund. So I filed a dispute with my credit card company. It's funny, because if you look in the app, I can guarantee you cannot find it, as it seems intentionally tucked away in the menu. My wife placed a mobile pickup order for over $60 at this Popeyes. When we arrived, we went through the drive-thru to pick it up. At first, they couldn't even find the order. Then, after finally locating it, they told us it had already been picked up by someone else for delivery. We went inside to speak with the manager, who appeared very young and inexperienced. He repeated the same thing -- that the order had already been picked up by "a guy." My wife placed the order herself and obviously has never seen a man with her same name picking up her food. What frustrated us most was how the staff acted like this was somehow our fault instead of taking responsibility for their mistake. The manager claimed the person who picked it up had "confirmation," but after what I witnessed inside the restaurant, I seriously doubt that. While waiting, I noticed a screen displaying customer names and online orders. A woman walked in right before me, heard her name called, and was handed her order without anyone verifying anything. The same thing happened with another customer. No ID check, no order confirmation, nothing. Anyone could easily look at that screen, say a name, and walk out with someone else's food. The manager (Nico) told my wife to go online for a refund. Since the order showed as "picked up," the best they offered was a $20 gift card -- even though we lost over $60 because of their mistake. To make matters worse, they said they would not remake the order because it was over $50. After this happened, my wife left a review online. The owner, Mr. Beshay, responded saying they would speak with staff to prevent this from happening again. That's fine, but how about making this right for us affected? Your employees handed our family's food to the wrong person with no proper verification. Check your cameras. I was inside shortly after 6 PM wearing gray shorts, a black tank top, and a black hat. My wife walked in shortly after me. You should be able to see exactly who picked up our order before we came inside. Because of your staff's negligence, money was wasted and food was taken away from my kids. At the very least, this situation deserves either a full refund or the order to be remade. As for confirmations of your order placed online is a receipt which is sent to the email on your account which I've attached in a photos. No person had access to this. Telling me the manager was lying to my face that the guy who picked it up showed him something. This was also my review on Google. I sat in the drive-thru for quite a while, and then they asked me to pull around to the front to wait for my order. Unfortunately, the wait was even longer there. When they finally brought the food out, they forgot my drink. The employee said they'd go grab it, but never came back, so I just left. Customer service was pretty disappointing overall. We ordered the 14 piece bone in spicy family meal with the two large sides. We get home, and we have 14 tenders. I call and the lady that answered the phone wasn't the nicest, she told me to bring it back and they'll replace it, no apology. Often times, they're usually SUPER busy and orders tend to get backed up. This time, however, it wasn't all that busy when I went. The wait wasn't long and the service was really good. Be sure to go during a time when they're not crowded -- or you'll end up waiting for a LONG TIME. They have a pretty spacious parking lot and plenty of tables inside. My order got messed up, and I had to swap the rice and beans for the mashed potatoes and gravy that I ordered. No napkins in sight, so you have to ask for them. Casual ambiance with a decent sized dining room. I can totally see this being a regular hang out spot for the teens at Paloma Valley High, so I'd avoid it after school hours, lol. Ordered my food on Popeyes website for this location. Drove to the store, waited in the drive-thru for 22 minutes, only to get to the window and be told my order didn't go through. I presented my digital receipt from the app and I was told there was nothing they could do. This was the first time I have ever gone to Popeyes. I have to say that this was the most disgusting chicken I have ever had. It was extremely dry. I actually had to wait half hour for this crap. There was zero thought put into the drive in design. Management needs to put up some sort of barrier to stop cars from cutting the line and blocking the parking lot. Multiple cars got out of line and I saw 1 person get out of their car to yell at a cutting car. Meanwhile parked cars are blocked in.
