Signature Chicken Combo Pieces included a large and dry breast, undersized drumstick, a tiny overcooked wing, something that resembled a thigh, and red beans and rice as my side. This meal was final confirmation that I don't care for their chicken as it simply tastes like salt with no unique flavor. I am however a fan of their red beans and rice! The included biscuit was pretty parched. SERVICE: Uber Eats took over an hour to deliver this which was just under 5 miles away. I suspect the employees are eating all the bone in chicken and in turn are putting chicken tenders and hope you don't notice till it's to late. Everytime Ive gone to this location, the food is cold, really soggy, & just bad. Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen Tried the Classic Chicken Sandwich to see what all the fuss was about and why people were waiting in line for hours and killing each other when people cut in line. The Classic Chicken Sandwich was actually very good. Nice and thick Chicken patty served warm with a pickle a d special sauce. French Fries were average to good. Ordered the Biscuit to try and since it took so long they actually gave us 3 additional, we specifically asked for honey to go with the biscuits. Honestly this popeyes is so hit or miss you never know what your gonna get. There's times where I've been in and out and other times where i've had to wait 20+ minutes but fortunately they've given me extra food as an accommodation for the wait. So what's the issue? I think it's the staffing, you can clearly tell when there is one cook and a bunch of crew members or when everyone working has a spot , but the cooks can't keep up.
