The chicken (I had real chicken pieces, not tenders) is delicious, hot and crisp, and was worth waiting for them to cook a fresh batch, although it was a looong wait. The fries came directly out from under the heat lamp into my hands and were still cold. I got sides of gravy, which are tiny for $1, but they made the hot, fresh biscuits the best part of my meal. Well, in my opinion, if you have the choice, go to a different Popeyes. The time before last, they didn't give me my ranch, or take the pickles off of my sandwich. And fine, I can deal with that. Last time, they gave me no silverware, or straw. Today, they didn't even give me my drink! A large drink, that I paid for! I was really trying to refrain from leaving a bad review, but I'm a DoorDash driver and I waited 20 minutes for an order. It was a large order so at first, I wasn't too upset about waiting, but the young man at the front counter had no sense of urgency. And as a DoorDash or time is money. Every minute counts. Been looking for a popeye's for a few days now while on the road. The last were "out" of chicken sandwiches. This restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Food arrived fresh and hot. We got two spicy chicken sandwiches. Only awkward thing was the cook came over and grabbed a piece of shrimp or chicken from the area where food was premade in the hot light. Food was good but I'm pretty pissed on how they treat their new hires. She was struggling to put in our order and asked for help; nobody helped her. Then the manager (not sure he was a manager but he was wearing a collared shirt) came around the counter giving her attitude clearly embarrassed/upset her in front of us for struggling. Pros: my kids love this place. We usually get the10 piece family pack. It comes with 10 pieces of chicken, 2 sides, and 5 biscuits. I really like their spicy chicken and mashed potatoes. Kids like the Cajun fries. Service is always really fast and most times accurate. Cons: my only complaint is that they don't have corn my husband and youngest son are obsessed with the stuff. Popeyes is without a doubt one of the most underrated fast food chains there is there chicken is juicy and has never disappointed there sides and sauces are also amazing the wait is very short as well your are in and out When I go here I go all out now I do recommend try this 5 pc chicken strip with mashed potatoes which has some cajun seasonings in it and Cajun rice with is somewhat bland but give it a try. You can order regular, mild, and spicy chicken I recommend the mild but if your a spicy lover like me get spicy. And also they usually give more chicken then you order for example yesterday I order the 5pc and they gave me 8 now I am not complaining at all. Make sure to try all there sauces which includes Mardi Gras mustard, blackened ranch, Cajun barbecue, and many more. Their Cole slaw making machine was broken. The majority of their cash registers were not working. My Son & myself went thru the drive thru 2 nights ago on Thursday night right before 10pm. We didn't realize the dining room was already closed @ 9pm & the drive thru was getting ready to close at 10pm in a couple of minutes until we pulled up & tried to go inside. It was the 1 st time we had ever been there. But we wanted to try them. We ordered 2 of the $5 Big Box specials they were currently running as a promotion. The staff was very courteous, even though they were getting ready to close for the day. I couldn't believe the amazing service we received!!! They made everything fresh for us, without us even asking them to!!! And they gave us several free items to boot in the bag with our food we received! Like extra chicken tenders & fresh Hot biscuits! Plus they also gave us each a free fried cherry pie! The food was really really good everything was! And our order was correct as well!!! They have definitely won us over as customers & have earned our future business!!! I can't praise them & the service we received enough!!! This restaurant sucks. The so called night manager on duty at the Bixby, Oklahoma store sucks in her ability to handle a minor customer complaint. I guess in her dim mind she believes that all people want is a free meal. What people want is good service and if they do not receive that then their meal should be replaced on another day when they can be provided with a meal that is presented without missing items. If you place an order through the drive thru and it is all packaged up, when you arrive home the order should be in the bag as you ordered it. It should be there especially after you have been asked to pull forward and three cars exit while you are still waiting for them to come out with your specific order to the curb where it is quickly given to you and the person quickly walks away. I work hard and spending $15.00 on two chicken orders is not a drop in the bucket even for me. I only asked that she considered replacing one of these meals. I told my son he could eat his meal but I cannot is all good conscious eat something from a place where the interaction was so poor, I feel that I would have a terrible case of enteritis and would be up all night.
