this place is more like a 3.5 out of 5 stars. If you know me, you'll know i'm a soda fiend. I know its so bad for me, but I love soda.... especially cherry coke. I stopped here in the morning, and it was a interesting stop. The two things that stood out were the large metal soda structure in front and the numerous soda bottles glued inside the building. both are definitely good photos ops, during your route 66 trip. Judging from other pictures, if you stop here during the night, the soda bottle outside lights up. obviously, as the name implies, this place has so many soda choices. They group everything in different sections: Root beer, coke, orange, ginger ale, cherry... etc. I think most soda bottles are $2.99 They also sell gas here, but if memory serves me correct, the gas is more expensive than what you'll find in OKC, so if you can make it back to the city, i'd recommend skipping getting gas here. Inside the store, you can order food, but i can't comment since we didn't get food here. There are a lot of other snacks and souvenirs you can buy.

Pops is definitely an iconic stop upon Route 66 that I highly recommend they have a large selection of unique sodas that you might not find everywhere else on top of that an amazing place to see some classic cars. Have a great lunch and just a perfect pitstop along the way. One thing we like to do instead of buying individual sodas we get the six pack and try some random flavors. We've never tried before. Perfect for road trips. You're definitely able to even stop and fill up your gas if you need to get some ice for the road and a few other things so don't feel like it's out of the way when you're traveling it's just one of those places that becomes a favorite family stop One thing it doesn't have much of is seating for a lot of people, but they do typically get that food out pretty quick so you can eat and get back on the road

A childhood favorite which I have visited several times since moving from Oklahoma and it never fails to meet and exceed my fondest memories! The main appeal is of course it's MASSIVE selection or soda and simply stopping for a Pop is worth the visit whether you are on a road trip or live in the area. However, the food is also exceptional with incredible Burgers, amazing shakes, and some of the best home made ranch around! Classic Route 66 diner vibes with a twist that makes it feel like a living memorial to the Americana dinner culture. An absolute must stop and visit anytime you are in the area!

Great selection of sodas. I had family visiting out of town so brought them here. Really enjoyed the outside space in the back.

You know, of course, that the word people use for sweetened carbonated beverages like Coca Cola varies from region to region in the US. On the West Coast and in the Northeastern part of the country, people call these beverages sodas. In most of the Northern states, from Washington to western halves of New York and Pennsylvania the same beverages would be referred to as Pop. In the South, at least from New Mexico through Georgia, the generic term for all varieties of these beverages is Coke. I was born and raised in California, but my family is from Texas. So growing up, I always heard, What kind of Coke do you want? So, when I walked into Pops I said, Damn, that's the most kinds of Coke I've ever seen! The selection here is impressive in depth and breadth. Multiple varieties of most flavors. Even if you move fast it takes a long time to see everything. And you can be 100% sure I was going to see every last bottle before I made my purchase. I was limiting myself to two Cokes and I had to get this right. OK, I knew right off at least one of my choices would be a Root Beer, so I could've went right to the Root Beer section and started choosing. But that's not how I roll. I had to start at one end of the cold case and go door to door, shelf by shelf so I could fully immerse myself in this magnificent Coke experience. It's sort of a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Some of the craziest "pop" flavors you could imagine, and I'm giving you credit for an excellent imagination. But it's the wild kaleidoscope of color that draws you to the cold cases and holds your attention like one of those gigantic industrial electro magnets they use to pick up crushed cars. And after the full Cold Case Experience, there are aisles and aisles of shelves with more choices. And then, after all that, Pops has a terrific selection of candy. I was impressed that they had so many difficult to find candy bars, like 5th Avenue and Zagnut. I mean, when was the last time you saw a Look bar for sale? Or Clark Bars? Pops got 'em! And they have those old timey cube shaped Cinnamon suckers. And those weird square shaped Assorted Flavor Charms. Plus the best selection of Reed's Candies I've ever seen (first time ever seeing Peppermint). I was astonished to see that Pop's only has a 3 1/2 Star rating on Yelp, because this place is so 5 Star to me. I think the current rating is mostly due to shortcomings on the restaurant side of the business. So, yeah, if you like Cokes, Pop, Soda Pop, Sodas or any kind of Soft Drinks, I highly recommend you visit Pops on Route 66. Mikey C says: What kind of Cokes do y'all want?

    Pop, pop and POP!

Delicious Stillwater burger with bacon, crunchy fries, and onion bites. Tasty melty provolone cheese on the Edmund burger, big and juicy mushrooms decorated it out, with sweet potato fries that hit the home run. On top of that they have Rt66 collectables, fresh brewed coffee and like 1000 different flavors of pop. Definitely worth the drive destination!

Hadn't been here in a while so we drove out. Had the dog with us so it was a good spot for her to get out. It was pretty busy today being Labor Day and the big soda bottle out front was drawing all kinds of attn. I went in to grab a couple of sodas. The place was like a zoo. The aisles are tight and people are looking at things so it can be hard to maneuver. They did not have enough registers open. Made it through and got out of there. They do have a full kitchen and eating area which can get crazy too, but looked like most visitors today were doing the soda side

My experience here was one of the worst I've had in a restaurant. We drove over an hour to eat dinner here. When we arrived there was only 3 tables there. The server said she was gonna clean a table under the glass for us and my daughter said she didn't feel comfortable sitting under those glass shelves and bottles so I asked to sit in a booth instead. She said booths are only for 5 ppl or more (even tho the 2 booths occupied had 3 ppl at them and all the other booths were empty) so we sat at the bar. We waited almost 10 minutes for anyone to help us when there was 4 servers and only 3 tables!!! We ordered sodas appetizer and 2 dinners. Sodas came out then our meals but no appetizer until 10 minutes later and the quesadilla and fries were cold and soggy. The food was terrible, cold, overcooked, and when asked if I wanted a Togo box bc we didn't eat hardly any of it i responded with "no thank you it wasn't good" she walked away and brought our ticket. No manager visit no apology just nothing! I will never go back not only were they inhospitable from the beginning but the quality of food and as horrendous! I still tipped almost 30% bc I'm in restaurant management myself. As you can tell from the pic we didn't eat but a few bites. We ended up stopping in Edmond to eat dinner right after leaving here.

Tried the French fries--crispy, golden perfection. Honestly, they tasted like they were handcrafted by a fry whisperer. I've had their burger before, and it's a solid 7/10--good enough to dream about occasionally, but not enough to text back right away. The service? Top-tier. Ashton deserves an award, or at least a high-five. The lighting here is so good it made me question if I need to start a TikTok channel, and the sunset view? Chef's kiss. Perfect for romantic vibes or pretending your life is a movie montage. Oh, and soda lovers? Brace yourselves--you'll go absolutely nuts here. Like, soda-paradise-level nuts. This place is a vibe.

Pops is always a great place to bring visitors. Its iconic pop bottle outside is a Route 66 must visit location. I'll be visiting more sites on Route 66 so that will be fun! The food was good and I chose the Arcadia Burger and I would choose this again on my next visit! I loved the combination of the BBQ sauce, Bacon & Blue Cheese! My wife chose the Fish but she wasn't impressed so I'll leave it at that. My D-I-L choose the Mother Road Burger it not only looked good it tasted good as well! We had a great server, Lily and she was so pleasant and always asking if we needed anything more! This truly is an iconic stop on Route 66 when the many variety of sodas! Not only as decorations but to buy as well.

    Out front

We were seated immediately, which gave us high hopes, especially since the place itself has a really cool vibe! Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't live up to that first impression. We had to flag someone down just to take our order after sitting for quite a while. No one checked in or even acknowledged us for a good chunk of time, which was frustrating. When our waitress finally came over, she seemed rushed and pretty rude--not the kind of service you'd hope for. It took nearly two hours from start to finish, which felt excessive given how simple our order was. The food? Pretty mediocre. My chicken sandwich was wrong, and by the time I got it, I didn't even feel like sending it back because we were so hungry. On the plus side, the shakes were really good--easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, the atmosphere is great, but the service and food don't match it. We won't be returning.

Part gas station, part convenience store, part restaurant. These are just some parts of Pops. Located on Route 66, some reviewers may also label Pops as a "tourist trap." While this may be accurate, I prefer to label it as a tourist attraction. Whether it's a tourist trap or attraction should not matter because Pops is one of the best places to visit in Oklahoma. Pops is known for their soda pops. They have over 500 different varieties to choose from. Only at Pops are you able to buy soda pops that you have never heard of before with brands like Red Ribbons, Henry Weinhard's, Jones, Boots, Dublin, and many more. Not only does it have the varieties, the price is also reasonable. Is it the cheapest? Oh, heck no. Is it expensive? Not really. I paid $19.46 for 6 bottled soda pops. Staffs are very friendly at Pops. I haven't tried the restaurant side, but it was busy, mostly family dining. I love Pops. The place is very trendy. The 66 ft pop bottle outside lights up at night. Good place for family. Seriously, how can anyone not love Pops?

Pop is an interesting place selling pop soda or fritz drink. The entire building display the fritz drink at the glass wall. The colorful fritz drink display beautifully. It is one kind of scene. The pops building is a triangular shape. It is engineering with good architectural aesthetic shape. I got pure cane sugar honey cream soda. It is special. I enjoy bar seat and take a break from my long driving. Overall the pop facility is very nice. Clean restrooms.

That's nice they do that but if you wait in line 25 mins with your menu item in mind but they won't do the halvsie thing it's frustrating. Especially since the sandwiches are mostly all over $14. So then you have to make a split second decision and order something else you sorta wanted but not really. I say that bc I originally wanted a hot sandwich but I can't eat a whole one. When they wouldn't let me do that with the half of a sandwich I decided to try to do that with the Bruce, which was the monthly special turns out I couldn't do that either. All in all it was a great experience and I liked my sandwich. My wife LOVED hers. We will definitely be back!! Wifey tip: order water to drink. They don't have soda on fountain so you pay $4 for bottled stuff you buy at On Cue. Not worth it.

I arrived and was put off a little by the sign that said it was cash only, their card reader was down. This sort of stuff drives me crazy because I am usually going to these type of restaurants as a destination and it took me an hour to get there. I didn't have cash, but luckily the gas station next door has an ATM. So let's just say I went into Mugsy's a little grumpy. I was seated in a nice booth in a clean dining room and placed my order. I ordered the 4M sandwich with onion rings, and I ordered a brisket philly cheesesteak as a to go order that I plan on eating for dinner. Ended up getting the peach fried pie as well. Food came quickly with large portions, especially for the price. The prices are very reasonable for bbq in this day and age. The owner came out and talked with each patron individually and was very welcoming. When he found out I came specifically to eat, he ran into the other room and brought me a couple of mugs and a to go menu to have if I was ever driving through. He was very nice and I enjoyed the conversation. Some might think he's trying a bit too hard, but I thought it was a nice touch. Especially since he seemed very genuine in his excitement to meet everyone. The 4 M sandwich is a 4 meat sandwich with brisket, Pulled pork, bologna, and sausage, on a very sturdy bun. The meat was all good, except the brisket was a little over done. But not really a big deal, as the sandwich was pretty good. I did NOT care for the BBQ sauce (and I LOVE sauce) as it seemed more like ketchup than BB sauce. It wasn't offensive, I just didn't like it as I felt it was rather bland. The onion rings were 10/10, my favorite style. The peach fried pie was probably the best fried pie I've ever had. So tasty. I will definitely be back to Mugsy's to try some other menu items and bring some of the family back some other time. Food 8/10 Service 8/10 Atmosphere and value 9/10
