We love Pops burgers. They are very friendly and are good to their customers. Very fast service and the burgers and fries are amazing!

I had a cheeseburger and fries. The fries are thin but fresh cut. Everything is so good here. Atmosphere is neat and the staff is friendly.

I would give this place negative stars if that was possible. This store is filthy all around, especially the kitchen and back area. No one washes their hands. The pies and meat are prepared on same table. There is standing oil under and behind grill standing almost half an inch. The vents are caked with old oil. No heating or air conditioning in store. Bathrooms are filthy. Thick layer of oil throughout the whole store on the floors. The ceiling leaks by electric outlet's every time it rains. Standing water by side door which electrical power strips are in standing water. Ice cream cooler is full of old ice cream left on bottom and side of freezer. Mug freezer had 2 inch thick ice throughout. Shake cooler leaks and has standing water inside never cleaned. The owner treats employees awful not to mention watches camera all day even while sitting in store. Store owner uses vulgar language while speaking or talking about employees. I would not recommend this place to my enemy. read more

This is my second time here. My first experience was great; thick burger, fair pricing, and friendly staff. Today I went with my husband only to find that my $25 meal was already in poor presentation. My bag had the food shoved in and torn to bits. The fries had zero seasoning, the onion rings thin and greasy (a joke really), and my husbands 'Vroom burger' as big as a McDonalds $1 cheeseburger. I've worked for Branded Burger and I find this unacceptable. The only good part of the meal was my 'Texas Philly.' Will not be returning, extremely disappointed. read more

Very disappointed with the 2 Po Boy sandwiches I got tonight. The size of sandwich has decreased and 3 paper thin pieces of bologna. It would be much better to go up on the price than quality of food. I will give it one more chance since they might have run out of larger sandwich buns and thick cut bologna. Ordered Burger combo with fries and a burger combo with onion rings. Waitred an hour to get food. Both burgers overcooked to the point of no huicy and burnt edges. The fries were okay but oh my gosh...only gave me 8 thin onion rings. Stingy has heck. For 25 dollars I expected much better than Whataburger and it was way short of even that. Not going back. Best burgers in North Texas...that is a laugh. Worst burgers more like it. read more

I love simple burger joints like Pops. Pops is an unpretentious place, small menu, lots of locals and just simple good food. I had a weazer and my husband had a vroom and we both loved them. The onion rings were fantastic. We will definitely be back. I saw a few fried ice creams come out that looked great that would be worth a try. read more

First time here we ordered 2 burgers a Texas Philly, mini corn dogs for my son and an order of fried mushrooms for my mother in law. all came with fries ( we got the crumbs cuz they were nothing but cut ends) and drinks but the root beer was 20cents more, we didn't know that because we called our order in the girl in the front was rude. Burgers were small the Philly was full and good. but I don't think all that was worth almost 60$. The floor was very slippery they didn't have any caution cones or anything to warn you. Flavor of burgers were good. However I was totally disappointed that the burgers were not made as we requested and PAID EXTRA for. I informed one of the servers that my burger (in which I paid extra for) was missing a fried egg. Instead of reconciling the situation and making a quick fried egg so that I can enjoy my meal that I paid $35 for, the cooks tell the waiter to come and check my burger to ensure I am missing an egg. The waiter does that and goes back to confirm. They then SEND ANOTHER person to come confirm that I am missing an egg. After two confirmations, the burger is almost finished. It took 10 minutes to then bring the egg and at the point we have a new fried egg with a completed burger. To add icing on the cake, the fries came out cold, in which we didn't complain. The condiments were not correct and the improper vegetables were put on the burger. All in all, to make such a commotion about a fried egg as if I would lie about what I received is considered horrible service to me. It's almost as if the cooks are entitled to their opinion that they can't make mistakes when preparing again. Pops will never get my service again and I will be sure to make sure my story is voiced on every rating platform there is. read more

I actually liked this place the first time I went. This time it was just awful. It took way too long for the food. They messed up my order. One of the employees found an unused togo box at a table and got mad when the other employee threw it away. Then when she finished sweeping she started helping cook the food without changing her gloves. Then she lied and said she had two pair on. I've heard all the great things about Pops Burger Stand, so today we tried it. Hamburgers were delicious, onion rings fresh and cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the food. But the noise level was overwhelming. We arrived about 11:30am, and it must of been Kiddie Day Care Day. We couldn't hear each other talk. I required 2 beers just to get through this fiasco. I have a 2 drink limit because of giggles. My only other complaint - THE FLOORS ARE STICKY. Yes my shoes stuck to the floor. This could be hazardous if your elderly. Hell, I think I am elderly as I felt stuck! I would return for the food, but would choose to eat outdoors, weather permitting! read more

I recommend trying the root beer which is smooth with just the right amount of foam in a frosty mug. The burgers and fries are what you'd expect from a greasy spoon. I was a little grossed out by the floors and the lack of cleanliness throughout, but it's an old building that is in need of updating. However, it has retro appeal and seems to be a cool spot for souped-up cars & motorcycle meetups. read more

This place is so mismanaged and poorly run it should be the last place you go to satisfy your appetite. They don't tell you when you order that it takes 45 to 50 minutes to cook a burger which will come to the table unlike anything you ordered and served by an untrained waitress with bad attitude. The burger will be overcooked and too salty to eat and the fries will be undercooked, greasy and to salty to eat as well. To avoid a disaster of a meal avoid Pops. read more

This very popular burger place has gone downhill. Part I'm sure is the times we're in, part is neglect. The hamburger meat has no flavor. Not sure if they changed suppliers, or if they seasoned it before, and now have stopped. The fries were soggy and luke warm. Still an ok place for a quick bite, but not on top of my list. read more

Very cool and nostalgic burger place with great burgers. Stopped in for dinner during work trip and loved the atmosphere. You place order at counter then find table, so placed order for double burger with bacon, avocado, thousand island, pickles and cheddar along with onion rings and frosted root beer. Fun family place. The fried pies are amazing! When you order add on and they will delay so you have it hot and ready after your meal. Fries and onions rings seem skimpy for price and not a fan of only ketchup packets offered. Change those 2 things and this place is awesome. read more
