Food was amazing from the starter that was sashimi and fish cigar to main dish stripes bass and Chilean Seabass The spaghetti puttanesca had an amazing tomato sauce that was indicative of fresh tomatoes .it was out of this world . I am no expert on Israeli food but I think it is one of the better places in LA to find it. The food is hot, fresh and portions are generous to say the least. The prices are a little high but that is the norm for Kosher food in Los Angeles. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared by the staff that work extremely hard to get orders out quickly. A great place to meet a group of people. It can be loud inside - lots of families with young children enjoying themselves. The plates include lots of fresh salads, humus and other goodies. Also, include addictively good French fries, fried egg plant and pickles. You can save a little bit of money and order a pita that over stuffed but not quite as much food as a plate. read more

Food: 6/5. Tel Aviv Fish Grill has some of the absolute tastiest and freshest food I've ever eaten. The sea bass is so good, it's crazy to think they make it so perfectly. Orders also come with a side of hummus and other mini "plates" with pita for dipping. Delicious. Their French fries are to die for too... A+++++ Ambiance: 5/5. TA Fish Grill gets crowded, so be sure to get here early! It's a fun environment with people of all backgrounds enjoying delicious food! Service: 3/5. The only reason TA Fish Grill doesn't get 5 stars is the service... I don't put any of this in the servers themselves, but a lot of time the staff seem stressed out and overworked. There isn't much joy in their faces. Attn management: please treat your staff better so they're happier! It's the right thing to do, and it'll be a better experience for all parties involved. For my daughters birthday I ordered a lunch special for her and her husband.... The butterflied bronzino, and the focaccia, smoked eggplant and white sweet potato. It was simply delicious and their new favourite Encino restaurant found....top!!! The service on the phone order placed for opening next morning and friendliness was exceptional. Healthy, tasty, and they need to open a location in OC haha. Why are the good restaurants so far away! I was exploring LA as my friend had a lengthy hair appointment in the area. Searching for something "clean" to break my fast, I came across this place. Located in a small strip mall, it wasn't hard to find. There was minimal parking but I was able to get the spot right in front. As soon as I walked in, I proceeded a little further past the kitchen viewing window to the host. I was greeted and seated at an available table. There was some music playing and just a few customers enjoying their meals. I've never had Israeli food before so I pulled the trigger on a few familiar (and unfamiliar) dishes. I ordered the TLV Single Breakfast, French Toast, and Hummus Plate w/ Pita. How was it all? - TLV Single Breakfast: This was interesting and overwhelming. Out came this circular tray loaded with their homemade tapas and dips, a side of two eggs, 2 slices of toast, a bagel, and an orange juice. It was unexpectedly a lot of food, but I enjoyed it all. Homemade is best! - French Toast: Made with challah bread, this was delicious. It was topped with some blueberries and strawberries. - Hummus Plate /w Pita: Who doesn't know and love this? I love their pita, it's fluffy and soft. I should have ordered like 10 more sides of pita to finish the hummus. Service was good, everyone is friendly here and gives the restaurant a family feel. Recently chnaged their arak rigatoni pasta. Had it two weeks ago and it was incredible, loved it. The chnaged it because some customers I guess complained that it had a funky taste? Instead it's a very wierd onion sauce now that kinda just tastes like French onion soup with atleast 6 tablespoons sooons of sugar in it. Superrrr sweet didn't like it at all. We were introduced to this Fish Grill a while ago and found the food and ambience amazing. So when our family from Boston came to visit we had to bring them here. They were super impressed with the food. The service was top notch. Service with a smile everywhere we turn. We had the Branzino and the Sea Bream. They start you out with some lovely condiments and humus. We also love their Pita Bread - nice and fluffy and oh so yummy. The grilled Eggplant was simply delicious. It cannot get any better than this, believe me. This time we came with a large group and even so we couldn't order everything we wanted to try. I wanted something different from last time. I got the Tel Aviv breakfast, which came with eggs, toast, Greek salad and a slew of other little extras. All in all we had: Branzino, Schnitzel, eggs, hummus, Israeli salads, French Toast, Penne with butter sauce, pita (so fluffy and warm it makes me ache to think about them, lol), iced lattes, iced Matcha, dips, olives, an incredible yogurt with date syrup and nuts, fries, falafel, Limonana, and more and more. It goes on and on, so I will just post a few more pictures and let you take a look at the extensive gourmet menu. Each fish dish comes with a huge, wonderful platter of israeli style pita, picked veggies, hummus, quinoa salad, and other goodies. It ends up being a lot of healthy food and everything is very tasty. No wonder this place is always busy!!
