My mouth is watering just thinking about their food. Everything is curated so thoughtfully, the service is always good, and I love the vibe in here it always feels like a celebration. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu in my opinion. The deal for a group of 7+ people is really great too, definitely ask your server about it. Just remember it's tapas! The best way to go about eating here is ordering a bunch of things for the table and sharing! If you're 2 people, I think around 4 dishes will have you full!

I don't what took me so long to get here, but now that I've tried TLV Tapas I will be back...often. I'm already a fan of Tel Aviv Grill, but this restaurant space feels elevated. The decor, music, and feel is definitely a vibe, and yes I feel ridiculous for using that term that too - except it's true! Let's get into the food because we tried a ton of dishes. Spoiler alert - we loved everything we tried, with my favorite being the short rib cigar and bluefin crispy rice. The short ribs are so tender and delicious, which leads me to believe they have been braised for a very long time. The cigar itself was perfectly crunchy and mixed with the tender short rib and dipping sauce made me want 10 more. Bluefin crispy rice at an Israeil tapas bar? Yes! The fish was so fresh and creamy, and the crispy rice was flavorful and crispy without being overly crunchy. Loved the rest of the sushi we tried as well, and they use interesting seasonings (za'atar, sumac) which ties sushi to the theme. We also tried the Zaaluk which is smoked and roasted eggplant with peppers and garlic, which paired extremely well with the chewy and crunchy jerusalem bagel. Also loved the hummus because it was creamier than many I have tried, but still had that satisfying garbanzo sumac flavor I wanted without being overpowering. Lastly, I need to talk about the oyster mushroom which comes on a skewer with an herb gremolata and looks like a meat kabob. It left us wondeirng how a mushroom could be so rich in flavor, meaty, and perfectly grilled as a skewer. There is so much more we tried (and snapped pics of), and tons more I want to try, but you'll have to get down here and see for yourself. Really nice for date nights or eating and laughing with a group of people worth eating and laughing with.

Thank you for sharing your amazing restaurant with us. My daughter and 8 of her friends enjoyed the most amazing and delicious food and entertainment. So much fun and such great ambiance and atmosphere. Wonderful birthday it was!!

Came here with a couple of friends to try it out! We sat at the only table outside, which was kind of nice. We got the bread, oyster mushrooms, and the beef cigars (I forgot what it's called). And some drinks! We were all happy with our cocktails. The food? AMAZING. So delicious and flavorful. My favorite was the oyster mushrooms. But honestly all of it. The staff were super friendly as well! I also didn't know it was kosher! That's awesome. Will def be back!

Such a cute spot! A little difficult to get a reservation though, seems quite busy. Rightfully so as everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We wanted to try a bit of everything and our waitress helped us pick a good variety. To drink we ordered the Nights in Tulum which basically is a spicy cucumber margarita. My goodness was this delicious! Refreshing, perfect spice and potent! We asked for tajin instead of salt and they delivered. To we went with the short rib cigar: perfectly crispy and sides complimented it nicely; having tender skewer: succulent and delicious not one crumb left behind; the bluefin lime roll and yellowtail roll: both fresh and had the perfect rice to fish ratio. The quality of the food is amazing and service was great. They ARE on the pricey side however. And when we told them it was our anniversary we weren't offered anything. Not that it's a huge deal but those little details really can make a celebratory night that much more special.

Located in Tarzana you can find street parking or there's a parking garage directly across the street Located in Tarzana you can find street parking or there's a parking garage directly across the street. it it's pretty spacious with seating downstairs and upstairs This restaurant left me craving more! When I say every dish was amazing, it truly was! My friend and I stopped by a few days ago for dinner. We got the oyster mushroom, grilled okra, and their specialof the night the Dubai sushi. I can't describe okra. It's a southern dish, but I highly recommend it if you've never tried it, and wow, it was my first time trying the mushroom oyster. You're eating meat. It's grilled and seasoned perfectly. We got the short rib pasta with mushrooms for entrees, and honestly, this might be the best I've ever had!! we had a few other entrées, but you must get the Arias. Overall, everything was a hit from service. Our waitress was Ciara and she was delightful and helpful with suggestions as well as the other staff. I'm already planning a trip to come here again highly recommend it, especially for special occasions.

TLV Tapas Bar's 2nd anniversary was very tasty. The atmosphere was electric with a live DJ and a lively crowd. The set menu (see photos) featured vibrant Mediterranean flavors, and I had the chance to try: *Jerusalem Bagel - Warm, fluffy, and perfect with za'atar olive oil and tomato purée *Tzatziki - A cashew cheese twist with cucumber, garlic, dill, and chili flakes. *Zaaluk - Smoky fire-roasted eggplant with spicy shushka peppers and garlic confit *Okra - Tossed with lemon, soy sauce, and urfa pepper for a tangy, slightly spicy bite *Oyster Mushroom - Tender, with fresh herb gremolata, citrus, and sumac *Cauliflower Steak - Hearty, with beef demi-glaze, capers, and wild dill *Salat Hashuk - Crisp and refreshing with radish, cucumber, tomatoes, mint, and citrus vinaigrette *Arugula Salad - Peppery and balanced with fennel, pomegranate, beets, pine nuts, and sumac vinaigrette *Chilean Sea Bass - Buttery and perfectly cooked, paired with charred bok choy and Persian lemon Beyond the food, TLV's partnership with the LATTC Foundation made the night even more special, supporting scholarships for aspiring chefs. Overall, a fantastic celebration of food, community, and giving back. Cheers to many more anniversaries, TLV!

This place never disappoints and always delivers! We typically come on Saturday night early sit on the bar and enjoy really good food. The shook salad, humus, the newly added sushi rolls (so good) everything is always consistent and prepared to perfection. It was hot outside so we asked to be seated next to the windows, which were open allowing us to remain cool and feel the ocean breeze. We started with the Jamón Ibérico de Bellota, Spanish Albóndigas, and Pan con Tomate with chorizo butter. Everything was delicious, but the Pan con Tomate with that chorizo butter was incredible. Such a simple dish, but packed with flavor. We paired everything with the Teleferic Sangria, which was refreshing, not overly sweet, and went perfectly with the tapas. For my entree, I ordered the Wagyu Ribeye Chuletón, fire-grilled asador style and served with patatas and piquillo peppers. I love a good steak and usually order mine somewhere between medium-rare and medium, so getting the temperature right is a big deal for me. They absolutely nailed it. The steak was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender and juicy, with a great char and tons of flavor from the grill. Not much else you can ask for from a ribeye! My wife ordered the chicken kebab with sofrito hummus, and that was another winner. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor, and the sofrito hummus was a great complement to the dish. Overall, we had an amazing experience. Great Spanish food, great sangria, and most importantly, everything we ordered delivered. There wasn't a single dish we wouldn't order again. Big shout out to our server, Justin, who was fantastic and very attentive. We will absolutely be back!

That said, I regrettably must give my personal experience here a 1 star. When we were seated our Waiter appeared disengaged and in a hurry to get us ordering. He was incredibly unfriendly as well. At first, I thought it was my imagination my my party also noticed and commented on his attitude. We placed our order for drinks and he didn't even crack a smile. The drinks came back, mine was ok but one of the drinks in the part wasn't and we asked the waiter if could change it. He was so rude and made us feel so uncomfortable. The replacement cocktail was much better. Next, the meal: while we asked for recommendations becuase it was our first time the waiter failed to adequately describe the various dishes we inquired about. We took our chances and ordered the Patatas bravas, which were the highlight of the meal. next, we had the paella and it was not good. the rice was hard (Undercooked) and felt more burnt then anything else. The meat was over cooked...specifically the roasted pork. However, the pork belly was cooked correctly. we ordered the shrimp, which was not deveined and really had little to no flavor (Very surprising.) We were never checked on by our wait during our meal. Our water glasses were never refilled until just before the check and we were never asked if we wanted a second drink. There were a few more small inconveniences as well but I won't mention them...it just added to the overall disappointment. all in all, the meal was lackluster. I really wanted to like the food...I honestly tried hard to overlook certain things about the evening but in the end, it didn't feel like we were in Spain or eating real Spanish tapas & Pallela. Instead it felt like an American interpretation of Spanish food.

The drive there was a bit iffy due to location but surprisingly the street that the restaurant is on was clean and felt pretty safe! I chose to park on the street but I'd advise to valet ($15) for safety purposes. We walked into a concrete built up newish area that had a brewery and another Michelin rated restaurant across the courtyard. The entire area was inviting! The restaurant felt like we took a dinner vacation to Cabo which was recipe for a relaxing evening! We ordered from the restaurant week menu which for us consisted of Ceviche, Guac w/delicious fresh tortilla fresh chips, whipped beans, snapper, bbq chicken, empanadas and basque cheesecake. Yes, you get all three so no hard choices have to be made. My first impression of the beans was that they were no biggie but last night they were fire! I almost ordered a plate to take home. You have been warned the ceviche tostada has a kick but squirt some lime on it if you need to and you will survive. As for the guacamole, it's guacamole - need I say more? For my entree I went with the snapper, which came with escabeche, lime, pineapple, cilantro, green onion, and chili rub. In the past, I've strictly stuck to their small plates and I feel that's still the way to go. Nothing wrong with my snapper, I just love all the other little plates more. I went with one other person and only one piece of cheesecake came out. Supposedly it was a bigger slice but looked like an average size to me. This cheesecake is made with manchego cheese so don't expect an overly sweet treat. I did enjoy it. But, I also ordered their flan that is only available in August and I found that to be better than the cheesecake. Get both as one is limited edition. We also got the fried chicken tacos. We were told they were pretty spicy but I felt the ceviche was spicier. They were tasty but did not live up to their oxtail tacos they used to have. Also, squirt some lime on these tacos - you're welcome. This is one of my fave places to dine during peak weather season. Go check them out. Tip: street parking is available if you get there at 5 otherwise valet is $15. Trust, you do not want to park your car anywhere other than that one block where the restaurant is located.

We had been to this small quaint and beautiful little restaurant in Montrose before and wanted to try it again. We loved their little Spanish style courtyard, the tapas, paellas, and the setting felt so good for little date night after being away for so long. Unfortunately things did not go as planned. We made reservations for 7:15pm and were hardly even greeted by the hostess that seemed she'd rather be elsewhere then to welcome us to Casa Cordoba. Problem was though even after setting the reservation time and arriving exactly at 7:15pm we weren't seated for 15min even though we saw our table being cleaned and set and just sit there unoccupied for over 15min. So we waited. When we finally sat down...our server didn't come by for another 10-15min. But we were patient and we waited. Alvin finally came -- brought us water and opened the wine we brought. A special one for this type of occasion (corkage fee was $30). We ordered the paella with squid ink and seafood since it takes up to 45min to prepare and sat down to enjoy the wine and take in the setting. That night they had live music -- a guy on an acoustic guitar playing some cool songs, from Maroon 5 to Backstreet Boys on a 12 string...at least it was live. It was pleasant. The server didn't attend to us much and just had an air about him. Idk -- they may have been super busy but wasn't sure. Finally the paella came. It was...good. Not plentifully. 7-8mussels, a quarter of an octopus tentacles, and a couple of calamari. If you're thinking that much it and rice then you're right. It was mainly rice. No vegetables accompanying it but that's the dish. That was $57 for the small version. I've made paella before. It takes time and it's a production -- but at least at home I can make one for half that price for 8 people. Maybe that's why we don't go out so often bc it ends sometimes like this. We expect a nice meal, a welcoming host or hostess, a server who enjoys the food and atmosphere and makes us feel at home, and food that we could never prepare at home. It's suppose to be an experience that you are happy to pay for. This wasn't. We were disappointed and just felt like wanting to leave. The last straw was when I signed the check on a toast machine and asked for the printed copy. The server, Alvin just left the toast machine with us and left -- attending to others and leaving us with this machine. All I wanted at the end was a thank you for dining with us and the printed copy. We had to flag another server for that copy. He eventually came, with disdain written all over and just handed me the copy, as if I had taken his time to get my the receipt which I asked. That pretty much did it. I asked to speak with the manager and was told--"oh sure. I can get him--he's the chef, give me a minute." I was floored!! No wonder!!! The chef. The back of house manager is also the front of house manager!! That says a lot. You're front of house and your guests are not being taken care of? What kind of restaurant is this? With these prices? Regardless that was it. We left -- had some great ice cream and spoke about the whole experience all the way back home. Great date night eh? Not returning.

The naan with the dipping sauces was the perfect way to start. and the grilled oysters had an incredible smoky flavor that really stood out. The gilled corn wasn't my favorit it was have been much easier to eat if it had been cut off the cob but that was a small detail in an otherwise excellent meal. great service worth the visit.

We came for Dine LA, and this was way above my expectations. I knew it would be a chef-y place,…read morebut I didn't expect to love my meal so much. Dinner was $70 per person and consisted entirely of shared plates. It turned out to be plenty of food. We started with the roasted shishito peppers and the crispy pork belly. That pork belly was the best dish of the night - absolutely delicious. Next came the chickpea fritters, which were also really good. The roasted beet salad was up next. I hate beets. But I still liked this. I wouldn't order it again because, yeah, I really don't like beets. But if you like them even a little, you should get this. I actually ate several bites of this, and it was nice. The Sichuan Chili Bass presented a similar situation as I don't really like fish - but again, I ate this and it was quite tasty. Dessert was a "s'mores" situation - a messy, glorious bowl of chocolate, meringue, graham cracker crunch and strawberries. Service was awesome - perfectly pacing the meal. My friend had a couple of cocktails which were gorgeous. And the room is lovely and light. I don't love the neighborhood and parking can be tough. I definitely would come early unless you're taking a taxi. Genuinely surprised how much I liked this meal. Everything was very well done and clearly made with care without seeming fussy or too precious. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. This is a place to take your out-of-town friends to.
