As a new mom, these meals are perfect for me when I want something a step or two up from Chipotle since it's challenging dining in with a baby. I just order online, roll up to one of the pickup parking stalls at the Lazy Dog, and take it home or enjoy in the car hobo-style (my preferred method). They even have impressive TV dinners for $10 (or less if you buy 5 or more) that are housemade, gourmet versions of those retro Hungry Man/Banquet frozen meals of yesteryear. AND WITH BOMBA$$ DESSERTS!! That small upper right hand pocket of foil contains a unique surprise that I live for. So far the pineapple upside down cake has been my fave. But the peanut butter cup brownie is a close second. Wish one came with their butter cake. Honestly my main concern when it comes to TV dinners is what dessert is included. So it was an added bonus that the dinners themselves were higher quality than expected! Lazy Dog made a wise pivot with their brand by capturing a larger demographic of casual diners with these bowls/TV dinners. I hope other chains like Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Chang's follow suit.
