I have owned numerous vehicles from Range Rover to Cadillac and I have never ever received the kind of incompetent service that I have from Porsche of Arlington. We bought in January of this year a 2018 Macan GTS with low miles on it. Which means that the regular warranty provided with the vehicle was still intact and would be for a some time more. Not even a week after purchasing was my vehicle heads to the shop. I had brake failure lights going off, engine lights going off and my steering wheel was not working correctly and my sunshade is off track. After going on to a few Porsche forums we were able to figure out the issue with the steering wheel because they could not and they kept greasing it Took over a month to fix it. The service department told us nothing was wrong with the light- reset them. Not even a week or so later I was back for the brake light issue and was told I needed new brakes. I was given a small discount because of the timeframe and being brought in before for this. In addition, since the first week when vehicle was in shop for the steering wheel my sunshade was off track. This issue persisted for several months now we are in the month of June and still not getting anywhere with the sunshade issue Try making numerous appointments only to have them call back and cancel one was due to limited hours on a holiday. I made the appointment about 3 weeks before that holiday and nothing was said to me at the time. Decide to head over to Chantilly Porsche to address the sunshade issue and was told because the sunshade was now damaged (the fabric was torn) that they could not cover under the warranty and to head back to Arlington for the repair. Head back to Arlington now we are into September and the entire service department has been let go and it's all new people. I start over and am told that it will be fixed under warranty. Make appointment to drop and get loaner. This was September 26 here we are on November 7 and my vehicle is finally ready but now I owe $250 for the warranty deductible. This is beyond insane and crazy to me. What warranty deductible?! We purchased the additional Porsche warranty that would take effect once the regular warranty was expired. My regular warranty has not expired and none of the prior warranty work required a deductible. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy! i give it one star only because it made me in order to post this review. i have never done this before but I do not believe that I am the only one who has experienced this awful service from this business and if I can prevent another person from this then I see that as a good. read more

Very happy with Porsche of Arlington. The facility is nice, new, and clean, they have plenty of cars to choose from, and the staff is friendly and professional. The location is very convenient from DC, just a few minutes over the bridge and you're there. My salesperson, Kody, has been very good about following up with me to make sure I'm happy with the car and to answer any questions I have. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because one of the sales managers was a bit shady during negotiations and tried to confuse me on the calculation of the lease payment, saying that the numbers were off due to different tax rates in DC vs. Virginia. That turned out to be a blatant lie, as it became clear that the difference had to do with the dealer not honoring national Porsche's "dealer contribution" in the advertised lease deal. If he was up front and said that Porsche of Arlington doesn't honor the deals advertised on the Porsche website, I would have been ok with that. But to lie and try to say the higher price had to do with taxes left me with a bad taste in my mouth. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Scam artist. The GM will lie to your face and say anything to get you to upgrade or enter a new lease. He and his team assured me they would cover all remaining cost and fees on the trade in. Turns out 4 months later I am hit with a bill for ridiculous fees. When given the opportunity to make the situation right and remove the fees they promised would be absorbed in the transfer to a new lease, they simply did nothing. I was stuck with ridiculous charges for a fender dent and "scratched wheel caps" which is absurd totaling over $4K in fees that I was assured would absorbed by the dealership. They will nickel and dime you and lie about how the process works. DO NOT TRADE IN A CAR with them and expect fees to be waived. They will lie to you and tell you they will cover and bill you later. read more

Senait Yemane helped us find the car that we were looking for, the whole process was pretty pleasant. She followed up with us on our appointments to bring the vehicle back for the cilajet coating. I would definitely come back here for our second porshe. Issues: I'm really surprised that the loaner vehicles are subpar (enterprise provided a base jeep patriot that looked and drove like it went through hell). Hopefully corporate will do something about that. Other dealerships such as lexus and bmw would provide luxury loaners. At minimum enterprise should provide better cars. read more

I read Yelp reviews in this dealership and decided to get my recently purchased Cayenne S towed here. After it was towed there I called the next day to follow up. I spoke with Todd. He asked if I had brought it from an auction. I told him I had. He abrasively told me that it had been bright there back in 2017 by the previous owner. And it "had a lot wrong with it". He then tells me that he would NOT work on it and that I had until 9am the following morning to get it towed or I would be charged $100.00 per day storage!!! I asked what was wrong with it but he never said. Only did that "it would take several thousand dollars to BEGIN to get it fixed". Today I'm out $350 in tow fees and still don't know what's wrong with the truck. No diagnostic done or anything. Thoroughly disappointed!!! read more

We dealt with Jason Sewell, a new employee, nice but didn't know anything...He quoted me the wrong car, after I sent pictures and emailed him of the car I wanted. We were then transferred to Woodson, the finance manager. We told him we were driving over 3 (!) hours one way to pick up the car and have the documents ready and when we arrived there, none of the documents were prepared and we waited for 4 hours. Today is January 29,2020 and we still have no registration! - they put 2012 Porsche Targa on their paperwork, although we purchased a Porsche 911 Turbo S, and they said it didn't matter...Odd - I spoke with Sami, the manager, who proceeded to hang up on me in the middle of a conversation and tell me that he doesn't know why the process is taking so long, maybe it's because it's out of state, and he will get back to me at sometime in the future, after hanging up on me. By the way this is the manager!!!! - we took our car to our Porsche dealership near us in Pennsylvania and they listed over $15,500 of things wrong with the car....we have only had the car for 2 months, put 1,500 miles on it, and there is $15,500 of expenses? Our dealership wrote specifically in writing, that they would never sell the car like this and all of these things should have been documented and explained to us prior to purchase or fixed. This dealer tried to take advantage of me. I feel like every time I go in there for service, for my 2002 911, they are looking for ways to bleed me for money. The latest trip was the last straw. I'll give you the breakdown of what the dealer said, and what a Porsche mechanic said who I ultimately took the car to: Dealer: They said my sunroof was broken and needed special order parts from Germany, and it would be a lot of money. Mechanic: sunroof simply had a wire unplugged, the mechanic plugged it back in. No charge. (sound like some monkey business caused by the dealer? you decide). Dealer: all wheels and tires need to be replaced, they are bent, and out of balance, cannot be repaired. Mechanic: wheels are slightly bent, but can be repaired. Mechanic said why replace the tires, they are almost brand new?! The 45K Service was much cheaper at the mechanic. The coils and plugs needed replacing, mechanic confirmed it, much cheaper at mechanic. Front Brakes, pads, rotors, sensors, and hardware were much cheaper at the mechanic. The moral of the story is that one should probably not be taking an older car to the dealer, my fault. But I guess one should also be wary of dealers, and have the work they allege needs to be done double checked by someone else, to make sure they are not making things up! read more

This past week, my husband and I visited Porsche of Arlington. An Englishman named Chris Dunham greeted us and helped us to narrow down our interests with the vehicles. He is a good listener, is extremely patient (especially since my husband and I have different preferences with the vehicle options), is very knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor, and is not pushy at all. He is EXACTLY the type of salesman that we want to work with. (Heck, we'd even love to hang out with him because he's so personable!). I'd give five stars plus for him! But then the managers got involved. The sales and trade-in amounts changed quickly during our visit. One minute they said, "the most we can offer you for your trade in is..." and then they turned around and offered a higher amount when we were about to leave... If they really wanted to make a sale, the managers would give us their best trade-in offer to begin with. Also, if we are going to spend a lot of money on a car, it should have all the options we want. When we explained that the cars they showed us didn't have the options we wanted, Sammy (the head manager) said that he would look at their inventory. When he walked away, we heard him say, 'Jeesh!' with exasperation. Not the sort of behavior we'd expect from someone in charge. Debating on whether we'd like to give Porsche of Arlington our business. We'll go back just to work with Chris, but dread the idea of dealing with the sales managers. Terrible experiences here. My husband has a Porsche Cayenne and has taken it to this dealership several times for warranty work and other service. Every single time it is a debacle. I have gone to pick it up a couple of times (I work nearby) and the service dept staff leaves a lot to be desired. They barely acknowledge that a customer is there and are very unpleasant. Add to that, every time the car goes in we triple the time estimate they give us. A few days always becomes at least a week to 10 days. A week becomes three. I would expect this from a non Porsche dealer service place, but they should be experts. The last time I was there I overhead a service person telling a woman she needed particular tires for her car and that tires from other vendors would not be highly rated enough. They just seem shady. I am generally a trusting person. I have owned three Mercedes SUVs and each was serviced at Euromotors so I am familiar with what service in a high end dealership should look like. Euro makes these guys look like a pinto dealership. FOLLOWUP - After being contacted because of this yelp review, my husband called to try one last time. I've attempted to become a customer of Arlington Porsche twice in nineteen years. With my past effort just this afternoon. Unfortunately Porsche of Arlington relies on sales tactics that remind me of the nineties. In other words they judge one's financial ability or readiness to buy based on what a customer drives onto the lot with and or, how the customer is dressed. The supposed Porsche "sales professionals" simply ignored me as I walked into the showroom looking for a brochure regarding the new Porsche MacanS. I admit as a school bus driver working in the summer heat you can imagine I wan't dressed fancy having just finished working, and my ride is an old Honda CRV. I earn a mere 32K per year. But what the judgmental sales folks don't know is that I've inherited a tidy sum from the sale of my deceased Gran Father's Hawaiian estate! All Euro nameplates including Porsche now offer vehicles in price ranges making it possible for lower social status folks like me to step up to the refinements of a Euro car. So when my proceeds are available to me by December, I'll be buying that new Macan from a dealership practicing 21st century sales equality! My advise? If you're not a country club member? Very poor service. We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. The experience was ok and the service was poor. However, I didn't feel it was enough to give a review on. With the third phone call after purchasing the vehicle I felt it was time to warn others about this establishment and their severe unprofessionalism. We paid for our vehicle through cash and a credit card. Somehow they lost the record of our credit card payment. So, this first time, my husband provided them the information needed and hoped that would be the end of it. It wasn't. They had lost it AGAIN and no one could track it down. My husband advised that we have paid and they need to find the information we have already provided. Then, a few weeks later we received a call (we answered because we thought it was someone else we were awaiting a call from) while on our 10 year anniversary trip. Reggie was calling AGAIN for the information. My husband advised again that we they need to locate the information and expressed our extreme frustration with their lack of decent record keeping. He advised we were away for our anniversary (it was Friday) and he would speak to him about the situation on Monday... Reggie just kept talking. He was rude and pressuring us in a situation that was not our issue but theirs. The phone calls and conversations we had with this dealership were bordering harassment. On Monday my husband provided the information AGAIN. A couple of days ago we finally received the title in the mail... guess they FINALLY figured it out. In addition to the issue stated above the vehicle was missing a headrest. We decided to go ahead and buy it through them. Since it was leather they advised it would be $500. We agreed to go ahead and pay for it. They decided to reach out to the previous owner to see if they still had it. They did and dropped it off to the dealership for us to pick up. When we were told the previous owner was going to drop it off, we requested a refund for the $500 since they no longer needed to order it. They scoffed at us and advised that they are still providing a headrest, so there is still a charge. After some time of back and forth with my husband they finally decided to do the right thing and returned the $500 to us. Because they landed on the right decision for the headrest issue I was not going to post a review. I like to be fair. However, due to the multiple phone calls and incompetence in "loosing" our payment information I felt a review would be worth my time if it would save someone else the hassle of working with them. read more

Horrendous customer service! Once you purchase the car, they stop caring!! My Porsche Macan is one year old and I have had 3 flat tires in 9 months!!. The staff keep telling me that it's because I'm driving on roads with nails, etc. I drive the same route everyday and I had one flat tire in 10 years prior to purchasing my macan. Statistically the average driver will have 5 flat tires in a lifetime. And even if this was all due to bad luck, most of the staff members i have encountered are rude and unhelpful. It takes forever to speak with a person who can actually help. I have been waiting for my car and literally watching employees stand around and do NOTHING for the last 30 mins. All the deal was confirmed over the phone, email, and text with salesman who's name is Kareem. Since the dealership is 2hrs away from me, I was making sure numerous times if the price that he quoted was guaranteed and he said "yes!!". He even sent me the text with all the numbers. So I drove up there and met and greeted by Kareem and signed all the paper. And then finance manager showed up and there was mistake and I had to put down 5k to make that happen. Not sure this was mistake or just make the customers show up at the dealer. I understand that every one can make a mistake but Kareem never said sorry or apologized about what happened and tried to disappear asap. :( It was terrible experience. The gentleman went into an office, talked to somebody, and came back to tell me somebody would be right with me. Then he took a family outside to look at a car. At this point, I am the ONLY customer inside the showroom. There is a lady at the front desk, and that's it. I wait. I wait some more. I read a magazine and continue waiting. The lady at the front desk is now on the phone. After about 15 minutes, I've had just about enough and simply leave. If I'm going to spend $100,000 on a car and this is the level of customer service I am going to get, then to hell with you. I'll take my business to a different Porsche dealer. Seriously, this dealer couldn't even send somebody to talk to me in 15 minutes when I am the only person in the showroom? Pathetic. read more

He stayed in contact with us making sure everything was right until we received our plates. A Big Thanks to Nasir! -- Very poor experience with this Dealership. We spent all day Sunday to put together a deal on a car we selected before they opened most of it was spent just sitting waiting for the "finance manager." After several months we still don't have the license plates and no one has taken responsibility to get the situation rectified. The finance manager to no surprise no longer works there. Bought my hybrid Cayenne about a month ago and had a great experience with Junehee, he was so nice and very professional! I was out of town so my boyfriend did the first test drive with me on Facetime and Junehee spent a lot of time with us. When I came back to town we did another test drive and Junehee explained everything in detail, showed us how to use the electric charging station and was super friendly the whole time. He called to check in on me a few days after taking the car home and then again a few weeks later - I had a few questions that he researched for me and was always helpful. Buying it was fairly straight-forward, their Finance guy gave me a few options for various warranties and add-ons but didn't push anything at all. Since I moved to the DC area in 2018, the service department has been an absolute nightmare with my 2017 Macan S. I had a catastrophic oil leak due to an unknown source at the end of January 2020. After receiving my seemingly repaired car from the service department, I had to take my vehicle to New York for an event. On my way, at the beginning of February 2020, the oil level completely tanked right after this leak was supposedly fixed at Porsche of Arlington. I called James Tingley (who had been my Service Advisor at the time) who ensured me that Service Advisor Tiffany Stewart would take care of me on the Monday I returned. Tiffany promised me a loaner on Monday morning so I would have a vehicle to take to work. Upon arrival to the dealership at opening time, I was informed that there were no loaners available. I was infuriated as this whole conundrum made me late to work that day. I was told by Tiffany, that for the inconvenience, Porsche of Arlington would replace my windshield wipers at no cost (as we had previously discussed their replacement). Upon pick up, my car had finally been repaired properly but the windshield wipers were not replaced. At this stage, multiple promises where not fulfilled. When I expressed my frustrations with Rudy Pacheco (the service manager at the time), I was not taken seriously. He assured me that my next service experience would be better and left it at that. My husband and I had decided that we would not continue to take my vehicle to this abysmal dealership. We have since taken it to other dealerships (that have excellent customer service including Porsche of Tyson's Corner and Jack Daniels Porsche in NJ). I subsequently took my car to Porsche of Tyson's Corner to ensure that the work done at Porsche of Arlington was done correctly as I had completely lost my trust. These vehicles are very valuable and it was extremely disappointing that both my vehicle and I were treated with total disregard. Fast forward to now (July 2022), I was seeking to update my vehicle records (since Porsche of Arlington never updated my CarFax!!!!) and tried to call them multiple times and nothing ever got sent to my email. When speaking to Tiffany Gross, I told her my email was incorrect, gave her the updated email, she ensured me that she fixed it and still, no report was sent. I called two days later and got connected to Tiffany again (after multiple calls) and to my shock, she read aloud the same incorrect email. When I finally received the email, the records were extremely unorganized and some did not have the dates or the milage at which the car received the service!
