Their products, especially the collaboration between Adidas and Porsche are so well designed for the successful businessmen and sports car enthusiasts, who wants a cool sporty look. Lots of leather, titanium and carbon fiber throughout their collections of products. I'm not in the market to buy a $300 ballpoint pen at the moment but Sales Consultant Kevin Coleman definitely made me consider it. The store is pricy, but its PORSCHE did you expect it to be cheap? Porsche doesn't make "Cheap" it makes luxury. I had never heard of this store before I stumbled in midday on July 3rd, I recently moved to the Greater Los Angeles area from Detroit and had a friend in town visiting. My friend works as a designer for GM and after strolling Rodeo Drive gawking at all the fancy cars we just *had* to go check out Porsche Design. We did not regret this decision. Kevin gave us the grand tour, he was friendly and interesting and personable. The design aspects were explained to us and all told a story. The guest experience is what really sold me on these products. Let me save some cash and I'll be back for more. read more

I was on a cross country road trip from NC and decided to spend some time car spotting on Rodeo with my camera and came upon Porsche Design. I had wanted to stop at the location out on the east side of Los Angeles but didn't have time. After feeling tepid about shopping on Rodeo I went in to look around and met Filipo - Who had many questions about cameras. Next thing you know were comparing travel notes and having a ball. I ended up buying a Porsche lighter because I smoke cigars. I ended up meeting Josette as well who was a splendid woman and both gave excellent service. She offered me a glass of champagne and we talked til they closed - It was so much fun! I sent them a danish and they called to thank me and the fun began again. I got to talk with the manager Jennifer I believe was her name. Great people, great store - I can not wait to come back and see them!!!!! read more

Love the cars, hate the store. Quite frankly, the place does not make much sense to me. Who would spend $130 on a flimsy shirt because it says "Porsche" on it? I guess at least the shirt says Porsche on it; the $400 cufflinks don't say anything at all. There is cologne, overnight bags, sunglasses, etc. Strangely missing is any reference to the cars or the proud racing tradition. Having been to the Porscheplatz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, I would have to say that this place compares dismally to the gift shop there. I was really hoping for a store where they would sell scale models of the race cars, car accessories, and so forth. Instead, I chanced upon a gimmicky store that wants to make large profit margins off of ordinary goods from those who can't afford to buy one of the actual cars. Avoid. read more

I love the classic Carrera watches and would love to own one to match with my car. I came in lookin for a fleece jacket but I was a little disappointed that it was manufactured by addidas. After driving and collecting Porsche's for over 20 years, I decided it was time to start getting some more products to fit my lifestyle. People are always shocked when I mention I don't own anything from Porsche design except for a white polo so during my next trip to Rodeo, I made it a mission to get more from the store. Ended up walking out with sunglasses, another polo, the bluetooth speaker, and a backpack. The salesman started up a very active conversation with me when I mentioned I drive a CGT. Like this store but as with most things on Rodeo drive they are pretty pricey and don't have a lot of stuff that would classify as stuff you "need". But I will say they had a knife set years ago that I am still regretting not buying. The thing that really caught my eye on this trip was the Microsoft Surface Book they had there that was redesigned by Porsche. They totally redesigned the hinge and recreated the outer case. If you look at the materials list the whole unit only has 1% plastic!! Not to mention [and most shocking] the price was the same as the identical unit from Microsoft, with the exception of the design changes and the exterior case. I am seriously looking at a Microsoft Surface Book but am holding out for a 32GB model. The only problem now is that I know how much I like the version that Porsche came up with and will have to wait even longer for them to [hopefully] come out with one as I really liked the all metal case. This boutique offers a huge selection of small leather goods, shoes, clothing and more. Perfect spot to pick out a gift for a special someone. I went in a few weeks ago and picked up a pair of shades and I asked for the largest size and what he sold me was the largest they had in stock, which was 66, when I needed a 69 size. He didn't inform me of the difference, so when I went in today the manager was very understanding and apologetic. She said the 69 size has been sold out for a while and they were awaiting a shipment and they have a waiting list. Since I was misinformed and inconvenienced, she found a pair in another location and ordered it for me on the spot, bypassing the waiting list. Great items. Form and function would be the best description. Some things like the jeans are a little pricey and not worth it in my opinion. We used to have the kitchen knives and they were beautiful! The Porsche designed tennis shoes, jackets and sunglasses are some of my favorites. The associates of the store are very friendly. During one of my visits to the store, they had a DJ who was accompanied by a gifted violinist playing along with the music the DJ chose. That was really cool! I've been a customer here for years, so it's about time to leave a quick review. I love to come and browse and talk to the associates who are all very knowledgeable and welcoming. It amazes every time about how well thought out the products are, kind of elegantly understated and sleek with practical technical perks and features. We get compliments for the luggage at the airport every time we check the bags in. The jeans I bought for my wife are, so she says, the best she ever had, perfect fit that doesn't wear out. Ok, the button fell off after a couple of weeks, but I returned them to the store and with no hesitation and at no cost, they had it replaced, no big deal. I gave the shake pen to a couple of business partners last Christmas and I had a great time watching them figure out how it works. I also particularly like the sunglasses, that feel like much better quality as Ray Bans - higher price tag, too, but in my opinion well worth it. Other than in Beverly Hills I've shopped in their Soho location, too, as my job makes me go back and forth between LA and NY. Same products, staff just as nice as here but an edgier location which I like. read more

I bought sunglasses from their other store and same day evening my spouse did not like it on me. I decided to go to Beverly hills Porsche design store for more selection of exchanging the existing sunglasses. A lady named her Mar and did not wanted to share her last name picked up the phone and answered and was extremely rude and unprofessional and stated no exchanges and enforced legal contract means the receipt I was given to and she says I signed nor returns and I don't give a dam whether you or your spouse is happy with your recent purchase or not. I begged to speak to manager of the store and after she transfered to the store manager I started hours of arguments with store manager and then he decided to exchange me with a pair that is same or higher exchange item.the sunglasses they exchanged with cost different of what the box valued from factory and I was not sure who is right on the price? and different of what invoice price indicated. I started having upper nose sores from wearing the sunglasses all day,but they would not honor the return any further. I contacted the las Vegas store from great deal of frustration and request the exchanged and wrote them a letter. After several days the Las begas Porsche store federal express me a pair that one of the lenses is broken and won't stand on one of my eyes and they charged me additional $175.00 on top of it and put on receipt no refund nor exchange and they exchange them to damaged glasses. I finally went back to south coast plaza and they completely ignored me of selling me damaged sunglasses. I had to get assistance from SouthCoast Plaza Mall management to get my money back from these hughe retail crooks. If you deciding to shop with Porsche design stores be careful and think twice. They have an extremely bad customer service, they don't care if you are 100% happy of your purchase and they will set you up legally that they will take your cash and sell you damaged item and won't stand by their products, they have no customer service number to contact them so they would take care of your problem immediately. By contacting their store you must dial *82 and the stores number so the store knows who they should answer to because they have hurt and ripped off a lot of individuals like me. They all are biggest organized crooks I ever encountered and bought items from them. read more
