Man am I disappointed in this place again. Why did I try again? I just spent $21 on a takeout veggie burger- which comes with lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. I added some cheese, cukes, and jalapeños. They apparently took this to mean leaving off the actual ingredients that are supposed to come on the sandwich and gave me just the cheese cukes and jalapeños. Like really?! $21 for a veggie burger with nothing on it that the menu says it will. I'm bummed I got home before I realized it because I would have gone back in. Just major fail. Never giving them another chance. I triple checked before I placed the order to make sure the lettuce, tomato, and guac were selected- but nope. Bummer. Skip. At this point how can I even be sure this is a Beyond burger and not some meat BS they mixed it up with? We have been traveling all day and wanted to grab something savory and filling and get to our hotel , so we ordered from Portland Pie. I had the meat lovers calzone with garlic dough. That baby was oily as heck! It was also a little burnt but overall the taste was fine. They did give a small thing of sauce to dip as well which tasted ok and was definitely needed. The buffet style set up has gone out the window with time and a new restaurant moving in, but when I came in for dinner with the family, the environment was not as we had remembered. The only thing they have in common with the old restaurant is the building, pizza is a stretch. Ok. My 5th time here since it's convenient to an event I attend occasionally. I keep trying but after tonight I am done. The food is just heavy and too much. They throw so many flavors on to one dish you don't know what to taste. And the flavors don't always compliment each other. They are trying too hard. I leave with indigestion every time. Too much heavy and not enough light. Continuously disappointed. If you go just order basic stuff. Buy the dough for home. It's pretty good. Also the service is only good if you are male. Seriously! Wood fire flavor. The sauce is rich with herbs and spices. Cheese is stringy and soft, and cheesy. Mushrooms are big chunks! And the artichoke is soft and flavorful. I did ask for the green peppers to be left off. Hands down best pizza. Change my mind. I also got a little cocktail too. It was a raspberry pond lemonade. With Tito's vodka from Austin Texas. Not the cheapest pizza but overall great experience!! Easy to find with plenty of parking!! Online ordering so easy - especially customizing for my very particular family. We were greeted quickly and with a friendly welcoming personality. Our pizzas were exactly as we ordered them. We love the garlic crust and the tops taste great, although the amount isn't a lot, even extra cheese didn't seem extra. Moosehead is definitely a family favorite. Normally, I like Portland Pie pizza. Love their crust and unique toppings. On this night, I had the steak and blue salad and was not wowed at all. The salad was a lot of lettuce, whole strips of red pepper, onion, tomato, and some blue cheese crumbles. The steak was a small amount and very overcooked. I had asked for medium rare but was told the chef had to cook it a certain way. I'm not a fan of well cooked meat, but if you are, you should love this. I ran out of other veggies and meat way before lettuce and was left with a pile of greens. We also had some cheesy bread with marinara, which was better. Loaded with cheese made it a little greasy, but still tasty. I've had decent salads at Portland Pie locations in the past, so maybe this was an off night or an off location. I will try it again, but probably will stick with the pizza. read more

The food was pretty good but it took quite a while to get our food. I also felt like the service in general was slow for how little people were there. Our server was super attentive though and did a decent job- especially since be had a larger group. Adding a bit of time is understandable with a bigger group, but everything felt like it took significantly longer than usual. Food was still good though and it gave us time to chat so I didn't mind but it was definitely noticed. First off all, I LOVE PORTLAND PIE PIZZA! This is NOT Portland Pie Pizza! This is a pizza on pre-made crust. It's more bread than toppings. It was dry and tasteless. Less cheese, less sauce. I drove back to complaint only to be told sorry and that there was nothing they can do. They did not even offer to remake OR give any discounts on these god awful pizzas. I was really hoping for something much better from a management, service, and food perspective. This area needs a great pizza and Italian place, especially for lunch, but this restaurant just didn't fit the bill. First of all, the inside still looks like the old pizza place, which needs a refresh. The carpeting is old, the ambience is old, and it just doesn't inspire confidence in freshly cooked food. Second, the bus boy must've been on vacation, because every single table that people had left had old food, dirty napkins, and remained uncleared and uncleaned the entire time that I sat and had my meal. That's just unacceptable. As soon as someone leaves, the table needs to be cleared and wiped down. Gross. Third, other than taking my order and dropping off the pizza, I never saw the server again. Not to ask if I needed anything else, not to ask how everything was, basically just didn't care. It seemed like everybody running around in unwashed hoodies, instead of an actual professional restaurant service crew. Disappointing.
