I had been having trouble resolving my water heater issues, replaced the thermocouple because it had failed - worked for a while but the water never warmed as it once did and eventually did not warm at all. Concluded the only other possible thing I could do was replace the control box - but that can be half the cost of a new. What I learned from P3 was the inside of the tank itself was the problem. It had deteriorated so bad when draining it the ghoulish gunk clogged the drain hole. All that gunk sat on the bottom of the tank and worked like an insulation between the water and the heat therefore preventing the heat to warm the water adequately. I also learned the importance of size. if you go to small all the connections have to be replaced so make sure the size stays the same. Scotty was great with all that he did and showed me. By going on-line they gave a great discount of $300! And did so without jacking up the price to cover it. I had it all done, new water heater, installed and working correctly, old one removed and the peace of mind in knowing I can trust these people. This is no hype - it's real, I highly recommend them. I've had Bob over to my house 3 times now. I won't even look for another plumber because they can't get any better than this. The first time he came over was to fix a pipe behind my toilet. I had to shut off the water to my whole house to keep it from leaking. Every other plumber either wouldn't come out the same day or charged an enormous trip charge. When I called Bob, it was 4pm and he said he'd come over as soon as he finished his current job. He didn't do trip charges and his hourly rate was half what others were charging just to make the trip. He called me a few times to let me know his current job was taking longer than planned but that he promised he'd come out to fix my pipe no matter what. He got to my place around 8 and within a half hour we had our water back on and everything was good! He did a couple other things to fill up an hour and was on his way. Since then I've had hime come out a couple times for some small things around the house. What is great is I can always rely on him to come out the day I need him to. I usually call a few days in advance, but if I ever need him to, he's always ready to come out the same day I call. On top of this there's no trip charge and his hourly rate is hard to beat. My water heater of 14 years broke and flooded my garage on Saturday and I was in the dreaded situation of needing emergency plumber.
