Very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. The outdoor patio is pet friendly! Food was very good. Ginger wings were so tasty. Cuban sandwich came with a choice of sides. Marinated chicken with jasmine rice and veggies was excellent. Burgers were huge at 1/2#. Prices were moderate. My only complaint was the very pricey cost of beverages. $3 for an iced tea was a bit much. A glass of beer at $6 was outrageous. A glass of wine for$10!!! read more

Had a wonderful evening here. The outdoor area is perfect. Even after a drenching summer storm we were able to sit outside. There is a large ceiling fan that helps keep things comfortable. It is a perfect place to sit, catch up with friends, bring the family, and the dog! They gave a great Happy Hour with half price house wine, well drinks and drafts(?). The menu has a lot to offer. We all chose a sandwich. The P&V chicken sandwich was delicious, just a little on the small size. Sides were good, the Brussels sprouts, French fries and potato salad was yummy. By far the absolute worst customer service I've received from both waitstaff and upper mgmt (owner). After being seated by hostess was not greeted by waitress until I got up and asked if we could get some cocktails. Ordered a Kir Royale which I poured myself at my table and had to ask for the garnish which was a task in itself. The waitress was so ugly in her demeanor and just ugly personality you did not want her back at the table. Ask for Owner/Mgmt, which he was casually sitting at the table near ours and had seen everything happen as it did and did nothing! Actually his words were, "If you want to write a bad review, DO IT"! Normally it takes more than one time for me to make decisions about a place, unfortunately it only took 20 minutes here. read more

I ate the greatest burger here that I've had in 10 years. They're adjusting to their popularity so service is a bit slow just now. And their kitchen gets a little backed up. My absolute favorite restaurant in Vero! I have eaten there a number of times and sampled many of the items on the menu. Everything was delicious and so beautifully presented. The prezchicken and the ribs are particularly tasty. The setting is relaxed, outdoors with lights and there is plenty of room between tables. You can bring your dog! They have an outdoor wood oven for pizzas and though I haven't tried the pizza, the selections of toppings are unique and sound delish. It's a great place for a group or a couple. I ordered a classic burger for delivery & included in the notes: Substitute Beyond non meat patties, 86 onions, add side mayo and ketchup. I received a meat patty no mayo with onions and four ketchup packets. Clearly no one read the order notes. I had to throw it away. Very disappointed. read more

We walked in and there was no one to seat us(they were not busy). We waited about 5 minutes and then I asked the bartender if we seat ourselves. He got someone to seat us. A waitress(Taylor) was quick to come take our drink order. She brought the drinks back and we ordered an appetizer and our entree. Appetizer was salmon bruschetta (AMAZING)!!!! I ordered the P&V Chicken Sandwich w/ brussel sprouts as my side. My date ordered the Mojo Pork Sandwich w/ potato salad. Both entrees were delicious! She did come and ask how we were doing but then when we were done and ready to pay it took awhile. I thought she had gotten lost. Finally can whack yo the table and asked if were ready for our bill which I replied yes. She had it right in her hand. She did try to make small talk and asked if it was our first time coming to P&V. Too full of itself, likely because it's new. Basically a Chili's or Olive Garden, in a hipper venue. Evening parking can be spotty. 7 of us arrived wanting to be seated outside. The floor is set up with tables around an open area. There was a 'reserved' table that WE ASKED FOR, and would have accommodated us when we arrived, but we were told 'No!'. We ended up getting tables assembled for us, inside, squeezed along one of the garage doors. Brandon was wonderful enough to open the garage door to give us some atmosphere, reduce reflected noise (and airflow). Understand that, when we finished and left, the 'reserved' table was still unoccupied, with no hint of imminent occupiers (pun intended). Their floor manager is poor, and for this reason I'll not return. The waitstaff was great (Thank you Brandon). Food was delivered fast, but it was pedestrian-same as you get at a chain place. Prices not bad for the generic fare, with one exception... Glass of Chard:$6, Burgers:$11 to 13.... Spinach salad:$18! WTF?!? Nobody considered dessert, likely because we were feeling claustrophobic and underwhelmed. Total bill for seven light drinkers (just entrée and a drink) totaled $180 OTD. $26/head. read more

Went here last night with my wife and it was awesome. Quality of food for the price is on point and the outside seating area is really nice. Downtown vero really needed a place like this. My only complaint would be that they only have to micro brews on tap and a bunch blah generics instead. Change that out and this place will be pretty close to perfect. I got a burger and my wife got the Santa Fe salad. The burger has got to be one of the best next to Casey's and citrus. My wife loved her salad. read more

Was in the Vero area for work and decided on dinner at this restaurant. Upon first impressions the lighting and atmosphere really reminded me of an italian restaurant. I had the special which was filet mignon medium rare with asparagus. The steak was a little dry and overcooked but not bad. We got a pretzel as well and it was great! I had heard about this place but after reading some of the reviews, I wasn't so sure. Glad my hubby and I decided to go. I had the lobster bisque. Although there weren't big pieces of lobster in it, it was full of lobster pieces and so extremely delicious, one of the best I have ever had. The server said they put sherry on the top and it was phenomenal. For my entre I had the brie pillow which I highly recommend. It also was totally delicious. My hubby had the classic burger and he said it was a winner! Server and hostess were both extremely nice and helpful. The atmosphere of the place was pretty cool too! Post and vine is a really fun place to have a drink and light meal. The ample outdoor seating with fire pit makes for great ambience. The cocktails are better than average for Vero. The menu is a bit to unconventional for me. There's always one strong herbs in a dish that makes decide against it so I end up going with the chili - and I'm not a big chili fan. The prices are on the high side. It's hard to get out of there without dropping a c-note. Nonetheless it's a really nice place and I go there about once every 3 months. read more

Liked the spacious outdoor patio but food was mediocre at best. Cocktails were fine, if uninspired and light on alcohol. Started with salmon brushcetta app that other posters mentioned. Expected slices of salmon, instead salmon was chopped into small pieces and fairly chewy, not the tender at all. Shrimp in the shrimp po'boy were well cooked but creole remoulade lacked any heat or spice. Basically it tasted like a bland fried shrimp sandwich instead of a po boy. Side of potato salad had great flavor but potatoes were just about pureed. Could find only two small chunks of potato. Maybe this is southern way of making it, would have been delicious if potato and egg had been not been so finely chopped as to be unidentifiable. Another in our party had the salmon special, and that was very good. Salmon looked moist and he enjoyed it. Have heard from friends who are locals that best items on menu are meatloaf and Cuban sandwich. Maybe we ordered the items that are their weakest. read more

Great outdoor environment with a very large outdoor area, covered with a roof but open sides. The menu is diverse ranging from chili to burgers to salmon to filet. Our server was friendly and responsive, and the food was served hot and timely, which is impressive considering it was a party of 11 people. Prices were very reasonable. read more

I love this place. Went with friends last night and really enjoyed the entire experience. The waitress was awesome, great service. The atmosphere outside in the covered patio was wonderful. Made a reservation for 30 people two weeks ahead of our visit. 2 days before, the owner calls and says we have to give a credit card to ensure our party accrued $500/hour in charges. Upon arguing that wasn't the agreement they finally agreed to revoke the requirement. When we arrive, there was only seating for 24 and they refused to provide more seats for our remaining guests! Four of the guests volunteered to leave because they were made to feel so uncomfortable! As if that's not all bad enough, there were employees, standing around our table, complaint about what a pain large parties are! The service standards at this establishment to NOT warrant the high prices for mediocre food. read more

Ate here for the first time last night. We were there with a very large party as part of an event. I thought the staff did a great job. The food was very good. We had a cheese stuffed portabella that was very yummy and the libations were excellent. We wanted to order the black bean burger but sadly they sold out. They also had live music and dancing. We ordered an appetizer, he brought over app plates and we never got our appetizer. We never said anything because we knew our dinner would be out soon. We went to Post & Vine early (4pm) on their first Friday open. We sat at the Bar inside and the palace was hopping. The weather was great so the outside seating area filled up fast. The place is very much like a Miami style bar - great vibe. We got the Bavarian Pretzel - It was the size of a dinner plate and it was awesome. We followed with a Hamburger and a Chicken Tender sandwich. Instead of Fries we ordered a side salad - it was huge and delish. Walked in Saturday night with 10 people and were seated very quickly with a great staff. Waitress was pleasant and brought menus very soon and got our drinks ordered quickly. Pumpkin beer was great! My wife loved her wine. Food was served fairly quickly and portions were adequate. Most of us said food was to salty, and non of us really are on a low salt diet. Location is great, food selection is great, staff was great! We will be back but maybe will ask for low salt next time. read more

I never write reviews but my experience at this place demanded it. Eric was our server and he was absolutely awesome, very knowledgeable and conversational. We actually had intended to eat at Southern Social across the street, but they turned us away due to a lack of reservations and lucky they did. We started with the filet tips special appetizer and mojitos. Phenomenal. The beef was tender and delicious and the drinks were very tasty but could've used a touch more rum. Then we had the Mediterranean chicken and the mojo hot pressed sandwich. The chicken was juicy with perfect seasoning, sundried tomato's, artichoke hearts, topped with a lemon beurre blanc sauce that was delightful (and GF). The meat on the pressed sandwich was delicious but a little dry, however the fries were amazing. Overall, excellent experience and will be returning. read more
