Their dishes reminded me of a charcuterie board spread, as there are a variety of meats, cheeses, etc. I will warn anyone who's lactose intolerant that a lot of options contain cheese, but take a Lactaid if you can because the food was very good. My friend and I ordered a bruschetta board with: (1) BRIE, APPLE & FIG SPREAD, (2) PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA, FIG & MASCARPONE, (3) WARM ARTICHOKE SPREAD, and (4) RICOTTA, DATES & PISTACHIO. I loved how the breads were already cut into slices, highlighting the fact that they're shareable. We wanted to order something a little smaller after finishing the board, so we got MEATBALLS & GOAT CHEESE (house meatballs, pomodoro, goat cheese, chive, focaccia), which filled us up. Great ambiance for a Tuesday night; it wasn't too busy and the weather was amazing. I chose to sit inside at a table, but the nearby bar area has an open design and really made for a nice natural breeze. Friendly, attentive, and great service from hostess, server, and manager. Extra kudos in giving quality service without any sense of over-the-top gestures to impress Yelp Elite. It felt like a regular night to enjoy some wine and a bruschetta board. The Bonny Doon orange wine was delicious and went well with the Bruschetta Board I built (brie, apple, fig spread / mushroom mascarpone / sweet and spicy pepper jam, goat cheese / smoke salmon, pesto). Each bruschetta was so flavorful and cohesive on its own. I gravitate toward savory so the mushroom mascarpone and salmon pesto were my favorite. The spicy sweetness of pepper jam was phenomenal with goat cheese. And the brie, apple, fig was a nice standard for sweetness of fruit alongside the strength of brie. The bread itself was crunchy onthe edges and not too soft in the center. I loved it. The C-D-C experience. Cole was an incredible server -- great wine suggestion and wonderful, attentive service. Dana is the General Manager. She recognized us from our previous visit, came to our table and talked with us and introduced us to Chris. Chris is the Executive Chef. Exceptionally talented and constantly coming up with new ideas. The French Onion soup is incredible. The stock was well balanced and just bursting with flavor. The ONLY drawback was that it was not gluten free. I visit Postino because my girlfriend is celiac and we look for gluten free options. The restaurant does a great job of offering gluten free choices-- especially the bruschetta choices and the paninis! If you're a picker eater like me, I would not recommend this restaurant for brunch. I was unable to locate anything on the brunch menu that I would eat, so I ordered the raspberry chicken salad. The menu stated that it came with almonds, pecans, apples, gorgonzola, mixed greens and raspberry vinaigrette and I added smoked salmon to the salad. When the salad arrived and I realized that I overlooked the fact that it had blue cheese on the salad, I attempted to pick it out to no avail, so I simply charged it to the game, paid my tab and left. I have been to Postino three times in the last three months. Full disclosure, one of the times was for a Yelp event. That visit and the first visit were amazing. Could not say enough good things about the unique bruschetta boards and sandwiches. However, I am sorry to report my last visit was not so great! We ordered the artichoke spread, mozzarella, tomato & basil, prosciutto, fig & mascarpone, and salami & pesto bruschetta board. The spreads were delicious, but the bread was hard as a rock. Really disappointing! It was a week night and we were tired and hungry or we would have most definitely sent it back. We decided to move on to the meatballs and goat cheese. The meatballs were okay, but the sauce was bland and the goat cheese did nothing to elevate the dish. We wished it had been served with their delicious focaccia bread to soak up the sauce. Still hungry, we decided to order a panini. Our server informed us we could do half and half to try two different types, so we went with half west coaster and half chicken & mozzarella. Both on their delicious, grilled focaccia bread. The panini is supposed to come with a side salad or chips, but we were offered neither and the sandwich didn't come out with a side. Not sure if this was because we did half and half or an oversight. Either way, a miss. I really hope this was just an off night and not a decline in overall quality. Came here with my fiancee after she tried this place at the Arizona location. She gave rave review of this place...well, it was worth the hype! Ambiance is amazing, full of people and energy but luckily we didn't have to wait for a table from two at lunch time. Were promptly seated and the server achieved the perfect balance between giving us time to look over the menu and serving us in timely manner. We got olives for appetizer, and they were definitely some of the best olives we have try. It was a good variety of olives. Fiancee got Aperol Spritz (forgot what they named it) and I got a non-alcoholic Blackberry Smash. Both are good additions to our meal. For entree, we shared the bruschetta board. We can choose four out of the available options. Since fiancee is vegetarian, we picked ones that are mainly without any meats. But man, despite being vegetarian, these Bruschetta were definitely 5-star worthy. My personal favorite were the pistachio and the tomatoes/bacon ones. However, I would eat the spicy/sweet jam and mushroom bruschetta in a heartbeat again! Saw the couple next to us getting the Panini, and they came out in big portions. Absolutely loved coming here for lunch! The aesthetic is beautiful - I loved every inch of the decorated space. The servers are very attentive and friendly. Frankly, on the aesthetic alone, I'd come back here - but the food is actually INCREDIBLE! I ordered a glass of wine since there's a special: $6/glass 'til 5pm. I do believe this includes beer as well. I tried the Das Gute - Gruner Veltliner and it was tasty - I'm no wine connoisseur, but it was light and I'd order it again. I also enjoyed the tiny carafe it came with - so cute and I adore attention to detail. The Table Cheese board was very tasty - the cheese portions are HUGE, covered by the bread so you can't quite see just how generous they are with it. I especially liked the cambozola and the fig jam underneath the Brie. The only cheese I wasn't a fan of was the chef's cheese pick - it tasted like Parmesan which I don't find suitable for snacking - but to each it's own! The other cheeses that are a staple for the board were wonderful and again, I find generous for the cost. I'd absolutely order again. The olives do have pits, and they include an additional dish for your disposal. I enjoyed the variety. For the Brushetta, I ordered Brie, Apple & Fig Spread; Burrata, Bacon, Arugula & Tomato; Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese; Ricotta, Dates & Pistachio. These were all so phenomenal, and it was incredibly hard to just choose 4. I am most excited to return and try the others - I really don't think you can go wrong! Customer service here went above and beyond, as a piece of the Brie one had fallen off when placed on our table - without us even asking, the kitchen made us another one on the house. Very kind, as it really wasn't a huge deal to me! The Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese was my favorite of the 4, though all were delicious. The Brie one has a lot of sweetness to it, and the Burrata had so many layers of flavor to it in each bite. I had a great experience and am so excited to come back, as there's a ton on the menu I want to try! Also: at night, after 8, they offer $25 Board & Bottle. When it comes to wine it is all about the individual so I will share that there was not a wine on the list that I would like but that doesn't mean there is not good wine to select from. Everyone has a different palate when it comes to wine. Customer service was friendly, timely, and personable which I appreciated. We got the bruschetta board, which is the menu item Postino is most notable for, with the Brie Apple Fig, Mozzarella Tomato, Goat Cheese Spicy jam, and Salmon Pesto breads! All were tasty. A great price for sharing as well. I also split the Chicken Mozzarella panini with chips. This is more than sharable and I split it between 3 people and was well fed! I will say portions for their "snacky things" are small for the price, so I think the best bet is to skip and go for the boards or paninis. Obviously, it is a wine bar so we had to try some wine! I loved my glass of Francis Sangiovese. SERVICE: The service was pretty good! I loved the wardrobe vibe and our waitresses was really sweet. The fresh mozzarella and well-seasoned chicken made for a mouthwatering combination, and the perfectly toasted focaccia added a delightful touch. The raspberry salad was so filling with the chunkiness of the chicken salad. The pecans made it so tasteful. To top it off, we indulged in the Chocolate Bouchon and Crème Brûlée, and donuts--every bite was nothing short of amazing. My friend and I are starting a wine bar tour, and this was our first stop. Unfortunately, I was living in the moment too much that I didn't take pictures but this place was great. The service was by far my favorite part about it. We were well taken care of by several -not just one- servers. And they were all really nice. My second favorite aspect was the ambiance- the place itself isn't too big, so it had more of an intimate feel. The decor and restaurant was a vibe. For my meal, I got the grilled cheese with tomato soup appetizer because I was wasn't super hungry but it was straight fire. And last but not least I got a glass of the Columbo, which was AMAZING. The food was delicious, as always. However, the service was horrendous. We had two servers, one was a trainee. Neither could be bothered to serve our table. They came exactly twice - once when we ordered the drink and appetizers, and when the drinks were delivered. Our food was delivered by a runner and never once did anyone check to see if we were enjoying our food or needed anything else. We were going to order a main course, but decided not to after our server never returned. The restaurant was empty so the servers weren't slammed.
