So this is my first time being here, I came in after work. For being a holiday (indigenous people's day) the streets had a lot of traffic. The bartender Sam helped me out. She made sure my water glass was never empty and recommended different foods and told me about the wine list. I chose the chef's special bruschetta. I was the French onion bruschetta. It was very tasty and flavorful. Of course I had to have dessert. Sam recommended the hot doughnut spots, they smelled and tasted similar to a funnel cake. In town for work and came here for a business lunch on the recommendation of a friend. We had initially planned on a party of 7 but ended up with just 5 and the restaurant was quick to accommodate our change. I sadly did not get the name of our server, but she was awesome. Great with recommendations and suggestions to enhance our experience. We shared the bruschetta board and then each got a sandwich. The OMG grilled cheese with tomato soup was delicious and the whole experience was fantastic. Wouldn't hesitate to return again to this location or one of their others. I never thought of myself as a "Bruschetta" type of guy, but I've really taken a shine to Postino Addison. The only Bruschetta I've had previously was dried out and crumbly. Postino serves their own bread that is a little crispy, chewy and delicious. When you order a Bruschetta Board, you pick 4 toppings from the 12 on the menu. The hard part is narrowing it down to 4. Anyway, we've been to Postino Addison 3 times and we intend to keep coming. We always get a friendly greeting when we arrive and the staff is always attentive. You'll probably be surprised to see that you're not served by just one person. Everyone is responsible for filling your glass, bussing your finished plates or answering your questions. On our most recent visit, Kyrie L was working. I deduced from her Aloha shirt that she was from Hawaii and we had a pleasant time talking story. We ordered the shrimp scampy appetizer and it arrived in a few minutes. It had shrimp, artichoke and chilis, with a wine sauce. It came with a piece of focaccia on the side. Very nice, and plenty to share. We ordered the Bruschetta Board and our selected toppings were Warm Artichoke Spread, Mushroom & Mascarpone, Smoked Salmon & Pesto and Mexican Street Corn. We didn't have to wait long for our board to arrive. It was like a work of art. After trying Postino in Southlake I suggested this restaurant to some Dallas area friends as a place to meet. This location has a much different vibe than Southlake but I love both of them equally. Where Southlake is bright and sunny this location feels a little more moody and intimate. The service was amazing and everyone was very attentive - even the servers who weren't assigned to our table would check on us, offer water and extra bread. As a non drinker, gluten free diner I absolutely love this restaurant. The fact that I can get bruschetta, a cheese board and sandwich that all tastes so good while also being gluten free is awesome. My friend ordered a cheese board with gluten free bread and the waitress was suddenly incredibly concerned for her as we ordered the meatballs which had bread crumbs. Thankfully it didn't impact anyone but it was really nice to see she cared! I also really enjoy their lemonade and non alcoholic drink selections but do wish I could partake in their wine list! From the cool vibes and the amazing service all the way to the great paninis and fabulous dessert, Postino was a huge dub for us! We started with the chicken and steak skewers over yogurt and they rocked. The steak was medium rare as it should be and the yogurt added a great touch for the chicken. We both went for paninis -- I got the Italian beef which was roast beef, Brie, garlic aoli, and caramelized onions with a side of au jus and comes with chips or salad/soup. At $17, it's almost the same price as a steak and cheese sub at a fast food place and it disappeared faster than a rabbit under a hat. My bud got the chicken and mozzarella-- fresh mozzarella makes the sandwich. On the paninis you get your choice of focaccia (thick) or sourdough (thin) so pick based on your hunger level. We finished with dessert -- the donut holes with chocolate, vanilla and caramel dipping sauce -- and a warm coffee brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. Always good food, good wine, and good service at postino. I've never had a bad experience and all the staff are so helpful and friendly. If you have any questions over the menu or type of wine to try, the staff is very knowledgeable about each wine they have and can provide a taste test before buying the glass of wine. They have an awesome Happy Hour (EVERYDAY open till 5pm I believe $6 glass of wine and $6 draft beer pitcher) that I would highly recommend! I always love getting the brucetta board here. It's a good snack/ shareable and perfect with the wines. My favorite toppings are the warm Artichoke, procuttio and fig, smoked salmon, Burratta and bacon, and the mushroom. My husband ordered a turkey and ham panini I can't remember the name of. They also offer a small kid's menu which our almost two year old devoured. Grilled cheese, apple slices and grapes. Absolutely LOVE Postino. We went for the grand opening and I can say that we had a top notch experience. First the ambiance. I loved the decor and vibe. Very chic and clean. I love clean. I came here with my girlfriend because we both enjoy some w(h)ine-ing about our lives. We both brought our eldest child and I must say that their kids meals are amazing. My son got the PB&J and the presentation was beautiful. Grilled bread, grapes, apples, and chips. My son was a happy camper! Her son got the grilled cheese and it came with similar presentation and also very delicious (adult approved hehe). We shared a west coaster panini with a side salad because the kids meals were very well portioned and fed both our sons and us. Finally the 5 star service. From the minute the hostess greeted us until the minute we left, everyone was very accomodating and had smiles on their faces. This place completely SUCKS. The really upbeat and happy street presence is what drew me in. For those of us with a more refined palette for fine dining and good wines, the food taste like they're from the SYSCO truck and just heated up in the microwave per order. Same for the sauces that taste like mass produced and highly processed sauces from food warehouses and stored in vats. Wine selections are not of the finer quality and the selection is very limited. I lived 10 minutes from Napa Valley for 25 years. I have had some exceptional wines from this region over the years and recognize the complexities in taste in a good quality wines. l would not ever revisit this establishment. read more

Came in this morning during brunch with my daughter. We had been to the Southlake location but first time at the Addison location. From start to finish our servers were very sweet and attentive. We got to enjoy their patio since the weather is starting to get nice again. I ordered a Bloody Mary while my daughter had their prickly pear lemonade. The Bloody Mary at this location was okay, not as good as the one I had at their Southlake location.
