Postinos will always have my heart. Went on a Saturday evening and right away found street parking. This never happens so it already started off a good night. We snagged seats at the bar which was nice , no waiting. We had a great bartender who had our drinks out and we ordered some food. I had the bruschetta board which was delicious. The SMOKED SALMON IS FIRE. You have to try it when you come. It's the absolute favorite and I always have to get it. The cider was really good also. No complaints just full stomachs and smiles .

If Postino has no fans, I'm dead. I love Postino. I think that the bruschetta boards are just perfect there and I love that. They still have reasonably priced wine and beer if you go before 5 o'clock, it is only six dollars. They also have delicious fresh salads, and some really tasty sandwiches. Service is always friendly in there, and I love sitting at the bar, especially

They catered for my workplace and it did Not disappoint. They can't control the ambiance obviously for food they cater, but they certainly controlled the quality. The service was prompt; some caterers are late. They were not!

Our first date was at this Postino, so it was incredibly special when my boyfriend proposed outside and we were seated at the same table where we had our first date. Our waitress, I believe her name was Angel, if not I'm so sorry, she had glasses and tattoos, but she was so kind and so happy for us. She asked about our favorite dessert, and we were excited when she brought one out for us, it was delicious! Then we found out that the GM had actually covered our entire dinner, which completely surprised us. This place is already very special to us, and we're so grateful to the entire team for making such an important night even more memorable.

I love Postinos, and it seems like they are popping up all over the PHX valley! This location is a bit smaller, and the parking lot is small, so if you come at prime time you may have some trouble parking. There were some spots available around 445pm on a weekday. Indoor/outdoor seating is available as well as some bar area seating. They have happy hour drink specials until 5pm on weekdays. The ambiance is intimate and dark, I also love the back wall mural of tin lunch boxes. You can also purchase wine bottles here and they offer a wine club deal too! The service was good, I believe it's a team effort so multiple people helped us out. I decided to order the select two and choose the half salad/ panini deal with the WEST COASTER on focaccia bread and GREEN GARDEN CHICKEN CHOP. Both items were delicious! I would definitely order them both again.

Always a vibe. We came for their bottle and board night Our waiter Alan was very attentive and checked in regularly, music fits well with the ambience, love the dim lighting. Definitely a must.

I recently visited this location with two friends and one of their small children. It was a Friday around noon and the place was packed! Our wait was not bad and our table was ready quicker than projected. Pros- the food was good and served hot, the selection of bruschetta was great for my meat eating friend and the vegetarian, drinks came out quickly, there was a chair for the little guy, servers were knowledgeable, and super kind! Cons- the Bloody Mary had a sweet flavor so I would skip this in the future, parking was a mess Overall- I'd return! The pros definitely outweighed the cons and I love the atmosphere and food and drink options!

I have always loved Postino (all locations) my instinct of sticking to the delicious bruschetta boards......well I should have followed that instinct ! Ambiance is always comforting chic, service is very good and our server was very knowledgeable. I decided on the Tuscan tuna panini that I guess I expected to be warm as it had cheese on it but it wasn't (no big deal) I just always associate panini's to be hot or at the very least warm since they are by nature pressed. The tuna had enormous chunks in it but had a tang that I don't care for at all. It may have been the Dijon and mayo mix but I doubt it I like both of those. Another friend had the chicken and mozzarella panini and she said it was just "okay" my partner had the prosciutto and Brie panini and he liked it (I order it without the fig jam) but he likes figs. Homemade chips were thick and tasty! Iced tea had great flavor!

We went here for the first time and it was well worth it! We sat in the patio and just loved the ambiance! The service was spectacular and the food was amazing! I would recommend the bruschetta, to die for! We can't wait to go back!

We had another excellent experience at Postino Central! It's definitely my favorite of the locations I've been to: it's spacious, open, and the staff are so friendly. We came in on a Saturday early evening and were seated immediately. We ordered two mocktails: the mockingbird and the glow up. We both preferred the glow up: it was the perfect refreshing summer drink we were looking for! The mockingbird was good as well, but to us was more of a fall vibe! We ordered some sweet potato wedges to start. They took about 15 min to come out (which is not bad at all, we were not concerned whatsoever), but the staff was super apologetic that they came out after our bruschetta board. Everything we had tasted so fresh! We'll definitely be back at this location, even though there are multiple locations closer to our home.

Postino's is known for their bruschetta boards and while you can't go wrong with them, I decided to try something different tonight! I got the pream bowl with steak and it was a bit cold but otherwise good. Since I got there right before 5pm, I had a glass of Tempranillo wine for $6 during their happy hour. Our waiter was very personable. The interior is cute and cozy. Parking definitely fills up around here but there is a small lot I sometimes can snag a space in.

Bruschetta board cleaned out! So delicious!

Decided to hit up postino with a couple of friends for a late lunch! We requested a booth and got a nice private booth towards the back but the lighting was non existent there so it felt a little bit like a dungeon and it was so warm! I think a bit more lighting in that back area would have given this the 5 stars. However, the staff was amazing, it was about time to switch out staff is what we were told and they didn't skip a beat. My friends got a panini each and I did the bruschetta board and it did not disappoint. They also have $6 beer pitches and $6 glasses of wine which was amazing! Definitely a spot to go to for a nice light lunch and some drinks! We will probably make this our new spot since joyride removed all their tacos from their happy hour! Postino is now our new happy hour spot! Great service and absolutely delicious food!

I met my friend here for our girls dinner. I've not been here so was excited to try it. The atmosphere was chill and had a good vibe. They had a nice cocktail menu with some craft beers. I ordered a bowl for dinner and my friend had the chicken and mozzarella Panini. Both were, good. For some reason, I was hoping that they had pizza but everything else tasted great. This would be a first type of restaurant.

A wonderful evening at Postino's on Central

Missing their Guac & Chips Starter that was on former menu tho. We gotta commend the F&B Manager here! He overheard us talking to the waiter about the differences in the Charred Beet Salads & told us why: one was on the grill too long & he only knew that b/c he was in the kitchen watching them make it. He appreciated us sharing about the nuanced difference in how salads tasted & comped one. Wow - this is really going above & beyond: caring enough to have a convo w/ diners, acknowledging their palates detecting the difference AND making it right, b/c as he said "both should taste the same, like the second one." Mind you never got silverware or napkins so we were using the towels. 25 minutes for a can of beer mind you. Place could have potential but would need several more servers and maybe individuals that are equipped to even do the job in the first place. $300 for actually a slap in the face and no sunburn because are seats were in the shade with dirty dishes damn near on top of us. Gross, waste of money, and just disturbing. Could not pay me to come back. In addition the pool looked so alarmed I was surprised individuals were even in it, I barely let my feet in. Update : I tried to contact the hotel yesterday to get in touch with the manager, was given 3 emails all wrong. The emails never got delivered. Call the Lylo Swim Club this morning and spoke with Paul Epstein.... oh my actual god good luck. So extremely rude not helpful at all no wonder on his LinkedIn he switches jobs every few months. Some things he told me on the phone.... 1. That the dishwasher/busser was going around every 20 minutes and grabbing dishes... Wrong I saw him once 2. Explained to him that the drinks tasted like they were poisoned. He said what do you expect when you order alcohol. 3. he asked why I didn't grab a server. There were two and I saw them maybe three times only when they were delivering wrong food. He then told me that they were overstaffed yesterday pathetic. On top of that he said everyone was going there to get the dole whip drinks because of TikTok. I'm glad other people could enjoy them, but you would think since he works in the restaurant industry he would have grace for others when its impossible to please everyone. That I understand but with all of these things that went wrong a discount should have been applied. I've never experienced someone so rude and uptight. I can't even imagine someone having a bachelorette party or a birthday there I would be embarrassed to have my friends or anyone I know being in contact with this place or Paul. good luck to him.

The soothing decor and soft lighting created a cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a delightful meal, especially on an unseasonably hot day. We began our culinary journey with the Larb Mushroom appetizer, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The dish featured succulent oyster mushrooms tossed with roasted rice powder, fresh mint, shallots, cilantro, and a vibrant chili-lime dressing. Each bite was a refreshing explosion of flavors, combining the earthy richness of the mushrooms with the zesty brightness of the dressing. It was light, refreshing, and a perfect precursor to the meal ahead. For her main dish, my wife chose the Pad Z U, an outstanding selection that showcased sautéed broad noodles, crispy fried tofu, and Chinese broccoli, all enveloped in a delectable sweet soy sauce. The noodles were soft and chewy, creating a delightful texture that harmonized beautifully with the vegetable medley and tofu. The heat in the dish was skillfully balanced, providing just enough kick without overwhelming the palate. My wife couldn't stop raving about it! I opted for the Kua Kling, and it truly was a star of the evening. This spicy stir-fried minced chicken was enriched with fragrant curry paste, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves, resulting in an aromatic dish that was accompanied by tender long string beans and the unique Sadtor beans. The flavor profile was complex and enticing, with each ingredient complementing the others in a delightful dance of spice and freshness. It was a dish that not only warmed my belly but also left me craving more. What elevated our experience even further was the attentiveness of our server. With a genuine smile and a welcoming demeanor, they offered excellent recommendations and ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Their knowledge of the menu added to our enjoyment, making the dining experience even more memorable. Overall, LeDu Thai is a culinary treasure that I cannot recommend highly enough. Each dish was exceptional, bursting with flavor and crafted with care. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a cozy ambiance makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable Thai dining experience. GOOD! inspired by taco bell's baja blast hahahah). they TREATED us to all three of their current desserts on the menu. it was the most pleasant surprise i could've imagined. my favorite was the flourless chocolate cake! it was like a thick, rich brownie, had passion fruit cream to "lighten it up" and a caramel-like taffy on the bottom my brother and sister-in-law both said their favorite was the gulab jamun (which is basically like little fried dough balls/donuts, influenced by indian flavors and spices). the mille-feuille was also fantastic - the pastry was light and airy, cream wasn't too sweet and also very light, shaved cheese on top made it have a savory bite, and the jam alongside it was strawberry rhubarb. service is always amazing, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable; it seems like everybody working here truly enjoys it. quite literally already have a reservation booked at valentine and will be coming back here beforehand. update: came back for more drinks (fernet & coke, spaghett western, negroni) and their lamb flauta. all AMAZING! and amazing order to whet the appetite before dinner at valentine.

Regardless, we gave it another shot and we were much happier the next go around. Record players in the corner and a fireplace on the opposite side of this dimly lit bar created a cozy vibe on a chilly Saturday night. We arrived right at opening and the bar filled up quickly but the volume still made it easy to have a conversation and still have an intimate night out. The drinks, this time, well balanced and delicious. My wife had the the Pantera Rosa and I had the Last Word. Both were delicious and not overly sweet. I love a good "Last Word" but the tea added a welcome and subtle layer. A nicely created cocktail without shaming the original. Servers were attentive, constantly filling up water, and making sure we were well taken care of. We will be back!

Huge wine list, even though I didn't order any. We ordered the olives with Mahon cheese (serves as a fabulous appetizer. We also enjoyed the Sonoran wheat pretzel (wow, it was delicious!!!!) then the elote pasta and the pork ribs. Pasta was a good portion and the meat on those ribs had delicious flavor and fell off the bone. You could ask for an additional one if you want. We then had dessert, I think they rotate them so if you want to try this unique and delicious and light corn cheesecake make sure they have it. It wasn't heave and the red corn masa crust flavors reminded me of flavors my mom used to bake. The ambience was soothing and cool. Octagon shaped bricks held wine bottles. Various types of seats for eating ...high counter seats that overlook the street and the Melrose sign, leather seats to sit comfortably with friends, the bar or various other seating options. Room for semi large groups or two seaters. Soft lighting throughout. Service was fantastic and while somewhat pricey, it was 100% worth every penny! Definitely a place to try and treat yourself to a fabulous meal. It's casual but if you dressed up you'd fit in well too.

That was the experience our group had at Valentine. It's one of those places that's trendy and hip, and unless you're there to post to your instagram story, you'll leave wanting more. Our waiter explained that they recommend eating family style here, with the plate sizes getting bigger as you go down the menu. Maybe family style for like a nest of newly hatched birds. Half chicken, $42. No actual sides with that, just half a small chicken. 3 ribs? $24. That's $8 a pork rib. None of the food was out of this world flavors either to demand a premium price point. Not to be completely negative, the cocktails were all very enjoyable. We left here and went to In-N-Out as a group after since we were all still pretty hungry. And our tab at In-N-Out for the four of us was less than one half chicken at Valentine.

My wife and I visited what I'd call the best-kept secret on Central Avenue, and the experience did not disappoint. The food was exceptional. The burgers are simply the best in Phoenix. I ordered the Reuben Burger, the special of the day, and it was outstanding. Flavorful, perfectly grilled, with exactly the right texture and taste. You can tell they take their craft seriously. The Fattoush salad was perfecto. Fresh, bright, and beautifully composed. The ambiance was relaxed, comfortable, clean, and genuinely memorable. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive all at once, a combination that is rarer than it should be. This was my second visit, and it won't be my last. Windsor, thank you. I had read that parking can sometimes be a challenge, but since I came in the early afternoon, it wasn't an issue at all. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, this was a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back.

I first came across Don Woods' Say When reading a Yelp article listing out the best rooftops in…read moreeach state. Don Woods was Arizona's pick. For quite a few months, I had it on my list to visit. I finally made things happen on a Wednesday evening for a drink. Located on the roof (of course) of a boutique hotel, I find free parking in the hotel's parking lot. While it was a busy parking lot, I was able to find a spot. Unfortunately, my night consisted of a comedy of errors. Ambiance (3/5): When you think best rooftop in the state, you're thinking scenic and peaceful views. Don Woods' certainly has that, though I've seen better in Phoenix. You can see the mountains in the background, but that's about it. The hotel is located on a busy street, where you'll often hear the noise of cars buzzing by or the train choo-chooing. Did I just make up a word?! I imagine the best time to stop by is during sunset. The outdoor area is relatively narrow with seating for about 20-30 people. It's a mix of comfortable seats and tables/chairs. There's also a charming indoor area, where the bar is located, but I felt like I had to sit outside. The weather was perfect, too. Service (2.5/5): This is where the comedy of errors began. I was given a menu and some water and was left to peruse the menu. Before the waitress had returned, I had picked out an appetizer and a cocktail. I then discovered that their cook had quit the other week and as a result, no food was available. That's fine and all, but you've gotta give me a heads-up when giving me the menu. That way, I wouldn't have spent the time to look over the food menu and get my heart set on a particular dish. On a better note, they have free WiFi. And service was overall friendly and pretty efficient. Food (N/A): While I was unable to order some food, on most nights, they have a small menu of small plates. More of a snack type of spot then a full meal type of establishment. Drinks (3/5): Don Woods is know for its cocktails and they have a list of 10 or so craft cocktails. Plus, beer, wine, and the typical options that you would find when there's a full bar. I feel like the bartender messed up the proportions on my cocktail as it was a bit rough. One drink and I was out. It seems like Don Woods' is experiencing some turnover which is leading to some mishaps. Combine that with some high expectations given the accolades they won, and it was the recipe for a disaster. I love a good rooftop bar, so I was hoping for more at Don Woods' Say When. Even the lobby of the hotel was experiencing issues. They sell popsicles in the lobby but the guy temporarily manning the front desk didn't know how to get their Square device working. Which ended up meaning no appetizers for me at Don Woods and no popsicles from the lobby. Two strikes. We live to fight another day.
