I like to come here for fries cause it's so bomb. But the girl cashier has terrible attitude. Idk if she was having a bad day or what, but she really shouldn't take it out on her work or on customers. If she can't do that, she's really working in the wrong area. This is the only food-hut place in Town Square that I wanted to try. I'm the sort to order a large fries and have it for a meal, so I loves my potatoes. At Potato Corner they offer baked and different cuts of potatoes, with curly and sweet potatoes fries being extra, and seasoning. After a ten minute wait, I got my Sour Cream and Onion tot combo. I think the seasoning itself, while good, is pretty potent, so towards the end of the Mega bag, I got sick of the flavor. Don't bother if you have an allergy or trying to get any product information. The "store manager" Jeanne was extremely rude and I witnessed her yell at one of her employees in front of me. I love these things! but then again, I LOVE fries! So I literally could eat fries for the rest of my life. Anyways, this is always a must stop place for me whenever I go to Vegas. I've tried the flavored tater tots and fries. We usually share a Giga size among my friends that could well feed all of us for a snack. I was walking into the Silverton Casino when out of the corner of my eye I spotted part of a Potato Corner fries bucket sticking out of the trash. I couldn't believe it, could there be a Potato Corner in Las Vegas? I immediately consulted Yelp and found that indeed there was one in the Town Square Mall near the airport. I love their fries, but I won't ever wait almost 30 minutes to get my order ready!!! Literally, it took 30 minutes to get a jumbo fries for my kid! I waited almost 15 minutes in line to have the young kid take my order and then another 15 to 20 minutes to get my fries from another young girl. There were only two young kids assisting the kiosk. One taking orders and preparing food, and the other young girl cooking and handing out the food. If you don't have the patience to wait for your order, don't ever go there. I had a 10:30am appointment with a movie, so I decided to stop here for a little sustenance first. There was absolutely no wait at 10am, the girl at the stand was cute and my order took less than 5 minutes. The food was fine, although there's plenty to choose from and go back and try (traditional, curly, tots, chips, the works) as well as chicken strips and wings. The moral of the story? The guys and gals that work this little hut are fast and efficient. They also give you an estimated time of when your order will be done. I came at 8:43 and i understand that they close at 9 but it usually doesn't take longer than 10 minutes when i have visited before. So I start to order 2 larges and she tells me that they have a very large order in front of me and it will be 20 minutes. Saw this little place and just had to try it! It took me forever to decide on what I wanted but there was a line so I had a lot of time to think it over. I decided to get the chili cheese tots. Chili wasn't spicy and the cheese was melted all over!!! It was delicious!! The food was absolutely amazing but the service could be better. There was only one girl working and there were a bunch of customers who all came at the same time. She had to run back and forth from the cash register to the fries. (They make the fries very well so the process takes a little bit. You can watch them make it though the window). She was absolutely amazing! A few people were telling her, "Keep up the great work! Potato corner is always our go to snack anywhere we may be. They always make it fresh when you order and then they shake the fries in the flowered powder of your choice. We always get fries there and is always consistently good. I always get the chili bbq with the curly fries and that's my go to. If I share a fry then I usually get the giga which will allow you to split flavors but has to be same type of fries. The amount of fries they give you is pretty good so usually the smallest size can be satisfying enough already. My next favorite flavor would be the sour cream and onion! read more
