So the way they do it here is if you order more than one item, it doesn't matter if you ordered ahead of others, your order will be pushed to the back of the queue. You will see others before you get their order first because "they only ordered one item". I ordered three medium sized fries and waited almost 20 mins. We watched everyone else after us get their orders ahead and they literally did ours last as we were the only ones left waiting. When asked why their reasoning is unlike the others we ordered a little more. What??? It doesn't matter if we ordered more, we still ordered ahead that's a stupid excuse to move us to the back of the line!?!? I've been coming to Potato Corner for years and I came here today and the customer service was great ! After reading these reviews I'd like to say my experience was the complete opposite. The customer service was great and the girl helping me prepared my food faster than I thought. The food was really good considering it is fast food. I get a chicken combo and I would recommend their chicken tenders every time. Something I think everyone lacks to notice is that this is a small fast food kiosk and not a restaurant. I told my friend potato corner has the best fries and hyped it up but man the chicks there have SUCH AN ATTITUDE! I walked up to to order and I'm standing there smiling like an idiot and the 3 girls pretend I'm not there because they didn't wanna take me right away, then I ordered and missed the first time they called my number and when they saw me and my friend waiting for our orders they called our numbers suuuuuuper drawn out in a sarcastic way at the top of their lungs. I've always come here and never really understood what was up with all the bad reviews, but I figured that since there were so many there would be some truth in them. It wasn't until today that I realize the toxic work dynamic that goes on with the employees. I called earlier to make sure what time they closed (Yelp & Google both say they close at 7 pm). The young man on the phone said 8 pm so I asked him what time their last call is. He sounded unsure and said "7:45 or 7:50", but I trusted his judgment anyways since he works there. I get to their window to order at 7:45 pm and the girl at the cash register says "We're only doing drinks". I say to her "I called earlier and the guy said to me that you guys can still take my order at 7:45 or 7:50." She looks at me for a second and reiterates "WE'RE ONLY DOING DRINKS" and nods her head while saying it as if I'm too mentally handicapped to have understood her the first time. Another employee demeaningly interjects "It's 7:45..." As if I didn't know that already... Yes young man, I know it's 7:45 - the exact time you told me you would take my order. At this point, I have nothing else I could do but storm off frustrated with the whole interaction. Was here today 09/19/22 went up to order and see these 2 girls were talking I stood there for 2 seconds to let them finished talking they didn't greet me or anything . (1) If they told me the wait time was 30 mins we would not have ordered. (2) they gave me our order and forgot the lemonade. I just remembered too when we were inside the car already driving home. I forgot about it too after painstakingly waiting for half an hour. (3) both orders of fries were bland and lacked seasoning. If I wanted plain fries i would have gone to mcdonalds and not wasted 30 mins of my time! Maybe you guys should think about adding more of your flavored powder?! Also we ordered chicken tenders and got chicken poppers. Oohh i got robbed for sure! Poppers are a third of the size of the tenders. My daughter loves Potato Corner and we have never had any complaints until NOW! We walk up to window and start entering phone number into machine for rewards and was having some trouble and the kid Matthew who was working just watched until he finally offered to do it himself. Then we ordered our usual Original fries with Barbecue seasoning. We take our receipt and Matthew takes off to make our order. So we think. As we head over to a table we see 3 kids standing at the back door of the kiosk and they start talking to Matthew. From experience I know it takes about 5-7 minutes which is usually the amount of time we wait and no longer until now. We notice it's taking longer and I'm pretty sure it was because he was distracted talking to his friends. Just as I was about to get up and check on the order he finally called it out. Not only were we waiting awhile it was 100 degrees outside. We walk across to get some drinks and cool off and my daughter opens her bag and starts eating her fries when she says they taste just like regular fries. I ask her what she means and she says there's barely any seasoning and I look at it and she was absolutely right. They almost looked plain. Never happened before and almost every time the bottom of the container has leftover seasoning. So we walk back across and let him know and he said that that is the usual amount of seasoning they put and even showed him. He then said they charge extra for extra seasoning! First of all it's not considered extra when there was barely any seasoning to begin with! In the end he added more seasoning. The BBQ seasoning is amazing on their tater tots. That is probably the only positive comment I have. The prices seem very high for their smallest side of fries it's upwards of $4. Although they do have very good fries, tots, and chicken poppers, the price makes me hesitant to keep coming back. The customer service at Potato Corner is also sub par. The woman working at the time couldn't open the shack on time and seemed annoyed that she had people there that wanted to order. She told me to come back in ten minutes, which was almost half an hour after they opened. When I did end up ordering, she seemed rude and like I was a bother to her. If you don't believe the bad reviews, by all means go and waste your time and money. The person I am presuming is the owner was standing there watching the travesty they call customer service unfold. The place was not busy and there was no line at all, but the service was horrible and the food took forever to come out. The girl (teen) taking the order had a personality as bland as the food, maybe it was because the owner stood there watching like a hawk making her uncomfortable. I still tipped the flavorless wonder taking my order and the owner's daughter helping. Tipping then was the only time I was thanked during this transaction. I waited patiently for my food and when my number was called, I sauntered up to the window to collect my order and was just handed the box. Every other order was put into a hard to open plastic bag without having to ask for one. The owner's daughter begrudgingly gave me a plastic bag and didn't ever open it for me, she just handed it to me. The bags are near impossible to open and I wasn't about to lick my fingers to open it. I was watched as I struggled with the bag and no assistance was offered, they just stared at me.
