My experience was good, as far as personnel went. Didn't wait too long for my warranty oil change and tire change. But, after I drove away I saw that the tire pressure was the same (although rotated) I know because I had one low tire. Which means they didn't check tire pressure. I've been buying and leasing from this place for more than 15 years and the recent service I had a few weeks back convinced me that this will be my last vehicle that I purchase from this company. My new Santa Fe is less than 7 months old and I am having issues with my engine fan constantly running. The resolve they gave me was I had to leave it with service for 3-5 days for diagnostic testing. I have full warranty on this vehicle but they refused to give me another vehicle during the 3-5 days they said it would take and that I would have to pay for a rental until they got around to testing the problem. The lack of support I received concerning this issue is totally unacceptable and very frustrating. Service has always been one of my main concerns when buying a vehicle and unfortunately when the company switched ownership a couples years ago, the great service that was provided no longer exists. Service was awful - the time it took to get back to me, the inability to discuss my vehicle's issues, the inept consideration of me as a customer, no parts available, and most importantly how I was spoken to. There should be a level of professionalism with acknowledging the problem, validating my concerns, and apologizing when wrong. None of this happened. My vehicle was 10 years old and no parts were being made so my vehicle had to be scrapped. I lost my vehicle to the scrap yard. Very upsetting to me. But, I needed it fixed, so I purposefully was polite to try and get that done. No such luck for 10 days. They just wanted their money for diagnostics that led to them not fixing it. I bought my Palisade in 2023 (about 22 months ago). The whole purchasing process was what I like, quick, no haggling, treated with respect, etc. That's where the happy times end. I'm a veteran and Steele was offering a $500 credit for all veterans when you purchased a new car. I tried to apply for this offer using my military ID and was told that they needed my DD214 to process the request. My salesman, Adonis, told me to get a copy too them and they would issue a check instead of writing it into my loan. I submitted the DD214 via email and then crickets. The salesman ghosted me (and soon thereafter left the dealership) the finance manager was no longer in his position and the general manager did not even offer me the common courtesy of returning my calls or emails. I did receive one call from the dealership. The individual was from internet sales and thought that I was contacting them to purchase a car (unbelievable). I contacted Hyundai corporate and was told that it is a dealer issue and they couldn't help. Is it really worth lying to a customer by not fullfilling your promise? Is $500 worth negative publicity? Had a really good salesman Noah, however the dealership tried to seriously low ball me on my trade in. 2012 Equinox, great AC, very well maintained, new brakes, good tires, trailer package and very condition. Their first offer was $500. But immediately offered to up the offer after I got up to leave. Wow! Steal Hyundai in Kyle was the worst car dealership experience I have ever had. My husband and I have been looking for a fair deal on a new Palisade and were extremely interested in options at this location even though we are about an hour away. We were optimistic after talking to Tony (internet manager?) as he made all sorts of reassuring statements about the vehicle being sold for MSRP, no dealer add ons, market adjustments etc. They will send you emails that say this also! Also that you can work most of the deal online-not true! When we arrived at the dealership we were excited to see they had the exact vehicle on the lot we had been searching for to no avail. We quickly agreed to work numbers. It took about 45 minutes to get figures, both on my trade and the vehicle itself. That's when my husband and I started feeling like this wasn't going to be good...mind you they weren't busy. When the numbers did come back, they offered me the least on my trade by 4-6k. When we talked to the salesman about pulling our trade and selling it ourselves they added dealer add ons. We went through a couple pencils before they would be transparent about something as simple as an out the door price, and when we asked for the second or third time to take out the warranty they had added, they told us no. We asked our salesperson-I thought your dealership didn't do add ons? He just shrugged and we left. What an absolute colossal waste of time. Being that I'm pregnant, that we had our infant with us, and we had to drive 2 plus hours to be blatantly lied to, I will never come close to this dealership again. If you are looking for a new Palisade, they are lying to you about no dealer add ons. Don't waste your time. Tony didn't even have the decency to return our messages after we left. It's also worth noting that none of the managers stopped to talk to us. I worked in car dealerships for the majority of my twenties and never saw this egregious treatment that we experienced. *they also won't accept outside financing. Ever since I drove off the lot, they have been poor with their service- I don't think majority know how to do their jobs. They have not cashed my check which expires soon. No one is helping me understand what they are doing. Is it lost, is there more info needed, are they just lazy? If that check expires, then what? I also finally just had plates mailed out on Friday (if they actually did it). My husband bought a new vehicle from Toyota a week after me and received his plates a week later. I still have not received mine for over 2 months. The sales manager, James, said there's a state delay which a sales rep confirmed that it was due to them not submitting their paperwork. I would tell everyone NOT to use the message center on their website. A real person does not monitor it. It's a virtual assistant that does NOT follow through with what they state they will do--I did talk to someone who confirmed my car was there the first time I called, they took my information, and stated a service advisor would me back call soon----I continued to reply to their texts and on this for two days thinking I was texting with a real person that worked there BUT still NO ONE ever called me--the virtual assistant kept replying via text to all my inquiries that someone would be in contact about my car that was dropped for service-- the virtual assistant took my name, phone, and VIN a couple of times and used my name in texts --after two days of texting with a computer (virtual assistant) and trying to call the service number several times and NO ONE ever answered again. I had to call the sales department to get someone to answer a call and they walked over to the service department to get someone on the phone. That's when I found out that NO ONE knew anything about my car, only that it was dropped off two days earlier--and that they were waiting on me to contact them (which I had on several occasions but it was with a virtual assistant that NO ONE was monitoring obviously and no one answers the phone either ---SO my car sat in their lot for 2 days without anyone reaching out to get in for the evaluation. So when I did talk to someone on the phone at the end of the second day--They said it had been there and were waiting for me to contact them---WOW I had contacted them via text and several phone calls that NEVER got answered. This person explained that it would be another 3-5 days before they had time to look at it to diagnose the problem. They would NOT move me up in the wait line as it was MY FAULT for not contacting them. They make it virtually impossible to contact them by phone and the virtual assistant via text is WORTHLESS and a WASTE OF TIME. The next day I called again --this time asking for a manager to talk to..I was on hold to make sure they were there and then told they would transfer me BUT you guessed it, I got their voicemail. This place does NOT care about Customer service. I plan on putting this review on every site to warn customers and advise them to take their car elsewhere---THIS EXPERIENCE IS REDICULOUS and should NEVER happen to anyone ever! YET my car is still there as it won't even turn over so It is stuck there unless I pay another $300 to have it towed somewhere else---I am beyond FRUSTRATED but I think anyone in my place would feel the same ALL I WANTED WAS TO ASK A MANAGER TO MOVE ME UP IN THE LINE FOR THE EVALUATION. When I first visited here in December they were owned by Roger Beasley. The sales person I dealt with, David, was super friendly, informative, and communicative. They had me come in to test drive a car similar to the one I wanted and gave me a tour of the dealerships. I put myself down on a waitlist for a hybrid car and since then had received routine updates about my status on the waitlist. My initial experience was very positive. However, after a couple of months of routine correspondence I stopped hearing back from the sales person I dealt with initially. I then saw an ad about new ownership for this dealer so figured things had changed. Their ad touted the fact that they and a huge inventory of cars, which is misleading. I sent in an online request when the exact car I wanted showed up in their inventory list. Since the original dealership email and phone number I had didn't work any more these online forms were the only way I could reach anyone there. I received a phone call from someone named Tony instead. He claimed he worked for the dealer but the more I think about it I feel like it was an outside Hyundai corporate person as I never got a straight answer about my status on the waitlist or when this car would be coming in. Nor did I ever feel like the information I was requesting was making it to the sales person at the dealership. I was told David, the original sales person I spoke and met with still worked there. However, I never spoke with him either via phone call, email, or text as he had done before the new ownership change. Since Steele took over I never heard from any sales person in fact ever again. It's like you had to go through some gatekeeper just to get ahold of a sales person. I filled out all the requested documents online to hold the car I had been waiting for only to receive a call that in order to finalize everything I would need to come into the dealership. I was told they would let me know when the car was due to arrive. Of course that call never came and the car sold to some one else. Oh well, it's just a thing and I've heard the Hyundai hybrid systems and longevity aren't as great compared to Toyota. One of my neighbors bought a car from Steele Hyundai and I was told they let them hold the car with a deposit over the phone. Not sure why I was treated differently. I'm just disappointed that this dealer really doesn't seem to care about the customer since given the supply chain issue they hold all the cards. Everyone I spoke with there was nice and courteous, but that didn't help me toward my goal of acquiring a car. In fact it just gave me false hope that if I waited long enough the car I wanted would be mine. As new owners in the area it would have been nice if the considered locals and original wait lists. It would just be nice if they considered the fact that there isn't always going to be such a huge demand for cars with a looming recession. Buyer beware! Where do I start smh. The car I bought is great '21 Sant Fe Hybrid's but I've had maybe the worst service I ever. I bought this car with 5 years 60k miles free oil change and at 38k they have been denying this service and it's in my Hyundai Protection Plan and made me pay. The manager found the mistake and promised to pay me back in Oct. 23 and I haven't received the check yet. I go to get another free oil change and get my money back from the last one and after arguing with the first person the new manager comes out and says they don't honor the previous owner Beaslys contract that they are Steele Hyundai now. I told them it's still Hyundai's Protection plan. They still denied it. I called Hyundai Protection plan and they said that Steele has claimed these before for my vehicle and doesn't understand why they are denying it. It's accepted in any Hyundai nationwide. I want my $$ back! Do not buy from there or get service. They don't have any knowledge of their business. They even almost ruined my car by not screwing in the oil filter in tightly and all the oil spilled out causing me to get towed. What a nightmare read more

I have had more recalls with my Hyundai Tucson than any other car I have ever had. How many? Three (3). Zero with all my other cars over 50 years of car ownership. Last Fall I got the third recall for a potential problem inside the engine that might result in a thrown rod or broken ring or such. I took my car down to Beasley Hyundai as this dealership was known at the time to be checked. They gave me the all clear. Last week as I was driving to work, the car lost power. It had to acceleration to speak of and would go over 60mph and the RPMs never topped 2,000. I took it in the same day after work and asked if they's could check what check engine code after describing what happened. The service rep said they would have to a compression test and I knew then it was related to recall. I would have to leave the car. I asked for loaner, they said they didn't have any. I called this week and spoke to a manager. I got the used car manager. I asked if they could obtain a rental car for me (I shouldn't have to pay for Hyundai's mistake). He said no. I called the Customer Service number. Another no, we don't do that. No service there. I called the US corporate office and got the same line. Customer service is not something they know. To make this short and simple for people that are concerned about putting their hard earned money into a lost cause. Well, RUN! This place is a complete joke! After looking for an affordable car during this tiring time due to inflation I was greeted by a very professIonal sales person named DAVID. They had the car I wanted and I was ecstatic! It had a recall on it, no big deal. It was a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe sport at a Hyundai dealership. Shouldn't be that hard I thought? Then they were two days late when they said my car would be ready. Okay I can live with that. I bought this cash and test drove it and instantly fell in love. When I came to pick up the car, the controls for the driver seat was completely hanging off. Only noticed because it was hard to adjust my seat (it wasnt like that when I test drove it 4 days before). Didn't even leave the dealership and brought it to the dear or should I say scum of the earth dear DAVID. He insinuated I had just broke it... anyways after I guess hearing the stupidly come out of his mouth he changed his answe to he could have the part in by next week to fix it no cost. I drove the car off the lot and after 5 DAYS. Coming back from San Antonio for work reasons it stopped accelerating on 410 causing me to almost be hit by not one but two semi trucks. The battery and oil light came on and it would not start again. I checked my oil and it was clear and full. i jumped my battery and the car would not start still. I called Hyundai Steele in Kyle and they told me to CALL MY INSURANCE AND THAT THEY COULD NOT HELP ME. I've talked to plenty of people since then but can not get ahold of dear shitface David.
