For Niagara Falls, with very limited options, this is a gem. I stopped here for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. They offer a variety of sandwiches. I chose the Manhattan which came with an over easy egg (made fresh), bacon (a little over cooked and Re-heated) and mild cheddar (melted nicely) on a toasted everything bagel (delicious). The sandwich and small coffee together set me back $9. Prices are a little high but there aren't many options around. Parking isn't bad along 3rd street (it's a "busy" street but there really weren't many people around). The decor here is modern, clean and new. The space is huge. When I was there is was practically empty (a couple of tourists and 2-3 other random singles likely on their way to court). The staff is super nice and friendly. If you're in search of breakfast in Niagara Falls, this May be your only option (outside of a hotel). read more

This was my first time here and felt very invited. We walked in and started looking at the menu board when we were greeted by the very friendly staff. Very personable and easy to talk to. We didnt feel rushed which sometimes happens in certain cafes where you order at the counter. The food is just as good as the staff. Everything is very fresh! They have a plethora of beverages too. From juice, to kombucha, and even pop. The menu is the perfect size. Not too large, but just enough to find exactly what you want. You can make your own sandwich too which is cool. I reccomend this to anyone visiting Niagara Falls or live in the area. Will definitely go back! read more

This was a great place to meet up with some friends I was visiting that live in St. Catharines; a great in between, between St Catharines, ON and Buffalo, New York. They have a parking lot right next to the building. It's a counter order place. They have lots of great sandwiches. I got a pastrami melt as did one of my friends and the other person got the turkey sandwich. I have never had pastrami and am not a very big meat eater, but it was super tasty. The sandwich was so big I ended up just eating 1/2. The meat was sort of like a corned beef, apparently they make it there which is cool. The staff were super friendly and attentive. They even very graciously took a picture for us. Definitely a great place to get a great sandwich and relax. I really liked it. The music was a little bit loud for having a conversation, I wish it was a little quieter, but we didn't ask them to turn it down either. read more

In the touristy sea that is Niagara Falls, this place really stands out. We stopped here twice in our two day visit to the Falls and the first time we went, it was around 10:30 AM and they were nearly out of bagels (just three plain left!). My boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich and I got an apple oatmeal scone and both were absolutely excellent. In fact, the scone was so excellent that when we stopped by the second day I got another scone to go. On the second day I also got an everything bagel with a veggie schmear and it was delicious. I feel like this is such a hidden gem! I used to attend a yoga class nearby Saturday mornings and always stopped in after for breakfast (the veggie scramble is SO GOOD). The food is amazing, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The yoga studio I went to closed but I still drive from Buffalo once in a while to visit this café because it is THAT great. I have been waiting to come here ever since I had one of their bagels while getting coffee at Steamworks. I tried the Maple glazed ham sandwich on sourdough bread, oh my goodness! It is quite likely that this is the best sandwich place in Niagara Falls. It doesn't compare to some of my favorite sandwich places in other cities, but it *was* still quite good. We shared two sandwiches: the "Cataract Classic", which was certainly stuffed to the gills with meat, and which was quite tasty, but didn't totally blow me away, and their grilled cheese, which *was* absolutely one of the best "just cheese plus grill" type grilled cheese sandwiches I've had, being that it was just oozing with all the different cheeses, and was perfectly grilled (we got another one of those to take for later, and while it wasn't nearly as good cold, it was still pretty good). We also tried one of their soups - a broccoli and cheese - and while it was clearly made with big chunks of fresh broccoli, we agreed it was kind of bland. The sandwiches did also come with clearly-fresh made-in-house chips, which were totally tastier than typical bag chips. We were happy that it wasn't stingy with meats, but equally happy that it wasn't stingy with helpfulness: my wife asked for no peppers on the Cataract Classic, I said I'd eat hers if she picked them off, and the guy asked if I'd just like double peppers on half, and I said yes. We got exactly what we asked for, and he even plated two plates of two half-sandwiches each. That was super nice of him. I'd totally come back to try their breakfast sandwiches if I happened to be back in Niagara and looking for food during the time they make them, though - those looked super good for the price. read more

I stopped by on my lunch break while I was traveling - what a good idea! The food was delicious, the space is very large and friendly, and I even got a 'cake in a cup' dessert. Delicious. One highlight is that they make their own potato chips which can be a little crunchy, but still quite good. I can also say the coffee is quite good and better than other places around the area. If I lived around here, I'd probably frequent more often to do work and/or hold meeting, because it seemed very conducive to that. read more

By far the best deli in the Niagara Falls area. The amount of work that goes into their food is incredible. Everyone is homemade from the smoked meats to the freshly baked bread, bagels, desserts and the from scratch spreads. I've ordered almost every item on their menu and I have NEVER been disappointed. My favorite sandwich would have to be the Ruben with the fresh handmade potato chips. Although it's a close tie between the 3 bean salad. Came here on the reviews. Wasn't real impressed to be honest. The decor is kinda trendy mixed with retro pictures of the city and power plant. The seating is basic tables and chairs. The tables that weren't being used were dirty. I wiped ours off myself. And they weren't busy at all. The two girls making the food were busy. The girl working the register focus was somewhere else. They stop serving breakfast at 11am, but they have bagels available. Kids thought the bagels were ok, little tough. But, they really liked the cream cheese. The kids grilled cheese is small, but typical grilled cheese. My wife and I both got the pastrami melt. The rye bread is toasted along with swiss cheese, caramelized onions and spiced brown mustard and of course the pastrami. The pastrami is cut thick. We had a hard time biting into the sandwich. We actually had to take it apart and eat the meat separately. It was hard getting all the flavors together, but whatever. The few bites I got together you could only taste the mustard. The rye, pastrami and cheese were drowned out by the mustard. My wife's was the same. Neither of us finished ours. They came with house made chips which were super salty. We ordered a hot coffee to go. They forgot to put the flavoring in it. And it was cold. So much for that. It tasted good, but it was cold. The manager tried asking us how everything was. I said ok and we left, but he knew things weren't ok. He followed us outside and asked us again. This was good, he wants to make sure his customers are happy when they leave. Found great reviews online so decided to give it a try. My date and I had the Ruben and Pastrami Melt respectively. Honestly we thought we both got corned beef, we couldn't tell the difference in the taste Crome one sandwich to the other. However, both tasted good. Not a cheap sandwich but plenty of meat on both. Also, they were well constructed a lost art in this day. Their sandwiches are served with home made chips that arrived warm on the plate. Unfortunately, way too much salt and I had to brush the salt off to eat them. Overall, very good service, quality food, not a bargain but quality for dollar not terrible. Wouldn't make a regular trip out here for this but once in a while a nice treat. read more
