Super disappointing, I really wanted to like this place, I watched it build up and was excited for a smoothie/acai spot. Do NOT get your hopes up. I asked for Mangoes instead of blueberries which was nice to be accommodated but then I got NO bananas and nasty freezer slimy strawberries and frozen mangoes. It was super gross looking, that I had to take them off. I know I shouldn't compare acai bowls from where I come from but the lack of fresh fruit was gross and even more disappointing to see other bowls that had been ordered came with fresh fruit. Every time, it's the same nasty attitude--just completely berating employees in front of customers like it's normal. I changed my review from one star to three stars because the owner reached out to me and I was actually very impressed by the concern and professionalism. I am sure the products here are wonderful, but I reached out back to the owner and explained that the biggest problem, at least when we were there, and when our friends were there, is that the staff just didn't seem to care or puts out that vibe without realizing it. It took 40 minutes, and I'm not kidding when I say 40 minutes, to get our food, and the worst part is we were waiting by their window the whole time. At no time did they ask us to pull over and wait in a parking spot but we had plenty of cars behind us and it took 40 minutes for what should be fast food! I thought maybe it was a bad day for them, but the drinks were OK and the bowls were not as good as other places so I did not see any reason for coming back. Yesterday, a couple of people ordered açaí bowls from this place and they said they waited over 30 minutes and there was still a car waiting for their order in front of them. This is for açaí bowls! The car in front of them belong to my friend who was waiting for an order of drinks that she ordered and she said it took a ridiculous amount of time, well over 30 minutes, to get her order. She said a lady from the other car got out just to ask how long it would take because they had to get to a meeting and she said the staff looked like they were lost. They seemed not to know what to tell this customer and she had to knock on the door several times just for them to open and even acknowledge her. My friend heard the whole conversation and said the staff was initially seemingly ignoring her. Obviously, the customer/lady was pretty upset and they had to back their car out of the driveway because my friend's car was still there waiting for her order. She said the staff just seemed completely untrained. This place is expensive. I cannot describe ambiance, but it would be nice if the staff understood that people are ordering and they don't know that this could be a lengthy process when they're ordering a smoothie or an açaí bowl, so communicating with people just to let them know their order is on the way, even if every 10 minutes, would make a huge difference. read more

I tried PowerSoul Cafe for the first time when looking for late night vegan food. To keep this brief and concise, I appreciate the fact that they are always open, and seem to have a pretty decent menu. I ordered via Uber Eats, for pick up. We went to the drive thru and were directed to go around to the lockers to pick up the food. This was a little concerning, considering it was after midnight, and I would have to get out of my car in an otherwise empty parking lot. It would have been nice to be able to pick up the food from the drive thru. The lockers didn't work, so the staff had to come around and provide me with my order. I ordered the vegan pepperoni personal pizza, and let's just say for $15.99 the portion is laughable. It was supposed to be a 6" pizza, but maybe shrunk while being cooked, because it seemed no larger than a saucer. Overall the flavor was great, as well as being well prepared. My 3 year old, who is a picky eater and does not like pizza, even tried it and liked it, although it was a little spicy. This place is good. Real good. Been waiting for it to open for forever as I maintain a dairy free diet. We went through the drive through today and ordered the strawberry banana kids smoothies for my girls and the Giving Me Major Feels smoothie for myself which was so refreshing and delicious. It reminded me of an orange Julius from Dairy Queen which I could never get since those have dairy! Also the service was exceptional.
