I WOULD RATE THIS NO STAR! I came here during black friday, so it was pretty packed. My family and I were looking at the wallets and so other people. I was holding a wallet to get for my mom and it was the LAST one that she wanted. I was passing it to my mom across the display table so that she can see it and one of the associate "Indian Man" snatched it at me! RUDE! he literally took it from my hand and began to show it to a couple that was interested in it (they also had the same wallet but it was dirtier) he didn't even say a word or even sorry, like really? minutes LATER, he gave it back but it was the dirty one (he obviously switched it for the couple). thought that I wouldn't notice. I gave him the most nastiest mug ever.. We asked for a discount for the wallet because it was so dirty but we still wanted it and they would only give us a 5% discount! are you kidding me? for a $300 tiny card wallet that is extremely dirty and only 5% damage discount? thats not even half of tax! not even worth it.. Their customer service is BEYOND the WORST I ever see! if your appearance doesn't look like you have a lot of money, they treat you like a piece of garbage. read more

Came in on my birthday to treat myself and to be completely honest after reading other reviews I was unsure as to how I would be treated once walking into the store. Going in on Friday evening there wasn't too much of a rush and I was able to scan around and shortlist a couple purses in my head while still looking around. One of the workers came up and asked if i needed any help and asked what I was interested in purchasing today. I completely forgot to ask her name but she was very helpful and showed me a bunch of different crossbody bag options until I finally decided to go with the one I initially had my eye on. She had a great attitude and made me feel comfortable making a purchase. She got me a brand new bag from the bag, had me check it for any defects and had the cashier help me with the rest of the purchase. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The 2 stars is the fact that their merchandise is still theirs regardless of the HORRIBLE service their associated provide and the fact that the doorman/security is cool. I came here to get a birthday present for my mom on a Saturday around 8:00 PM. I was extremely disappointed with the service here. Firstly, I resent being treated disrespectfully due to my age, being regarded under the assumption that I wont' or can't buy anything or that I'm OKAY with poor customer service because of that? I came here and the woman that helped me, early to mid 40s, was extremely frustrating to deal with. I roamed around the store for a few mins before landing on two cases on opposite sides of the first show room that contained wallets/bags I was considering. Nobody helped me for about 15 mins. Finally she came over to HESiTANTLY ask if i needed any help. I asked her about one wallet which she pulled out for me and she suggested another one on the opposite side. As we were walking to the other side, there was a clan of Chinese tourists that she was previously helping. She actually stopped mid-sentence while talking to me, to talk to them even though she had walked to over there. I found that EXTREMELY RUDE. And that's my second gripe, I AM CHINESE TOO I CAN SPEAK CHINESE TOO. Maybe if I had come in alone speaking Chinese she would have been more inclined to help me? RUDE. She took out a bag for me finally and I kind of compared which I liked better of the two. After the group she was helping left, and NOBODY, LITERALLY NOT ONE OTHER CUSTOMER WAS IN THE STORE, she still wouldn't help me. She would clean, put bags back into their spots and just WOULD NOT come to check on me. It was ridiculous. If I hadn't planned on returning home that day with a Prada bag for her, I would have walked right out of that store on the simple fact that i received horrible service. I waited over 15 mins with nobody else in the store until i finally WENT TO HER and let her know i decided on what to get. Now we move to the purchasing process. She told me she went to get a gift box for me. I see her return with it and (by this time someone had come in and was paying with a cashier at the counter) and while i'm waiting for her to get to me, she gives the box to the other guy instead, who another associate was initially helping. kthx. I go to complete my purchase and the cashier, a male, was ringing me up. He asked if I wanted a gift receipt in an envelope and i said yes. He returned and said "We don't have any more envelops sorry" without even LOOKING AT ME. I won't return unless i know exactly what I want and I will NOT be asking those two for help. BTW, I have worked in retail for high-end purses and bags, I know all about profiling and seeing who will make you the most commission. And you know what I found the secret to be? Bought a purse for over a thousand and they charge 10 cents for a bag. It's a small fee the store should absorb.

First, I'd like to say something about the outlet mall itself. If you want to save yourself the frustration, do not attempt to come here during the day on a weekend. Especially on any type of holiday weekend. This is the only Prada outlet I have visited so do not have any comparisons. From speaking with others who have visited the Italian Prada outlets, the prices seem slightly higher but not by much at all. I would say many items are around 30% off or more which is an excellent deal. I managed to pick up a current style bag that came directly from one of the other Bay Area full priced boutiques which was 44% off the current retail price. I also purchased a wallet with a strap in saffiano leather as well. The sales associates were all quite friendly. I like that they do not bother me when I'm happy to browse by myself and will periodically ask if I have any questions. When I did have questions, i found my SA to be quite knowledgeable about the different leathers and I did not feel a large difference between shopping in the full priced boutique and shopping at the outlet. However, I do believe you would need to go there at the right time. When the store is packed, the SAs will need to stretch themselves between several customers and there would be a longer wait for them to be able to search the back for additional items or be able to answer your question. So try to go there either early in the morning or later at night. Also note that it appears that all sales are final and they make you initial a stamp on the receipt. The bags will come in a dust bag but no box. The small leather goods will come with a box but no dust bag. Since i wasn't getting a gift for someone, I didn't really care too much about packaging. Overall, I enjoyed the shopping experience, found the staff to be friendly, the selection was small but decent and will definitely come back for more items in future. read more

I am torn between giving this place a 3 or a 4. While I did not find what I was looking for ( Saffiano or their calf leather totes), I did find a good bad that i bought. The prices are very reasonable as compared to the prada showrooms (like the one in Valley fair mall that i just checked today). I would still like to give negative stars for my first experience with the rude sales lady but there's no denying that pretty much everyone else gives decent to great service. She was also helpful in getting the sizes I needed from the back or high shelf. Granted after reading the reviews for this store I found out that most of the items are not Prada Made in Italy but made in Romania or Vietnam. Very poor customer service I purchase shoes in Prada store, they put in the box the wrong shoes and now they will not refund me and give me only a store credit unheard of. I love Prada, but I didn't like this Prada outlet. I had high hopes, but it wasn't a great experience. Here's why: (1) Service was not great. Service was kind of all over the place. First, while we were just looking around, there was a woman who came over and introduced herself and asked if she could help. That was nice. When we found something that we wanted to buy (a pair of sunglasses), we asked for a new pair, and she ran to the back to check. They apparently didn't have a new pair, and she told us that we could either get the same glasses in silver or get the display pair. After we inspected the display pair and found a large scratch on the frames, we decided that we would not get either and try to come back another time when their stock was replenished. We waited around for 10 minutes or so and couldn't find the person who was helping us. She apparently had already moved on to other people (she wasn't helping anyone yet, she was just following around other people in the store). A couple had just said "No, thanks, we're just looking," to her after her introduction when my husband finally went up to her and told her that we didn't want to buy anything. I get that the store gets busy, but why forget about your current guests? Lame. And she wasn't busy yet, she was just walking around. It felt like she knew we weren't going to buy the glasses and decided to not help us further. We didn't want to leave the merchandise out willy nilly and just walk off. (2) There wasn't a lot of product variety. I go to the Prada store pretty often - mostly to window shop and save up for the occasional purchase - and you can tell that the styles of the products at the outlet store are not as nice or updated/recent (even from the past few years). Also, I saw some not-so-nice items, and I didn't realize they were Miu Miu items! So confusing! At least for me. If I'm at the outlets, I'll probably stop by, but I wouldn't make a special trip to Livermore for this outlet. read more

I felt judged from the second I walked in. I'm young, Asian, and was dressed in a tank, khaki shorts and some brand new Jordans. They lady working there gave me the look like trash just came in the store. Her and a male worker followed us around the store like we were going to steal something. I would have bought whatever my girlfriend wanted from there but they gave me such a disgusting feeling, I just wanted to leave, so I did. I'm from San Jose and I definitely know what it feels like to be looked down upon. You lost a sale and now that is my first impression of your brand and all your stores. My husband and I frequently enjoy strolling around the Livermore outlets, if it's just to get fresh air a little exercise and of course retail therapy. Prada is always on the top of my Wishlist! We have frequented the store since it's grand opening, but like all outlets it's hit or miss as to what you might find, but when you do see something special you better not wait, it will go fast! Linda Sue is the hardest working individual I know. She is so thoughtful and helpful and it doesn't matter if I'm just browsing or I happened to find something that I can't live without, ha ha she is professional and eager and willing to please her customer. In the men's department my husband is always happy to work with Varinder, he again is a true professional and very helpful. He seems to know and remember both his taste and size. Went in shopping for men's suits and had a great experience in the store. We went in on an afternoon weekend and initially there was a slight line to get into the store. Some people have ego issues having to wait in line but when it gets so busy with so many people wanting to go inside it is understandable that they need to control the flow of customers. I overheard that they do it so the floor associates and cashiers aren't overwhelmed and never have more than 5 customers to attend to each, which makes sense so that the experience in the store is more enjoyable when you're given more attention. The store itself has a pretty good selection of products, including women's/men's shoes, bags, clothing, suits etc. The layout of the store is quite spacious and of course has a more luxurious ambiance. In regards to shopping for a men's suit, it was such a great experience thanks to one of the sales associates Varinder. We were in the store for a couple hours and he was so helpful and patient. We weren't sure what size or color to look for but Varinder assisted us every step of the way. We tried on about 3 different color suits and a couple sizes in each one and the sales associate was very diligent in finding them for us on the floor racks as well as in the back room. Not only did Varinder help us with finding the right suit, but he also took the time to pair the right shirt, belt and shoes to complete the look. We probably spent at least an hour finding the perfect outfit combination and with no doubt it was thanks to him. If you're looking to buy a quality suit, I would recommend coming here and asking for Varinder to assist you since he was extremely knowledgable about the right body fit and color coordination and styles. Very nice and you can tell he's a hard worker since not only was he helping us find a suit, but in the meanwhile assisting other customers find the right purse/shoes/clothes. There was also a petite female associate with short hair that gave very helpful advice but I didn't manage to catch her name. Staff here was all very friendly and knowledgable! Prada is one of my favorite brands. Going to a regular Prada store I have never had an issue and they are always so helpful, however, going into this Prada outlet in Livermore had to be the worst experience I've ever had. These sales people here are foremost the most stuck up and rude people I've dealt with. They look you up and down like you don't belong there and give the most attitude when trying to talk to them. It's kind of like talking to someone with a stick up their you know what. These people need to check their attitude before going to work. I was already to purchase something there, but in decided not to because they weren't helpful at all and feel that I can take my business else where. When I called back to ask for a copy of receipt to be mailed to me, the person who answered the phone (I think her name is Sabrina) told me that she is unable to locate because their records are not arranged by name, ehhhh...... What kind of service are we talking about here? Can't even accommodate such a simple request when a handbag at the outlet store still easily costs $1,000+!?
