    I recommend Precision Comfort Systems Air and Heating. We moved into a 60-year-old house that had never had central air. My wife and I wanted new central air installed with a new furnace all relocated to the attic. This was not easy because many of the rooms have vaulted ceilings and there is very little attic space. This job also required asbestos abatement and new electrical. We chose Precision Comfort Systems based on the recommendations of our neighbors. Precision was able to meet all of our requests and overcome those challenges. Dennis also helped us choose an out of the way location for the new condenser which allowed us to keep all the refrigerant lines concealed. A previous estimate from another contractor would have placed the condenser in a less desirable location and left us with exposed refrigerant lines. They replaced all the ducting and registers and installed a new thermostat that is WiFi-compatible. Precision Comfort Systems did a great job. They were efficient, clean, and polite. Additionally, because they did the install during the Covid-19 pandemic, they wore a mask whenever they were working in the house. I would use Precision Comfort Systems again and don't have any reservations about recommending them.

    I bought my grandmothers house after she passed and when I started living there I noticed the heater had a funny smell when it was on so I called Dennis to come out. My grandmother had previously used him and I wanted to stick with someone who knew the equipment she had. He told me the whole unit was dangerous and needed replacing. I figured I'd stick with him since he was good enough for grandma, he was good enough for me. He gave me 3 quotes (high, medium and low) and I ended up going with the medium quote. Sufficed to say, once they removed the unit and showed me how bad it was, I knew they weren't just trying to have me buy a new unit for no reason. It literally could have burned the house down had I kept using it and not had it replaced! I love my new unit and the peace of mind I now have. Dennis and Shawn have come back to make some adjustments with venting (room flow adjustments) and I'm so please with their customer service. I'm confident at giving them this 5 star review and would highly recommen

Said everything was healthy for an older system and didn't try to bullshit me or insult my intelligence. Guess which HVAC company I will never contact again and which one I would.

Their technician ran a paid diagnostic but…read morewould not open the unit, told me the refrigerant charge "seemed adequate," and proposed a coil cleaning of $545-$1,195 without ever looking into the system to see if it was dirty, to try to identify the problem. I got a second opinion. When the second company opened the system (originally installed by Advantage Air company), they found roughly two gallons of water inside the sealed refrigerant circuit, refrigerant leaking over the motor, a failed metering valve, an emergency water shut-off that wasn't connected and an unsecured exhaust line -- all documented with photos and video. The coil wasn't dirty; the system was contaminated and improperly sealed. I'd encourage anyone to get a second opinion before authorizing an expensive "cleaning," and to insist the technician show you what they're diagnosing. This system has only ever been worked on by Advantage Air. The system is basically new; it's eight years old. I purchased this home three years ago.

I was informed that the diagnostic fee would be $89, which would be credited toward any necessary repairs or services. Devin came out to assess the situation. He discovered that a fuse was burned and replaced it. He also checked the AC capacitor and noted that it should be within 5% of 12.5 volts, but it was slightly lower, so he recommended replacing it. He quoted me $169 for the service and the capacitor. While checking the unit, he mentioned that another capacitor on the roof also needed to be replaced, quoting $285 for that part. Additionally, he clarified that the $169 service fee did not include the cost of the indoor capacitor, which would be an extra $165. I found this pricing quite unusual and expressed my concern, to which he replied that these parts are generally expensive. The total came to $589, but Devin said he provided a discount, bringing it down to $500. I asked him to leave the old capacitors for me to inspect. After doing some research online, I found that one capacitor was priced under $20 and the other slightly above that amount. I have included pictures for your reference. Essentially, the initial issue was a burnt fuse, and the two capacitors were replaced because they were old and potentially damaging to the unit in the future. However, the pricing for these parts feels dishonest. I had read many positive reviews about this company, particularly praising Shawn's honesty, so I am left feeling disappointed. It's disheartening to think that in our community, some may take advantage of others simply because they can. I believe we should treat each other with respect and integrity, especially when it comes to services we provide and receive. Unfortunately, my experience here has led me to feel that my trust was misplaced. I would not recommend this company; integrity is not something you can sell. AC unit is working all right as it did before.

We moved forward with the fix, and it worked fine, and then it didn't. After a few more visits, and some more parts and tinkering, it finally started working properly. Although it was a strange and difficult situation, they stuck to it until the problem was resolved. The techs Danny and Mark went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. Another thing to add, the way the company communicated back and forth with me was great. They answered every call and every text. Most of the time I spoke with Stacey and she was great. Upon reviewing the Honeywell thermostat instructions and wiring diagram, we identified that the thermostat had been incorrectly wired to the "W" terminal. After rectifying this wiring error, the air conditioning unit resumed normal operation, producing cool air. I subsequently contacted Thomson for clarification regarding the initial service. Their response repeatedly referenced a previous replacement 14 months prior. While their online reviews are predominantly five-star, our experience suggests a lack of professionalism. This incident raises concerns about the necessity of recommended services and the quality of workmanship, potentially indicating errors or intentional oversights during the initial installation.

Our unit was 20+ years old and could not be repaired due to its outdated refrigerant requirements which are now banned. The tech was clean, knowledgeable and helpful, giving us a temporary fix in meantime. We decided to get a quote to replace the unit and worked with Robert. He was very polite and showed us different options without pressuring us. We know other people who recently had an A/C replacement with other companies and the price Robert gave us was less. The installation went very smoothly and the installers arrived on time and finished the job earlier than expected. I didn't care for the new thermostat style and the installer cheerfully changed it to another style that I liked. I found this company to be have excellent customer service, honest, on time and reasonably priced.

Ours' was a complicated project, with radiant heat in one room and a bumped out ceiling that didn't have ducting. Airpoint was able to problem solve and design the system to meet city codes when no other company could. They were friendly, prompt, tidy, and reasonably priced too. I met with several air-conditioning companies for quotes, one that even quoted me over $50k for a new unit and ducting. I met with Kyle who worked with me on pricing. I really appreciated his calm demeanor, positive attitude and professionalism through this unexpected, stressful situation. He was able to fit us into their very busy schedule and we were able to get new AC up and running within one week notice. His team, led by Ivan, did a great job with the removal of the old ducting and unit, installation of the new and cleaned up after themselves after each workday. I also met Juan, on the last day who helped start up our system. Juan was kind, knowledgeable and professional. I had some minor hiccups that came up after the job was done, Kyle and Juan were very responsive and helped resolved things swiftly.
