We used these guys to move and couldn't be happier! Highly recommend to anyone who needs anything…read moremoved. The guys were amazing with not only our things but our dog as well, they even tossed his ball a couple times for him! Not only was this move the smoothest we've had in a long time but the three guys doing were a dream team! We had a blast chatting with them and hanging out, felt like friends came to help us move! I'll never use anyone else now!

The WORST moving company I've ever dealt with. 801 Moving…read moreCompany is a complete disgrace. If you care about your furniture, your time, or basic human decency -- DO NOT HIRE THEM AND DO NOT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS. I went out of my way to clearly communicate my expectations before the move: everything needed to be fully wrapped and handled with care. They acknowledged it. They agreed. And then they showed up and did the exact opposite. They didn't even bother to wrap my furniture properly. My dresser and my nightstand were rolled out on a dolly with just a blanket draped over the top -- the entire bottom fully exposed and unprotected. I have photo evidence. This wasn't a mistake. This was how they operate. One of their movers was missing for half the move, and the rest of the crew took 30 minutes to drive across the street. Yes, literally across the street. The level of carelessness and unprofessionalism was beyond anything I've ever experienced. When I confronted them with proof, they first admitted the crew took shortcuts -- then quickly flipped the script and tried to claim that throwing a blanket over a piece of furniture is their "standard practice." That's not a standard -- that's pure negligence, and they had the nerve to defend it. They refused to take accountability. They denied the damage was their fault. And instead of making it right, they offered me a half refund and called it a "goodwill gesture." This company is a scam. They cut corners, gaslight customers, and hide behind empty policies when they're called out. Avoid 801 Moving Company like your furniture depends on it -- because it does. I wouldn't trust them to move a cardboard box, let alone real furniture.

I was quoted four hours plus an…read morehour of travel, but the move ended taking double that--and because I was paying them by the hour I was pretty frustrated. There was also some confusion over "travel fees" vs "fuel fees", but that appeared to be an error on their end. After talking with them on the phone on the day of the move, and then working with them in the week after the move, we were able to agree on a price that was fair, and I feel like it was appropriate. The movers were extremely friendly and polite, and we never had any problems with damage. They treated all our possessions with care. And the corporate people I worked with were eager to make things right.

I'm absolutely livid about my experience with them…read more First, when I called for my estimate they quoted me $189 per hour, and said it would be about four hours plus an hour of travel. They pressured me into making a down payment to lock in the rate, and I did, because the estimate seemed reasonable. Well, the move ended up taking all day. From 9 till 5. And the workers seemed to be doing everything to draw out the process. One guy was on his phone with friends multiple times. We overheard another telling the new guy "if a job goes past 3:30, they won't make us do a second." And they were so inefficient! The truck had a ramp and an elevator lift, and they used the lift for every single box. They were taking their sweet time. When we got to my new house the foreman handed me an iPad with the charges, and--before I said anything--told me that if I had any issues with it I should call corporate. And then he sat down and got on his phone. Listen: I get that there are travel charges. But we traveled, one truck, from North Salt Lake to Millcreek--maybe 20 miles. So why was the travel charge more than $500 and an ADDITIONAL fuel charge more than $350? And that's to say nothing of the "packing materials" which we never asked for or were quoted about--another $240. And of course now labor was nine hours, not four. And they wouldn't unload the truck until I paid. They were holding my furniture hostage. Well I paid. But I have been told twice over the phone that they are going to investigate, and it's been ten days of nothing. Do not use this company. Especially not the Utah branch.

We had a very disappointing experience with All Smiles Moving…read more My mother-in-law booked them based on an estimate provided ahead of time (03/26/26) and paid a deposit. However, on the day of the move (04/09/26), they presented a new estimate that was higher than what was originally agreed to. Before the movers even arrived, my husband had already done a significant amount of the work himself, he moved all the boxes into the garage and disconnected the washer and dryer. The only items left in the home were the large furniture pieces. When the two movers arrived, they even commented that this was going to be an "easy move" because of how much had already been done. We were told a crew of 3 movers would be handling the job, but only 2 showed up for most of the move. A third mover didn't arrive until the last couple of hours to help with the unloading. Because of this, the move took longer than it should have and since they charge hourly, that directly increased the total cost. This seems like normal practice for them, a bait and switch. They also spent an excessive amount of time (about an hour) just wrapping furniture, which again added to the bill. At the end, the total came out to nearly $1,000 significantly more than expected. On top of that, we received inconsistent paperwork with different versions of the agreement, which makes the charges even more questionable. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and misleading. Despite the amount of prep work done ahead of time, the job still took longer and cost more than it should have. If you're considering using this company, I would strongly recommend getting everything clearly locked in writing and confirming crew size before the move starts. Unfortunately, we would not use them again.

All 4 people who showed up were extremely courteous, well mannered and respectful of each other, myself, my grandparents, my home, and the piano. They took such great care moving something so special. Safety was of the upmost priority and they took care to make sure the piano was well padded and set so that it wouldn't get damaged in the short drive. I was a little taken aback by the price tag of $250 to move a piano a short distance, but by the end, it was the best $250 I could have spent. I had zero worries, even in the rain. These guys are also very strong- my grandparents and I were amazed by their strength and ability to move the piano so fluidly and safely and knew a special heirloom was in safe and capable hands.

That also appears to forward out of State ( Texas I think as well). And finally the move was delayed 4 plus hours without my being informed. In trying to find out why I was told i was informed about the delay on previous afternoon ( a lie). In any case we will finish the move way into the dark. For your own ease of mind use Two Men and a truck for better local (Orem) service. Oh and Melissa getsxa special note of disappointment and disapproval. I wuld give a zero if I could. This is not the fault of the drivers I might add as they were set up in the scheduling process.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Find a more honest group of people to do business with. I was moving a…read moreone-bedroom apartment less than one mile up the road, and my 68-year-old Father and Autistic nephew were the only people who were available to help me. The two of them moved 90% of my items, including taking the bed apart and putting it back together. I called this company to have them help with some large items (couch, mattress, table). I specifically told the first gal I got pricing from that I did not need anything wrapped up, as my stuff is all old and used and not worth much. She told me that was fine, but the minimum rate was $390 which seemed like A LOT, but worth not having my father and nephew get hurt. She told me they would be there between 12-2, but someone would reach out to me to confirm. The only confirmation I got was an e-mail and a text offering to pack my kitchen "for no charge". I replied that everything is already packed. At 1:00 pm on moving day, I called to see if they were still coming. The guy was very rude and said the time was "actually between 12-4", but said he had just talked to the crew, and they would arrive around 2:30. 10 minutes later he called back and said the crew was actually 3 guys and my rate would be higher "but they will move things faster". When I told him I only had a few things left for them to move and I didn't want to pay even more than the astronomical amount I was already paying for just a few items, he said "Well, I can have them bring one guy all the way back but it will be later than I told you". I knew it was not going to take very long, and I explained to him that almost everything was already moved, and it would take less than an hour, and he agreed if that was the case he would just charge the rate for 2 guys. Once they arrived, they started wrapping things and I explained to them (Like I had the gal I scheduled with), that my stuff is all old and hand-me-down items that they did not need to wrap. The one guy said "oh, I will just do this table top", and then did not stop wrapping stuff!! I was thinking it must be because I am a single woman, and my other help was done and left, so they were just going to screw me over. They walked back and forth to the truck parked WAY farther away than it needed to be, several times to get something, not moving the very few things I had, and I waited at the drop off spot for 20 minutes before they arrived, and they spent 15 more minutes turning the truck around to get as close as possible. At this point one of the 3 guys brought me an I-pad to show me the "remaining amount due" and it was over $700.00 and I had already paid $100.00 deposit. I literally could have replaced every item they moved for that amount! I told the guy I was quoted $390.00 and now it was $800.00. While he stood there (not moving my stuff), I argued with the supervisor at the office on speaker phone for 20 minutes. I told him when I booked this I told the gal I didn't want things wrapped (which is clearly their gig to scam people out of money taking their time wrapping stuff), and his reply was "Well that is our job". Really, because I specifically told everyone I talked to NOT to wrap anything because as I said before, I could have replaced all of it for less than $1000.00, I was paying the money so my Dad and nephew did not get hurt. I was forced to pay $693.76 to this pathetic scam of a company, and now I can't get them to send the itemized receipt they said would be e-mailed to me. I ASSURE YOU, it is in your best interest to find a better company. I was also very shocked that the first thing that comes up on the I-pad they hand you to sign your rights away on, says "No smoking marijuana in the moving trucks"... Great thing to remind your crew not to drive around under the influence of drugs.
