    I wish I would have read reviews prior to coming to this location!…read more I originally placed an order online for pick up at this location. It was for a new phone that was confirmed to be in stock. Interestingly the next morning the order was canceled. When I called to inquire, the employee said he believes the phone was sold out. I called AT&T and they confirmed that the store had the phones in stock. I later received a call from another employee who said they have plenty. This raised a red flag. I went in-store anyway and was helped by a nice employee who had a very soft voice. It was difficult hearing/comprehending him. He was speaking so low and fast that I thought he was simply explaining the device. Upon leaving the store I received an email with my updated bill. It was higher than when I made the purchase online. Turns out, he added NEXTUP ($10/month) and a protection plan ($16/month) without my consent. It was never offered, it was automatically applied. It's no wonder my order was originally canceled. I felt very deceived. This is why I avoid going in stores! If you go, be sure to make yourself clear and examine everything. Don't let them fool you.

Seemingly still made the cut to order. There was about 20 ppl in front of me. So as the line shortens and im getting closer and closer, I'm just on my phone, texting friends, being excited that I'm about to place an order for this very special set. The manager/supervisor, whose name is tony, comes around to the line and makes and announcement. Specifically stating that they will NOT place multiple orders for individuals. I paid no attention, it didn't apply to me. I had just got there 15 minutes ago and hadn't placed any order yet, I thought. Then tony looks at me and proceeds to tell me that I should leave and that he will not be taking my order. I didn't listen to him. There were only 4 ppl in front of me. I was almost there. Soon as I got in front of the cashier, tony comes rushing from around that corner and tells me he's not taking my order. I kept asking why so he tells me to talk to security or call corporate. I'm confused as fuck! Then the female cashier looks up my account and tells me that I've been buying from other stores and now that I can't buy from their store. So I'm asking myself, if I bought a tv from the other location, I can't buy another tv at this location?? I started to feel like tony was discriminating against me. Becuz I came to realization that buying/purchasing from other stores was not the issue here. Becuz tony had already told me before I even got to the register that he was not going to take my order if I'm intending to place multiple orders. Which I hadn't. We went back and forth, and then begins to tell me that he now will take my order but it WILL be canceled. So after discriminating against me, he now wants to threaten me by deliberately canceling my order. So as he proceeds to place my order. I give him that necessary information that he needed. I gave him the sku number for the product that I wanted. And after I gave him that number he says to me 'funny that you know the number by heart' . It was 7 numbers. I remember my dl number. My license plate number, my ssn, and even my mama phone number by heart. I have no idea why he thought I couldn't remember 7 numbers to a product I've purchased in the past numerous times at other locations. All in all, this guy tony discriminated against me, threatened me. Intimidated me. And patronized me. He straight up profiled me. I wanna have a talk with HR next and ask what type of ppl they hire and requirements are needed to have a manager/supervisor position. It's ppl like tony is the reason why I don't come to this location. I've had better customer service at other Best Buy's location. I get 'good mornings' every time I walk in after a night of camping out. I don't get treated like shit like how tony did me. Take my word for it Don't come to this location Westminster mall and Costa Mesa is the place to go. I got the proof.

The worker in the store couldn't help me, so they called customer service and had me wait on hold for a representative. I was on hold for an hour before a rep finally came on the line. I then spent another 30 minutes with him trying to figure out how to get my phone out of SOS mode. No one seemed to be able to give me the elusive Puk code or get my phone working. He then stated he would need to escalate the call and would transfer me to another department. I figured he was going to warm transfer me to human. Nope. I was just placed back on hold again to wait for who knows how long. At this point I'd been there for over an hour and a half and my phone still wasn't working. I was not about to wait for another hour, so I just decided to upgrade my phone. I really didn't want or need a new phone; but that was my only option at this point, if I wanted a working phone. I declined the insurance multiple times. They told me they'd give me a month for free, which I also declined. A couple days later I decide to check my account to see what my new total monthly payment will be and there is two additional services that were added to my plan. The insurance coverage, that I specifically did not want, and an upgrade on my hotspot data allowance. Both of these services I never authorized or requested be added to my plan. This seems to be a common occurrence with Verizon. The main things you should take from all this is to (a) hope your phone never goes into SOS mode because no one will be able to help you; and (b) if you make any upgrades or changes in the store, make sure you check your account when you get home. I'm about 90% sure you'll have unauthorized additional services added to your plan.

A Cricket employee named Nathan B was instantly there to offer service. I told him I wanted a cricket phone number or SIM to go in the phone I brought in with me. He looked at the phone for a bit, then informed me that it wasn't an "unlocked" phone, (it absolutely is unlocked) and also told me my Samsung Galaxy A13 was not compatible with Cricket networks. This upset me because I really didn't want another phone at all. He said he had a Motorola promotion that would fix all my problems. I said I could possibly spend about a hundred, but then he rang it all up and my total was $158.64. I was upset again that I was now dipping into my rent money, but I gave him 8 20s which was 160.00 dollars. After he told me my due date couldn't be changed from the 30th of the month (even though my disability check comes on the first and third), I had to really dig deep and really make certain whether or not I made the correct decision in getting that cheap Motorola G Play. After I paid him all the cash he told me my phone really WAS compatible but that he made a mistake. My Brothers well-known attorney told me the next day to take the phone back to Cricket and get my money back, mostly because he felt I had been taken advantage of. On October 31st, the next morning I returned the phone. I was told I would be getting only $11.00 dollars back out of the $160 dollars I gave them, and the rest would be going towards some kind of fee. In just a few hours cricket had been successful of basically stealing my money , robbing me of my cash and even getting their phone back. When i got the $11.00 dollars back instead of my $160.00 I hurried outside and called 911, because I was just robbed by cricket for all my money. Even though I for sure think it was an emergency, the 911 people said it wasn't and that the only thing I could do was file a complaint. He said I had a right to picket the company from a public sidewalk, and I thought that was a great idea, since their store windows were directly adjacent to the public sidewalk, and next to that was a very busy street called Chapman avenue, where maybe thousands of people going right by me and reading my neon green giant poster board that has printed on it in bold and bright lettering "Cricket customers, please ...BEWARE! They will SCAM you for sure, especially if disabled or elderly!!" and on the other side, "Dont get SCAMMED by Cricket Wireless!" I cancelled some important surgery appointment and then made a plan for myself to be out there , right in front of Cricket, with my sign and wave and hold my sign in the air from the time they open until noon, then a few more hours in the mid afternoon, so everyone can know how they are pure and evil scammers who prey and exploit and take advantage of those of whom suffer various mental deficiencies and limited intellect. I'm going to be there , starting Monday, every day of the week, about 4 or 5 hours a day, holding my sign high in the air, to warn others who might be coming to this shady business to get a phone, and easily make them more aware of your despicable treatment of disabled people, and all your theft schemes and practices , which must generate a TON of additional free money for the whole Cricket crew. This is going to be an important learning lesson I'm about to unleash upon you, and an extremely humiliating one, mostly because you stole money from the wrong person this time. You will be exposed, enjoy the consequences of your collective horrific behaviors.

I originally brought it in knowing it was an older computer, but I was very clear that it contained years of irreplaceable photos that I wanted to recover. I was advised by their team to purchase a replacement screen on eBay, which I did, and they installed it. After the repair, I was unable to access the laptop because I forgot my password. Apple support advised me that resetting the computer would erase all data, including my photos. Because of that, I brought the laptop back to this shop specifically to extract the photos, and I was told this was something they could do. Since then, communication has been terrible. I have called multiple times asking for updates. Each time, I'm told the person helping me will call me back and they never do. No updates, no explanations, no follow-through. At this point, I just want to know: what is the hold up? Keeping a customer's computer for months with no communication is unacceptable. I'm hoping this review finally prompts someone to reach out and help resolve this situation, because my attempts to do so directly have gone nowhere.

I'd felt like I'd been overpaying for internet service from Cox and both neighbors and family members recommended trying T-Mobile as they were getting excellent service while paying half of what I was. I have my phone service with T-Mobile so decided to give them a try for internet. The store itself is immaculate and the people working here are friendly, professional, and helpful. Sarah enthusiastically helped me, providing me with a wealth of information, answering all my questions, and informing me about a special free offer they had for long-term customers like me (I've had my cell service with them for 17 years). She was the epitome of exemplary customer service. I liked that T-Mobile gave me a week to try the internet service out and, if it didn't work well or I didn't like it, I could return the equipment, no charge. Sarah told me to call her if I had any problem setting up the system, placed my new router (they call it Gateway) and amplifier (Mesh) in a bag, and off I went. While this review is for the store experience and superb customer service, I must say that after an easy set-up, I'm quite happy with my T-Mobile internet service.
