I was really excited about the concept of this place. It reminds me of the first breakfast meal you have after a long flight back to China to visit the grandparents. That was always usually my favorite food of the trip. We went at 11 am on a Sunday. The place I think opens early, around 8 or so. It was starting to get packed at 11. There are 6 4 seater tables in the back and like three large tables outside, the place is small. You order at the kiosk. You serve yourself water and you bus your own tables. We got the: Chili wontons: good flavors, meat was tender You tiai: It was huge for the 3$ price tag and they keep sugar at the table. It was yummy and classic Pork buns: well seasons and juicy. The bun part had a pleasing sweetness My husband got the ma po tofu which he seemed to enjoy. Of note, online the menu has pork and preserved egg congee but when we got there we didn't see it on the kiosk menu. Place was full of Chinese people. There was a big line when we left 40 minutes later. To be safe I think try to go before 1030 on the weekend. Happy eating! read more

menu looks enticing, food is MID. honestly i would come here ONLYYY for the jianbing. the jianbing was genuinely rlly good and easily the highlight. such a good medley of flavors that blended really well together, plus you get that mix of soft and crunchy textures in every bite. kinda reminded me of 蚵仔煎 flavor-wise, just without that chewy/starchy texture. and for only like $7-8 for 2 huge pieces?? WORTHHH. i genuinely enjoyed this and would come back specifically for it. unfortunately everything else did not follow the salty soybean milk was SOUR. idek how else to describe what i tasted besides: incorrect flavors. i've had savory soy milk before and whatever was happening here just did not taste right to me. not to mention the 油條 was hard as a rock... the mantou was lowkey probably the biggest disappointment bc i LOVE mantou and rlly tried to like this one. it tasted like straight flour and water -- no milky flavor, no subtle sweetness, no nothing. just bun. texture/flavor-wise there was nothing that made me want another bite. it was really big and heavy, one is enough to stuff you for a whole day. and then i found a hair embedded inside the mantou... overall, the menu had me way more excited than the actual food did. i wouldn't personally come back for a full meal, BUT i would absolutely come back, order the jianbing, pay my $7-8, and happily leave. jianbing is literally carrying. also tip, there's a lot of seats in the back so don't get discouraged if the line is long and there are no seats outside. read more

New breakfast place in town. I ordered the jianbing, tea egg, egg-stuffed youtiao, three-flavor dumplings, and soybean milk. The jianbing had very little flavor. The tea egg was nothing special, it tasted like a regular boiled egg. The egg-stuffed youtiao was very oily and not crispy, which was disappointing. The three-flavor dumplings came without any sauce, and the wrappers were very thick with not much filling. The soybean milk was okay, but nothing memorable. The place is small and cozy, but it didn't feel very clean. The service was okay. Overall, I prefer Tao Rice Roll. In my opinion, this place is overrated. We dropped by for breakfast. The food was great. I love the wonton soup. And the pork buns were great too. I recommend the mild spicy seaweed salad with peanuts. Not too spicy but very fragrant. Service was fast and friendly. read more

OMG we were getting matcha right next door and walked by this mini restaurant, it was so packed inside so we decided to give them a try. They sell Chinese breakfast food and it looked so good. We got the Egg-stuffed Youtiao and the Spicy Jianbing. The Youtiao is like a Chinese fried doughnuts and it was massive and very crispy. The dough was so nice and airy inside as well, but it was pretty oily. The spicy jianbing was like a pancake with egg and sausages inside, it was massive!! They cut it in half so in the picture they were on top of each other. The food was so so good!! I can't wait to come back and try more food from them, their soy milk looks great :) read more

This place is still working out the kinks, but it has some promise. There simply is not much competition for Chinese breakfast here so we were so excited to try it. Unfortunately so was everyone else so it was packed & service was quite slow. It took more than half an hour to get the food. The Chinese donut was definitely the best item, very crispy & great portion size. The crepe was a bit of a disappointment, definitely not traditional. Also it was huge! The soy milk was good but could have been colder. There is limited seating inside (you also order off an iPad) but there is some seating outside as well. They were swamped & we had to clear a table ourselves. I would probably wait a bit for things to die down to go try it again. read more

Worth a visit if you are around. Mostly serves Asian food for breakfast and lunch. The dumplings are delicious. This place is kind of small. Tasty new Chinese breakfast spot filling a whole we completely had up here in Frisco! Their soy milk is decent though compared to the OG Taiwan cafe, it's hard not to want more. Their jianbing is better than elsewhere and will keep me coming for more. You order at the front and then head to the back to wait for you food. They'll bring it to you, just be aware only a couple tables exist back there. read more

Some of these reviews make us question whether or not people were paid to give good reviews, if they've ever had good chinese breakfast to compare this to, or its just that taste is subjective. The food is just okay. The egg stuffed fried chinese donut (you tiao) was surpisingly our favorite out of everything we ordered--not too oily yet still had a decent crisp. The flavor, texture, and toppings of the chinese crepe (jian bian) were all a bit lacking. My husband said it reminded him of taco bell but not in a good way. The savory tofu pudding started to taste more and more salty as you ate it so I only ate half and saved the other half for later. I wish they had sweet tofu pudding on their menu to try. The hot soy milk with sugar added was better than what you get from 99 ranch at least but could be stronger in flavor. The cold herbal soy milk with sugar added was also light in flavor. This place did not satisfy our chinese breakfast cravings but then again, we don't know where else to find a place like this in the area. read more

Enjoyed the soy milk with fried dough, the crepe, the savory tofu, the dumplings and the fresh and soft wontons. Will definitely be back. Their fried dough if air fried might be crispier but otherwise loved the food! Soft opening at this time so limited changing menu daily. Come and support local! read more

Absolutely terrible food. Went here excited to try some fried dough sticks, mala tofu soup, Jian bing, tea egg and soy milk and soy milk latte. Food is swimming in oil. The fried dough sticks were soaked in oil to the point that 6 napkins were needed to soak it all up for one dough stuck. The tofu soup was bland and oily with no numbingness. The jian bing was extremely mediocre. Barely any pickled vegetables inside. Tea egg wasn't fully marinated and looked like a boiled egg. Overcooked to the point the yolk was completely green and tasted like a boiled egg . Soy milk was tasted water down with barely any soy taste. Latte just tasted like the soy milk. Best of all I waited for 30 min and the food was lukewarm at best. read more
