Very disappointed with my experience. From the beginning JB was very short and unknowledgeable. There were many questions I had that ultimately were answered through my independent research. Which, always helps but would surely would guarantee more sales for him. I had settled on going to another dealership , Kia, as I was so dissatisfied with JB only to find that Honda and Kia are subsidiaries. So ultimately I was stuck with him. Within three months of my used-care purchase of a 2013 Chevy Cruze I found: windshield wiper failure, ignition system failure, no windshield wiper fluid, no anti-freeze fluid, oil was really dark and gunky. Thankfully these experiences have only brought the opportunity for lessons as I am more aware of what to ask, check and prepare for when encountering a dealership/salesman going forward. Within the first month , I called the service department at Prescott Honda to ask for my next projected oil change as their was no sticker on the windshield or paperwork indicating the last oil change. The representative explained she did not know and that when it was time it "should show on your dashboard." Hmm....OK! A month later , I am driving WHILE IT IS RAINING and my one of the wipers flies off on the interstate. To see if I installed it correctly I used the windshield cleaner setting and...THERE IS NO FLUID IN THE RESERVOIR. I full the reservoir and check the rest of the fluids only to find there is also no anti-freeze. A month after that and the ignition system is messed up. It had done it one time before but then it starts locking each time I try and take the key out. I go to the dealership as I have, ironically, this issue covered under my $100 deductible service contract. However , the Service department in Lamb Chevy have been PHENOMENAL: patient , direct, honest, knowledgeable and diligent in getting things done. I normally don't invest in these reviews but..... I am hurt and disappointed that Prescott Honda (as a unit) would sell and treat me this way. They are a manifestation of the stigma attached to dealerships and salesman. read more

They did however recognized that this so called paint protectant is a failure that they refunded my $495 - false advertisement comes to mind. I am filing a law suit next week to force them to take responsibility for this. The cost of the paint job according to them is $1000 or so... Test drove a 2014 Honda Civic with James. I let him know i didn't want to talk money today. He respected that. Called him a couple days later and asked him for his best out the door price. He gave that to me without hassle. I shopped all over the Valley. Turns out James gave me a no hassle price that beat everyone else by at least $500. I waited a few more days to wheel and deal with other dealers in the Valley and Flagstaff. Non of them beat the deal Prescott Honda gave me. This no pressure no hassle ordeal was quite unusual to me since I'm not used to getting a good price without going to war first. He even gave me a call the next day after the purchase to check in on me to see if I had any questions about the vehicle. James really did an excellent job! I will be returning to him for my next purchase. To the people who haven't had that great of an experience coming to this place and shopping, try talking to James. He's a great guy who really cares more about his customers rather than his paycheck. read more

My husband and I were very nervous about purchasing a new car since its been 17 years since I've gotten a new car and have had bad experiences in the past. Well our salesman totally changed our minds about the whole car buying experience. Bert was the nicest, most considerate salesman you could ever ask for. He knew what points were most important to us and really made sure all those things were met and to our satisfaction. Both him and the sales manager Jeff were so accomodating and genuine people. The finance dept, Kelly was also exceptional and explained all the coverages to us. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're considering buying a new car ASK FOR BERT at Prescott Honda!! I will never want to buy a car from anyone else again. He even took the time after the sale to take pictures for us and sit in the car and explain all the features before he left for the day (we were there after close). I brought my 2007 Honda Fit to get a new battery. As soon as I drove up I was greeted and the service person took care of me. I was not sure if we needed a battery or not so they checked it and showed me I did. They got my car in right away and told me what the cost would be which I felt was reasonable after checking with my regular mechanic. After the car was done I had excellent service from the young man that helped me. I asked if anything else should be done because I had recently purchased the car and it has low miles even if it is a 2007. They did not try and steer me wrong and told me only one belt should maybe be changed due to the oldness of the car and not the mileage. I was surprised when I went to get in my car they had even washed it. That is something most car dealerships do not do. I recently had a new bumper put on my mercedes and when I picked up my car after having it fixed it was not even washed. I would definitely go back to Prescott Honda. read more

I recently took my 2004 Civic to Prescott Honda for scheduled servicing. Appointment was made online. While scheduling vehicle service via the online schedule feature still has problems, my service rep, Noble,professionalo determine my requirements for this visit, which included replacement of the passenger air bag inflater per safety recall.Noble is a top notch professional, he got my Civic into the maintenance que. 90 minutes later my car was ready, Noble went over everything that his technicians prrformed, inspected and recommended to have done during next service visit. Prescott Honda Service department is second to none in customer service. My experience over the years with their Service representatives, whether it be Noble or Kelly (now service manager) has always been cordial, professional, and respectful. Let me just say, Prescott Honda treats you and your vehicle like family. They care!! read more

Prescott Honda has been providing my service for about five years now and I've always been happy with their service people. Sometimes it takes a little bit longer to do a job then they estimated but it's never been a lot longer. Dave, the service manager that I have been working with the most, is great! He even came and picked me up in a snowstorm one time so that I could get my car back when I had to leave it there earlier in the day and they closed the road that I live on. He was able to get YCSO to let him through the closure so he could come and pick me up at my house and drive me back to the shop to get my car. Their prices are reasonable and they don't try to sell you anything that you don't need. read more

Charles Higgins did a fantastic job working with my mother on her selection and purchase of a new car. He recognized she was not interested in tech specifications or "salesman jargon". Instead he was very personable and able to recognize what she needed from a vehicle and explained how the chosen vehicle would fit her needs. He was also extremely patient with explaining features, how to set up the navigation and phone sync options, and respectfully met her at her level tech savvyness. On top of his friendly demeanor, he was not pushy and even maintained a professional but understanding approach during the price negotiation. I wasn't in to buy a New Fit, I came in for a regular service for my 2010 Fit. My sister/I were looking at the New 2016 Fit's, when Steve Berg approached us, I told him I wasn't interested in a new Fit. Steve let us drool over the new 2016 Fit, then said he could make us great deal, & they were having a President Day, sell at the moment. I said: give it your best shot! I liked Steve very much, he wasn't pushy, & showed us what a great deal he could make, from trade in to extras. It must have worked because I am a brand New Owner of a 2016 Fit!!! Just bought a vehicle! Hawaiian Ray and Brian both handled the transaction and were super!! Both are very personable, knowledgeable and accommodating. My hubby and I had lots of questions, test drove a couple different vehicles and found the car perfect for us. Ray and Brian worked hard to make the best deal for us....for what fit our budget. Im not from the area so I really had no idea what my experience would be. I went in with the typical expectations but spent a day going back and forth with Abel and it was worth the extra time. I almost stepped way. Saw a similar vehicle at Findlay across the street and spoke to one of their salesmen but they weren't interested in selling any cars that day. Ended up back at Honda and the rest is history. Best experience I've had buying a vehicle. Abel was my guy but everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. Makes a big difference to a southern guy like myself. I don't recommend Findlay Just based of first impression. read more

Allen the general manager is always been friendly and extremely helpful, Mike the sales manager remembers my name after three years, I know that doesn't seem like much but it makes the experience very personal and special. I purchased my Honda CRV on 8/14/2015 from Prescott Honda. Not only do I love, love my CRV, but the buying experience was the best car buying experience I've ever had. The selling representative I dealt with was Ruth Johnson, and I would highly recommend her. She was honest, knowledgeable, and very thorough with teaching me what I needed to know about my CRV before I drove it off the car lot. If you usually go to Phoenix to purchase your vehicles, you really need to first go to Prescott Honda and see what they have to offer.
