After having my surprise and bonus of acquiring a shop rag that was caught sticking out the front of my truck, I had my truck back into the service dept for another common Ram Hemi 5.7's. This time it had a loud noise that emitted from the exhaust manifold area and that's the best I can describe it, it sounded like I had glass packs for my exhaust. I'm told that our youth intentionally cause those loud noises. Hopefully you can tell I'm not a mechanic. Service writers name was Jake. Very nice and seemed to listen to me trying to describe my trucks issue, he pretty much already knew what was wrong. Guessing the Rams Hemi 5.7 is known to have the issue of one or both of the exhaust manifolds crack, break, or whatever happens to them. Cast iron parts. And as luck has it, he had to order the parts. Jake put my one manifold on order since they are a hot commodity. No bun intended. To no fault of Jake the part was back ordered. He said that the truck was safe to drive but just louder than it should be. Going on about a month later, not hearing anything from Jake I placed a call to him. He explained that due to the manufacture's being on strike, parts were even that much more delayed. Hate it when that happens. Dam unions. Haha Finally, almost 3 months go by I got the call from Jake that the part finally arrived. It was kind of like receiving the late night call your heart in need of a transplant, had been found and a perfect match. Well ok it wasn't quite like that. But any ways. So the appointment was made. Today Jake was out of the office, probably due to the holidays, and I was connected to a service writer named Tony. Guessing that perhaps York Ram has cloned their service advisors as Tony treated me like Jake did. I feel he went out of his way to get my truck in and out as fast as possible but completely repaired. It was found that not only did the right exhaust, the original issue, they found that the left manifold was leaking as well. Thinking to myself, oh crap here we go again, but this time Tony must have a magic wand and they had the part in stock. Now both manifolds are replaced and man what a huge difference. I can actually talk to my family without yelling. Well ok, it wasn't that bad noise wise. Still louder than normal. The repairs took about 5 hours, and I see the mechanic did a routine inspection of the major components and systems and thankfully he or she found no other problems that was lurking and about to need servicing. All in all I'm very pleased with the work done today and getting my baby blue, a dumb name I call her, back on the road yet again. Lol But I'm kind of saddened I didn't get a surprise or bonus as in the past. Hahaha No shop rags was left behind for me to add to the collection. Lol. Maybe next time. First off appointments dont mean much as my truck sat for a day and a half before being seen, After i told them my seat belts were not retracting properly and telling them i already cleaned the pivot point at home, they proceeded to tell me and i quote a bunch of debris in the pivot point and charged me $124 to clean them without consulting with me first. . No change what so ever. They did a warranty repair and washed truck so not all was bad. Not happy with them. I only ask for Honesty. read more

After being contacted by the Better Business Bureau, the manager of the dealership called to offer to replace the windshield. By this point I had already replaced the glass through my insurance company. This matter was eventually settled out of court using the Better Business Bureau as an intermediary. read more

I go here for my oil changes since they always have good coupons for it and luckily they seem to get that right. I've had warranty work done twice and one of the jobs was very sub par. Had to replace the rubber CV boot for my front drive shaft coming out of the transfer case. Tech used a plastic zip tie to seal the boot instead of a OEM Oetiker style metal clamp. Luckily I always check their work and noticed it right away. The tech excuse was that it's just a dust boot and doesn't hold grease. I'm sure if RAM could save a few cents by using a plastic zip tie from the factory they would have. Keep in my mind this is also on a Power Wagon and you can tell by looking at it that it's gets serious off road use and dirt and mud would have found it's way in that joint. Funny how they always bombard me with messages to complete their customer satisfaction surveys (they get dealer perks for high ratings) but in this case I never once was asked to fill out a survey. read more

In the past, i have been happy with my experience at York Dodge. Just recently, i made an appointment, weeks in advance, to have my car serviced. The first day after leaving it, i received a call telling me they hadn't looked at it yet. Then the 2nd day the same. Then it was the weekend, so i called to check on it on Monday, nothing. No one called me back, so by Thursday, i was pretty angry and asked to speak with a new service member. Finally, at this point, they decided to look at. Luckily, things happened quickly from there. The jeep had been completely detailed, full tank of fuel and the documents prepared. Corey, the finance manager, was also great to work with. He ran through all the documents with us and went out of his way to cover any & all of our questions. The 2024 Sahara is a bit different, electronically vs my wife's 2016 Sahara. Joshua took an hour setting up the nav, her phone, contacts and showing her all the Uconnect system options and assisting with setting up all the shortcuts she wanted. This is NOT about York anymore. It's about Jeep's corporate headquarters, but I can't find them in this forum. I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, which has about 46,000 miles on it. On the First of January, my engine light came on. I took it to the dealership from which the vehicle was purchased, York, on the Second. A problem with the thermostat was diagnosed. Now, a month later, the light is still on all the time, and I am advised that the thermostat is on back-order, with no projected date for delivery. Does Jeep not understand the concept of "Implied Contract?" It is a well established legal reality, and Jeep is way outside the requirements of same. If the matter is not resolved soon, I will at least explore the possibility of legal action. Enough has become ENOUGH! read more

ABSOLUTELY NEVER EVER go to this dealership. I would rate this negative stars if I could. We brought my jeep in because it was leaking oil everywhere. They "fixed" the leak but gave me back the vehicle with the check engine light on. We didn't even leave the parking lot when we returned the vehicle back to them to look at AGAIN. After waiting hours for a phone call, we called them and they said they couldn't look at it and maybe will get to it the next day. When I talked to the manager, they told me the check engine light wasn't their problem and they are completely okay with giving me my vehicle back with the check engine light on. The dealership services two of my vehicles (Ram trucks) and every time I take my trucks in for servicing the experience has been outstanding. My service adviser is Tony Nichols. Tony defines the word "professional"! He explains the repair issue in great detail and answers every question without hesitation. He is never rushed and always has a smile to greet you when you arrive and when you pick up your vehicle (not the case with other dealerships). The dealership has always been fair to me and has never tried to "push" a repair or service that is not needed or required. In addition, I would like to thank repair tech "Eli". Unprofessional service and unprofessional employees. I dropped my jeep off for diagnosis and repair on a Monday at 7 30 AM for an appointment I had for over a month. I dealt with Tony V and at first he seemed kind but made the mistake of admitting that they get paid less for warranty work (which was what I had) and hinted at the fact technicians weren't as fond of it. Tony told me that morning that he would hope to have my jeep diagnosed by that afternoon (Monday) and even if he didn't, he would give me a call and let me know. He never called me. I gave him Monday AND Tuesday to call me back and never recieved a call, so I called myself on Wednesday and was told they should be working on it and he would give me a call that day (Wednesday) regardless if they had recieved a diagnosis yet or not. Still no call. I am also an automotive tech myself and know it does not take 4 days to diagnose a vehicle, and if it does, you're slacking hard. Thursday, I called again around 3PM and informed Tony he never called me and I am still waiting to hear back. His response was 'we just talked yesterday didn't we?' Full knowing he never called me and I have been the one calling him time and time again. He still didn't have much word for me that day. Friday was the first time he called me around 9 am and told me it was for sure the PTU and they are replacing it now and it should be done by end of day Friday and if not, definitely Monday and that he would give me a call to update me that day. I never recieved a call once again and waited the weekend until Monday around 3 PM with still no call and decided to call again myself. Tony was out of the office that day and never relayed info to anyone about my car or to get a hold of me. I talk to a lady that told me they were STILL working on my jeep and it wouldn't be done until tomorrow (Tuesday). This is when I had enough and asked to speak to a supervisor. I don't recall his name but I know he was the service supervisor/manager. He said he would straighten things out and to come get my jeep tomorrow (Tuesday). I get there to pick up my jeep and Tony tells me 'oh yeah and your key fab doesn't work'. Which it worked perfectly fine when I dropped it off and I let him know that and that it needed to be fixed. They put a new battery in and it was fixed but the fact that they tried to send me off with a non working key fab knowing they could have fixed it just as easily as they did is rediculous. Especially since when I first dropped my jeep, Tony asked 'is there anything else you want us to take a look at since it's warranty work'. And I have a bumper to bumper warranty which I'm sure would have covered the key battery so why not just fix it to begin with? And the supervisor was well aware and even okay with me recieving my key not working. Also, I recieved a text asking if I had any concerns and if not to fill out a survey sent to my email. I never recieved the survey and texted the number asking for the survey and never recieved any reply. Being a tech, I know this was horrible business practice and horrible treatment of a customer. All customers should be treated the same, regardless of warranty work or not. And these service advisors need to be careful who they try and get one over on, especially with women. You never know who is a tech. Treat people correctly and do business with integrity! read more

About three months ago my DEF Guage wouldn't work. I took it to York and they told me to drop it off on Tuesday at 12:30. I called at 5 pm and they didn't even look at it. They told me I'd have to drop it off so they could pull it apart, they said it would be covered under warranty. Three days later they called and said they had bad news for me, they said I had diesel in my DEF tank and that it would not be covered under warranty. How in holy hell do you put diesel in your DEF tank? They then told me that they would have to replace the tank, the pump, the injector and the DEF lines at the cost of $2,000. I asked for the replacement parts back. When I went to pick the truck up they told me they washed the old tank out and reused it. They told me in the beginning that they couldn't wash the old parts because of contamination. My cost for repairs were around $2500 I paid it thinking they'd send me a review, they didn't. I wanted to get Ram involved. I talked to a good friend of mine that works for a dealership in the northeast and said to call customer service. This wasn't the first time I had a problem with this dealership. Six months after I purchased this vehicle from them, I brought it in for a oil change and fuel filters. It took them four and a half hours. Now I take my Ram in for service at Oxendale in cottonwood. read more

Bought our Jeep at BILL LUKE in Phoenix. A year later we had a warranty/recall item on the steering. We also had a safety item that needed to be addressed. We called for the repairs and were told, "you're a month out." A steering issue and they couldn't address it for a month? We showed up on the scheduled day/time and were met by absolute rudeness by the service advisor. Their rudeness was so abrupt we almost asked for a different advisor. We also discussed taking the vehicle to another Jeep dealership...but the fear of having to wait even longer unfortunately kept us at York. Fast forward to vehicle pickup...It took a collaborative effort by a cashier and two service techs to locate our vehicle. It literally took 20 to 25 minutes before we were presented with our keys. They then asked, "is your vehicle under the canopy?" Um...I don't know, you tell me. Our keys were taken again and a few minutes later here came our vehicle at a rather high speed and engine revving. Next, they hit the brakes and came to an abrupt halt near us. As for the warranty/recall...the steering was repaired but the other item that was brought to their attention a month earlier had to be ordered. Really? You had a month and you knew exactly what the part was. Now I have to come back to deal with disastrous dealership? Bottom line, if you enjoy an overpriced dealership, rude service advisors and a complete lack of anything resembling customer service...York Chrysler Dodge Ram Yugo Jeep AMC Pacer is the place for you. As for management...I can only assume they don't give a rat's rump because the dealership's reputation is a complete joke and it has been for years. read more

I've been a customer of York Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram for probably 10+ years and have leased approximately 4+ vehicles from them and last year bought one from them. Just totally terrific to deal with. I've always felt that the people working at York care about what they are doing.... John, the Business Mgr., Josh, the Sales Mgr. and the people working in Sales and Service always are extremely positive whenever I've dealt with them. I've always felt that I was being dealt with fair and square. Have there ever been any problems? YES!!...HOWEVER, the problems (only mechanical) have been very few and the few that I've had, have been corrected way beyond my satisfaction. I feel that York is fair and loyal to me all the time. 10/15/22-Sean Hippe, Cody and the receptionist were professional, patient, accurate and a pleasure to talk too. Despite being extremely understaffed, management seriously needs to fix this issue, my vehicle was ready after 3hrs and 15min, estimated time was 1.5hrs. This was my very first time visiting the dealership, hoped to make it my new JEEP home. I had a check engine Light on my 2017 Ram so called the York Service Department. The earliest I could get in was a month wait. When I get there, finally, I was told I would have to leave it for the day. Since I was In Dewey, I was outside where they would drive me. I had to call my wife for a lift. I waited all day, then at four o'clock called to see why I had not been called and was told they could not get to me. If I want another Dodge, it will not be with them. read more

I would rate York Dodge Chrysler Jeep a 0 if I could. I took my Ram in for 120,000 mile maintenance, inspection and tires, I was not having any issues with the truck. I recently moved back up to Prescott area and was looking for a honest, professional repair shop to take my truck too. It was in the dealership for three days, no communication from the dealer, I had to call several times to find out if it was ready. The morning after I picked my truck up there was a puddle of fluid on in the driveway under the truck. I looked at the receipt from York and it stated that I had a P/S leak. It would have been nice if the SERVICE ADVISOR would have called me and let me know BEFORE I picked the truck up so that I could have had it fixed. I will be going elsewhere to have this fixed. My advise is to stay away. read more

This place is a joke, my husband and I are retired military, we have lived over all over the US, we have purchased many cars all over the US, and I have to say this place is by far the worst I've ever seen. The website has one price listed, you contact them, they write up the paperwork, and all over a sudden the listed price online is not what they quote you. They tell you it's because of finance charges. Huh, what does finance charge have to do with the listed price online?! Every dealership I have ever worked with always tries their hardest to get your payments where you want, they crunch numbers, they try to give you more for your trade, they bring the price down some, etc. This place obviously does not want your business because they just tell you they can't get it any lower, this is what your APR is going to be, and they really low ball. Also, keep in mind we have excellent credit, however, when I asked them if I could use my bank to finance the vehicle they told me that I wouldn't get any of the incentives on said vehicle. This place is really shady, and I would be leery of doing buisness with them. read more

He was awesome to deal with...not pushy, extremely thorough and had no problem spending the extra time with us ensuring we understood how everything worked. He even followed up with us the next day to make sure we were happy and if we needed any additional help. The vehicle needed to go back to have a few things done on it and he had it back to us the same day! It was a probably the easiest purchase we've ever made....and that says a lot. I guess when you're the only jeep dealer within a 2 hour drive you can get away with whatever you want. To date, I have no complaints about the actual service, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. 1) You can't make appointments for an oil change, so have to be helped on a first come first serve basis. 2) I pulled up and after a few minutes asked an employee if I should wait with the car or check in inside - he responded in a surly tone , "technically you should wait for someone to come out, but with so many people moving here, we don't have enough people so do whatever you want." Real helpful. 3)a women showed up when they opened to pick up her vehicle, but the cashier was running an hour late so she had to wait, apparently no one else can take your money. A little cross training might be helpful. What if she hadn't shown up at all - you can't pick up your vehicle? As soon as my free services run out, I'll look for another place to take my vehicle. I really wish this dealership had some competition- maybe they'd strive to raise their standards. read more

I bought a part from service over the phone. They never disclosed any restocking fee to me. When the advisor told me I didn't need the part I said I didn't need it anymore. The man who I canceled the order from sighed and said he was charging a restocking fee of 20 percent. Spoke with the manager who was just as incompetent and he didn't understand the problem. Was told the Auto Butler service will take 2-3 hours. When I bought the Jeep, the sales manager would not let me complete the purchase until I added Auto Butler, which I said repeatedly I didn't want it. Later I found out prices were much lower in Goodyear. Yes, I feel stupid for wanting to stay local. read more
