Love this place!!! It's in a very quiet location between businesses, but they did so much with the area that it's very calm and relaxing. The drinks are amazing!!!!! & the crepes are SO good. The baristas were very friendly and took their time and love to make our drinks and food. Outside is really neat! You can sit in the shade/sun in one of the lounge areas, or play mini golf! There's even a bean bag toss game. Looks like there's more to be added soon.. saw a fountain being worked on. Overall, really nice and calm. Very sweet environment. I would go again!

This is a great coffee shop in Irvine near the Hampton Inn and John Wayne Airport in Orange County. Lots of great seating inside and out. Excellent vibe and relaxing music. People bring their dogs which completed the Socal coffee feeling. Now, the coffee. The T2 espresso machine puts out a great espresso and quickly. I'm calling it the Coffee Terminator. I opted for this over my usual black drip or pour over (sadly no pour over). I ordered the grilled croissant with egg, cheese and bacon. It was so tasty I forgot to take a photo, sorry for that! This is a place worthy of stopping by. A lot of loving care went into everything at Press & Moka. Tables, music, tables and cups. I liked the cups so much I bought one! Open on Sunday, too.

This was my favorite find in Irvine this week! I was staying at the Hilton and everyone suggested this place for "real coffee" and that's the case- I returned a few times (it's a very short walk from the Hilton) and tried a few of their specialty and seasonal drinks- everything was great They also have very friendly and efficient service and IG-worthy seating outside - Cannot remember the woman's name that was so awesome but she's a Snoopy fangirl like me so thanks, chica!

It's a charming place. I went there on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of paid parking, which they validate for two hours. I liked their French-style interior and additional seats outside. I ordered the strawberry crepes and the mocha with oat milk. The food was ok, but the mocha wad too watered down. I can only assume they didn't shake the oat milk carton first, as that can result in a very watery drink. Service: 5 | Ambiance: 5 | Parking: 3 | Drinks: 2 Food: 4

Super cute space! The location is perfect and the amount of outdoor seating is amazing! You could sit by the water feature you or could sit out in the sun. There's so many options. The Wi-Fi works excellently. They have a ton of sandwich and crêpe options. The coffee is great! No complaints. The staff was nice and really helpful when it came to finalizing my order. The indoor space is pretty small, so just keep that in mind. I don't recall seeing a restroom.

2/27/26 Overrated. But, is it worth it? It took them quite a bit of time to acknowledge me with a very uncomfortable silence. I took off a star just for that. There was just that one customer ahead of me who happened to ask questions that took the staff 's attention for a while. There was nobody else in line besides myself. The barista just stared at me until he realized "oh yes, let me say Hi" I'm big on service it wasn't boding well. The aesthetics was impressive though, I will give them that. The space is small indoors, a good ) sets of tables/chairs to accommodate about a dozen patrons. The pastry shelf boasted a few enticing morsels, limited but interesting selection. When the staff finally was freed from the customer who asked some long questions, she was attentive. I ordered what looked enticing, the S'mores Biscoff. In hindsight, I should've gone with my usual to compare to other coffee shops (hot oat milk latte). I'm thoroughly enamor with the spacious accommodations of their outdoor area. It was a very hot day in February but it was cool outside. There was plenty of tables & chairs, natural greenery & even a waterfall. One could really spend a good afternoon savoring a good cup here. The beverage was so tiny (see photos). For over $9, it sure was stunning (for its stature & content). It was more of dessert than a drink but it was delicious, if you prefer your beverage on the sweeter side. It is lovely though. Would I order it again? Perhaps not I will stick to my oat milk latte. The view: 5/5, drink: 3/5, service: 3.5/5 Will I return to give em a fair shake? Why the heck not? The view is worth it if in the area lol

I've been here a couple times before today. We decided to come today for Newport restaurant week menu. It's a pretty good deal for a drink, sandwich from their list, and two beignets. They do validate parking when you park in their garage for two hours. They have a wide variety of seating outside, only when the weather is nice. Otherwise, there's only a few tables on the inside. I enjoyed that they have several housemaid syrups. You can have your pic of coffee. So I really do enjoy their drinks. As for the sandwich, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on ricotta bread. It was actually more bread than fillings. The chicken I thought was lacking. But it did have good flavors. My friend's avocado toast looked good, but very small for the price. The beignets were basically two donut holes, so I wouldn't get that again. Overall, I would come back for their coffee drinks. SYOY!

Amazing! Great coffee! great crêpes! They validate parking, so make sure to bring in your ticket! Indoor seating is limited, but outdoor seating is available. Staff is helpful and patient.

This café has such a cozy European vibe and feels like the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. The atmosphere was warm, clean, and super inviting with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. We tried both the sweet and savory crepes, and they were SO delicious! The crepes were soft, fresh, and full of flavor. Perfect balance between sweet treats and savory brunch vibes. We also ordered the matcha latte and lavender latte, and both drinks were amazing. The matcha latte was smooth and creamy, while the lavender latte had such a light floral flavor that felt super relaxing and unique. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and one thing I really appreciated was the FREE 2-hour parking, which made everything so much easier and stress-free. The outdoor seating area was peaceful and aesthetic, making it such a cute place for coffee dates, brunch, or even getting work done on your laptop. Definitely a hidden gem in OC! Can't wait to come back again and try more drinks and pastries!

Came by on a Sunday afternoon for some light breakfast. Parking is thru the structure so remember to get your ticket validated! The cafe is tucked in a quiet office building space with lots of outside seating making a really nice peaceful breakfast. The staff was super nice and sweet and helpful. I loved the French themed menu, it takes me back to walking into a little cafe in Paris. They have breakfast items like croque monsieur, croissant sandwiches, and a wide variety of crepes. You could also turn any crepe into an omelette! My bf ordered the smores biscoff drink and we got a jambon fromage crepe, croque madame, and a Romeo Juliet crepe which is like strawberries bananas and Nutella. I loved each breakfast item, the crepes were made to perfection and my bf loved the coffee! Definitely coming back because we loved the vibe of this little spot so much.

Parking does not seem to be free since there's a security arm that's present once you get a ticket at the entrance of the parking lot. I stopped by this cafe after dropping my rental car off at green motion thats 10-15 min walk away from this location. I got a matcha latte, nonfat milk, and added lavender syrup to it. Service was quick and there's plenty of food and drink options available. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating at the cafe. In addition to that, there's more seating nearby outside the cafe as well. Bathroom is across the cafe inside the building. Would definitely love to visit again if I'm ever in the area because I enjoy the environment.

Stopped by Press and Moka recently and was honestly so impressed. The space feels warm and inviting without being overly trendy. It is comfortable and calm which makes it perfect if you want to relax or get some work done. The coffee was smooth and flavorful without being too sweet. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. Everything came out beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. Service was friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience even better. If you are in Orange County and looking for a solid coffee spot with great vibes, this is definitely worth checking out. I will be back.

This was a cute hidden gem coffee spot tucked in a corporate plaza near John Wayne Airport. I was already in the area for a medical appointment, and I was craving somewhere I could have lunch, matcha, and work on my laptop. Press & Moka was perfect for all 3. Parking was plentiful inside a structure, and validation was available for 2 hours. The place has a beautiful outdoor area with seating and string lights that I imagine look super pretty at night! The coffee shop itself is small and cute, and at the time I went it was decorated for Valentine's Day. I ordered the nova lox on an everything bagel and a matcha latte. The lox bagel was delicious and came with a yummy dill cream cheese. The matcha latte was a great afternoon pick-me-up. Service was quick and easy. I'm always looking for dog friendly spots around OC, and next time I'm in the area with my dog I will definitely think of this place's big outdoor area!

The brunch menu was limiting, with only a few egg dishes, sandwiches, and breads. The French toast and waffle were nearly $20 each despite the small portions and standard toppings. *French Toast: the worst item of the meal. The bread had no flavor or egginess and left a strange sandy mouthfeel. The interior was so dry that it soaked up all the moisture in my mouth. A poor showing for a classic French toast. *Waffle: the batter was slightly sweetened but felt too dense. The fruit was fresh, although nothing about the toppings or overall quality stood out. *Steak Frites: hanger steak topped with chimichurri and fries. It was supposed to come with bernaise sauce, but I did not receive any. The steak leaned closer to rare rather than the medium rare I asked for. However, it was still tender, and the chimichurri was vibrant and herbaceous. I wished more sauce had been applied, as the dish was a bit dry. The fries were decent, though I would have preferred more crunch. Given the long wait, I expected much more from the dishes in terms of flavor and execution. The lady who helped me - dark hair, really overly colorful eye makeup, and tattoos - processed the transaction but handed me the card without a receipt. When I asked for one, she spent a moment at the screen and then told me she couldn't print it because she had already closed out my tab. I was confused why 1) she didn't give me a receipt in the first place, then 2) she decided that was the only solution - to tell me it could not be done. After I asked her to find a solution as I needed a copy of the receipt, she finally asked her colleague beside her, who pointed her to the right place, and, voila, the receipt was printed. Leading with "I can't" is never the right customer service instinct, especially for something as basic as a receipt. I also tried to buy the butter they import from France. I stood at the case for several minutes with no acknowledgment. I finally walked over to the nearest employee (her name was Lucy) who was finishing up with a customer at the register right next to the butter section. I politely asked if she could help me when she was free. She looked at me, nodded, and said she would. Then proceeded to assist every customer who lined up behind that original customer without once glancing back in my direction. In fact, I had enough time to walk to the bakery, go through the entire gift card situation as mentioned above, and return to the butter section, and Lucy still hadn't looked over. I left without the butter. Moulin used to have fantastic service. I don't know where those regulars went, but two strikes in one visit, with two different employees, is hard to brush off.

I started with the Singe Germain, made with Monkey 47 Gin, St. Germain, crème de cassis, and lemon juice. This was easily one of the best cocktails I have ever had. It was so good that I ordered two more. My wife got the Rizière de Lychee, which seemed like their take on a lychee martini. The vanilla notes made it unique and really enjoyable, but we both agreed that the Singe Germain was the star cocktail of the night. One of our favorite appetizers at any restaurant is yellowtail crudo or hamachi, and Marché Moderne's version was incredible. The fish practically melted in our mouths, but the mango-yuzu-jalapeño sorbet on top was ridiculous. That sorbet could honestly be served as its own dish. Our only complaint was how quickly the whole thing disappeared. We also tried the grilled octopus petit plat. It leaned more Spanish than French to me, especially with the chorizo, and the potatoes and chorizo ended up being our favorite parts. We both tend to prefer cold appetizers over hot ones, so next time we will probably try the tataki instead, but the octopus was still very good. We ordered the bread as well. Despite all the reviews praising it, I thought it was good, but not necessarily life-changing. The real star was the butter with the big flakes of salt on top. For our mains, my wife ordered the Hokkaido scallops and I got the filet au poivre, essentially their steak frites. The steak frites was incredible. The sauce alone was enough reason to order the entire dish. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the tableside presentation made it feel even more special. They first placed down the fries and salad, then brought over the steak in the sauce, transferred it onto the plate, and poured the sauce over the top. They asked whether I wanted sauce over the fries too, which was obviously an immediate yes. The fries were good, although I thought they could have used a little more salt. The salad surprised me the most. I originally assumed it was just there to fill out the plate, but the vinaigrette was fantastic and made it something I actually wanted to keep eating. My wife loved the scallops, which was not surprising because she is a huge scallop fan. The dish itself was somewhat bare, though. It was essentially a few scallops with sauce, so if we had not also been sharing the steak frites and several appetizers, I do not think it would have been enough for her as an entrée by itself. Lastly, we ordered the crème brûlée, and this might have been the best dish of the entire night. It came with berries and a hazelnut cake underneath. Because we were celebrating our anniversary, they wrote "Happy 5 Year Anniversary" in chocolate ganache next to it, which paired ridiculously well with the crème brûlée. That little detail also perfectly summarizes the service. Our server answered every question I had about the menu, asked what we were celebrating, recommended the incredible Singe Germain, and made us feel completely at home. Another gentleman came by to talk with us, and we casually mentioned that it was our fifth anniversary. They did not just remember that it was an anniversary. They remembered that it was five years and included that specific detail on our dessert plate. That extra bit of thoughtfulness meant a lot to us. My only small disappointment was the seating. I had heard that one side of the restaurant has a large window where you can watch the chefs cook, but we were seated closer to the bar and could not see it. It did not hurt the meal, but next time I would love to request a table on the kitchen side. My wife and I have eaten at Michelin-starred restaurants from California to New York City, including everything from one to three stars, and Marché Moderne has the makings of something truly special. The food was excellent, but the service and hospitality took the entire experience to another level. Overall, this was about a 4.7 out of 5 for us. We will absolutely be back, and I cannot believe it took us five years to finally come here.
