I called this store to make sure if they had the drinks I wanted in stock. I've been to other small locations and they didn't have almost half the drinks I needed. The associate assured me they had all 30 of my juices in stock. She even said it would be done in about 15 mins, and they can even walk my order out to my car since they knew parking was tough. We were still about 1.5 hrs away. We were headed home to NorCal so we just wanted to find the closest location. We weren't sure what shots we wanted to get for our package bundle, so I told the associate we will probably pick them out when we get there. We headed down the street first to grab some breakfast. While we were there, then associate called us back to see if we had chose our shot options. I said we were still deciding, but we were down the street so we will probably just walk inside and choose. Once we arrived, all off our juices were pulled and bagged up for us. All we had to do was pick our shots out. After inspecting two other Pressed Juiceries, I checked this place out for its proximity to many of my other lunch spots. I figure, why the heck not juice and skip a meal. It could be healthy and rewarding. While I tried the cold pressed coffee and absolutely hated it at another location, I decided to try out their happy hour (past 3:00 p.m.) option where drinks were discounted and they would try to liquidate or risk throwing our inventory at a (potential) loss. I got the four for $20 deal, which is quite the steal considering these suckers go for $5.50/$6.50 a pop. I can't say I am happy to know they sell it for so much! Highlights: Brazilian: Homefries, this here is the king. It dominates the map. It travels the world. It calls you by your name. It gives you respect and leaves you wanting to hang out with your Brazilian nut friends. The creamy texture is awesome, but more importantly, it's like a smooth mix of your proteins (from greens like kale and spinach) and has taste enhancers through sea salt, vanilla, and the Brazilian nut. Roots 1: The key in this one is that it has beet, which is a great add for health. It is by the far the most nutritious of the root selections. It doesn't necessarily taste great, however. I wish they could make these guys more tasty, and thicker. Then again, it's juice. The carrot and parts tend to settle quickly in this drink as well. Greens 3: I prefer it over the Greens 2 because it has a hint of ginger. This mix is also more viscous and will have a slow burn down your throat due to the ginger. At the same time it has all the goodies! I'm stoked that I can get my greens, namely spinach and kale in this sucker. While you may get a random spurts of what is a watery cucumber or parsley, consider getting this one for its value. It may take some time to get used to, but you'll be glad you did when you get some spunk in our step. The location here offers curbside pickup, because there is no parking in the surrounding area. It's also something for the Cooper Design building patrons, but not really anyone else. It's near the fashion district so take any cues as to who they are marketing to, and not the I-bankers or lawyers of Bunker Hill. Although, I feel like they could buy into a share of what Pressed Juicery has to offer. The bottom line: Check this place out if you're nearby, but definitely sample drinks before you buy. Here's my rundown of the 3-day cleanse: Greens 2: kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon The first juice of the day is your standard green juice. This is what juicing is all about. It definitely tastes like it's healthy -- that is to say, it's not super delicious, but it's not bad. After a day or two, it begins to taste like you've been weeding the garden face-first. Make of that what you will. Citrus 2: apple, lemon, pineapple, mint I really expected this to be more delicious than it is. "Citrus" sounds tasty, the ingredients are all appealing, and the color of this juice is one of the most attractive. But the apple and mint are the most overpowering flavors in this one. It's not the best. Greens 3: kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, ginger They didn't actually give me any of these! Instead, they sent me duplicates of the Greens 2, which is fine because the only difference is that Greens 3 is supposed to contain ginger. And who needs ginger? Nah, not me. Roots 3: apple, lemon, beet, ginger I had high hopes for this because I feel like red juices are usually delightful. Clearly, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Roots 3 tastes like garbage. This is probably the roughest juice of the day. All beet with the distinctive, overwhelming zing of ginger in your face. It's a chore to swallow. Do not recommend. Lemon H2O: lemon, cayenne, filtered water I expected this lemon water to taste more like lemonade. So naïve. It tastes like spicy, lemon garbage. I just had to close my eyes and drink it quickly, praying that it was actually doing something beneficial for my body. Supposedly, it preps your digestive tract for absorption. But it's so awful, y'all. Vanilla almond: filtered water, almond, dates, vanilla bean, sea salt Well, I think this is the only juice that was genuinely enjoyable for me. I so looked forward to it at the end of each increasingly difficult day of the cleanse. That's because it tastes like a milkshake and provides protein and healthy fats. My kinda drink. If you can find a parking meter, do so. Otherwise, your best bet is to park far and just take the walk! When you do try this place for the first time, they will put you down on their mailing list. I do believe every 10 transactions entitles you to a free juice. Personally, my favorite has been is the citrus 2, pineapple, apple, lemon and mint juice. With the mint, it gives it that exact taste. The one thing that I will say about Pressed is that they are more than happy to have you try every single juice that they have if you ask. Great deal for juices! I knocked one star off because 2 of my 6 juices were WAY to acidic. The fruit used in it may have not been ready yet. I ended up just throwing those two away. Go with Citrus 2! read more

Pressed Juicery offers amazing AND healthy flavor combos, like this one for instance: Apple Cinnamon Persimmon, or this one: Citrus 4: Cucumber, Pineapple, Lemon, Coconut H2O and Aloe Vera. (I've uploaded pics of these in the Photos section.) Each juice has a purpose for optimal health. Pressed also offers a variety of cleanse/detox packages.
